I just bought a Tenacious and bought white aftermarket scales and all copper hardware…then came across this video and, man, first of all…you are one talented guy. Your knife came out looking amazing and I’m super excited to get mine put together with such a similar color palette to yours.

I had the same issue but then I tried Metal Complex's method to centering a blade and it worked! 😁

Man you make it look so easy. This one was impressive with literally no crazy tools. I was wondering how you cut of the spot for the liner lock. This one looks so good 👌
Appreciate it and thank you! I used to use a dremel to remove material for the liner lock but now I just hand mill it out🙂
@@KnathansKnives do you just use a regular drill bit or is the a specific milling bit for drilling out liner locks and cutouts for pocket clip

Any advice on getting the screws out of the cylinder spacers? Got flytanium scales but can't get three of the screws out
I like to use boiling water and let the knife sit in it for about 2 minutes to soften the Loctite.
Wow! That’s a fantastic custom job! I use Shooter Lube on my knives as well!

You guys should try Sons of Liberty gun works Spec 76. It’s thin and super slick. I tried some on my persistence and used Brand KPL on a manix 2 and the persistence is just as fast and smooth as my manix 2. Which I think is the smoothest SpyderCo out there from factory.

@@Ryan.S924 That's just the way the knife comes, but I'm assuming Spyderco adds two on each side for the lubricant to flow through and make it extra smooth🤔

Hey what’s the reason to use 4 bronze washers here? Any benefit? Or is it because your G10 scales were a bit thicker than stock?

I made sure the copper piece was as close to the thickness I needed and used a flat surface with sand paper to remove material until it was a perfect fit🙂

I want to get this knife customs with a wood handle a golf ball in it and my last name how do I go around about doing that
I can create the scales but the golf ball and last name will be interesting. I know you can have your last name engraved by an engraver after the custom scales. Maybe a golf ball texture on the scales themselves? 🤔
