  • Add an extra layer of fun to your Christmas, Halloween, or holiday display by adding a holographic holiday scene to your light show by using a projector. Projecting a virtual Santa, a movie scene, dancing elves, gingerbread men, ghosts, or whatever holiday scene you'd like makes for a fun time for your audience. I add extra scenes and fun movie clips to my show by utilizing the projector's thumb drive. I thought I would show you how I have my projector set up for my Christmas light show.
    I use the Total Home FX Holiday Projector for my show. If you'd like the same one I use, here ya go:

      Thank ya much, Steve. I don't at all mind the Santa house. It's much easier to build and take down when compared to the trees. The trees are what kills the fun for me. 4 days each to decorate and 2 days for take down.

      Hey there, Tamika. Email me at ChristmasOnCrestline@gmail.com and I'll send you my projection files. Good call on them being backwards. Most folks don't realize that is a necessity for your audience to see the images correctly. To project them backwards is just a setting your projector will have on its Settings Page.

    • @ChristmasOnCrestline
      @ChristmasOnCrestline  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there, Samantha. To accomplish this, you will need some sort of video editing software and screen recorder. I use a program called PowerDirector by Cyberlink for all of my editing needs. It comes with a screen recorder and editing tools. So, it satisfies my editing needs. Simply screen record the bit you need (FYI, Netflix can only be screen recorded via the Firefox Browser) and then edit it in your software. Then upload that video onto a thumb drive or SD card, whichever your projector needs and voila, you have a movie clip being projected through your window! I hope this helps a bit!

    Do this projector have sound or can I have a Bluetooth speaker to help with the sound

    • @ChristmasOnCrestline
      @ChristmasOnCrestline  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello there, Anthony. It does indeed have sound. However it is really low and the internal speaker is not all that great quality, in my opinion. This model does not offer a Bluetooth option. This device is geared more towards visual and less on audio it seems. This is fine for what we need it for as we only use it in our Santa's workshop when we have the light show up.

  • @sallyprovenzano7977

    Your video looks like it is shot vertically and it fills the entire window. Mine does not. I flipped the video to portrait mode using software, but it still looks like it is in landscape mode only flipped. Any advice? Thank you!

    • @ChristmasOnCrestline
      @ChristmasOnCrestline  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question, Sally. The key is to actual have the projector mounted on its side. Then you play your vertical files. This simply allows for the video file to be played at a 9 X 16 format.

  • @sandraynda6149
    @sandraynda6149 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @ChristmasOnCrestline
      @ChristmasOnCrestline  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there, Sandra. Yes, I can certainly help you. The trick is that you must show vertically inclined videos. If you'd like to email me, (ChristmasOnCrestline@gmail.com) I can send you my vertical videos. You can simply copy them over to your thumb drive and show them. The downside is my videos are set up for one window and not three.

    How do you hide the bright projection light circle you can see as a viewer?

    • @ChristmasOnCrestline
      @ChristmasOnCrestline  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That is a great question, Jamie. You can do that one of two ways. You can install it up top and angle it down so the bulb isn't seen or you can install it on the ground, below the bottom window level, and angle it up. You are correct though and a straight view will likely show the bulb's circle to anyone standing directly in front of it.
