    Thanks so very much for sharing your knowledge and the video. I made a Happy New Year video and just love it. I can't wait until Christmas next year to display the Santa video.

    You are amazing Rick. I don't know if I'm more impressed with your initiative or your skill. I also watched your old video on Bolt EGR valve, you are smart!

    That's really cool. I would have flipped out if I was a kid and saw that. Great job.

      Probably the cheapest thing in my light display … and it gets the most “ooooh and awes” lol

    It never came to my mind to try this material for my windows. I just installed 2 projectors using white table cloth material and got ok results but could be better. COol video.

    Does that even need the screen at night ? I would have thought it would work without it.

    • @FestiveScholar
      @FestiveScholar  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, without the screen all you will see is the bright light coming through the window towards you. It will just be shining though versus projecting onto.

    How do you make a loop video from a video clip? I guess my question is after download the clip from yours, how to make it keeps playing over and over on projector? Thanks

    Love it, Can you share the video file that plays in a loop ?

    • @FestiveScholar
      @FestiveScholar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, Rocio. Here's the link to the projection video on my channel. You can use a software like 4k video downloader and save it to a SD card and it will play on a loop. th-cam.com/video/64_WYAr522s/w-d-xo.html

    Where/how did you get the actual Santa video that plays on the projector?

    • @FestiveScholar
      @FestiveScholar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Janet. It’s a video file that I edited down to loop so the Santa waves at a set interval. There’s a link to the video in the video description.

      Thank you! Also, the projector that you use, the Dr J - does it have portrait mode for windows that are skinnier than your window? I couldn’t find it in the description of the projector. And it’s hard to tell the dimensions of your window. Thanks!

    • @FestiveScholar
      @FestiveScholar  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LexieHoops2026 I took a look at my projector during takedown of my Halloween display and this specific projector doesn’t have a portrait mode. My window is 8x10 but you just move the projector closer or further back depending on the size of the window. If you find one that works better drop the info here so others can see it!

    Is there a trick to make the video play repeat without adds?

    • @FestiveScholar
      @FestiveScholar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can download the video and save to an SD card or USB and play it directly via your projector if it has that ability. That ensures youtube won't interrupt it with an ad.

    How would i do this for a moble home?

    • @FestiveScholar
      @FestiveScholar  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The setup of the screen would be the same, your attachment point to the wall may differ based on your window frame materials. Mine are wooden so I use nails, but if you have metal frames you could use magnets or hot glue. It might even be easier!

    Where do you put the projector…? Outside?

    • @FestiveScholar

      Inside the house directed at the window.

      @FestiveScholar  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yep. It’s inside the house. Cheap, easy, and makes a huge impact! Good luck 👍

    Thats 2 mil, not millimeter. A mil is a thousandth of an inch, much smaller than a millimeter.
