Too bad the sponsor is lying through their teeth with their scammy marketing... It's basically just crushed veggies. You can buy supplements for FAR less that give you more than that garbage. Also have you actually tasted that crap before? It tastes like poopoo blergh..
Perfect meal. There is nothing like fresh trout cooked for supper. Only difference is that I use lemon pepper inside the cavity. Still put garlic salt and pepper on the skin side while cooking in butter. Heavenly! Thanks for the video.
Just want to share my appreciation for the vids. I'm a young guy from the LA area with practically 0 experience with nature. I find your videos quite soothing and inspiring.
My brother lives north of there, if you're ever interested, he's always send me beautiful pictures of him fishing at Lake Isabella in California, that might be a good place to start with a little day trip
Man I really enjoy the videos you post. Reminds me of the fishing channel I used to watch with my Dad back in the day. No loud annoying music, no trendy camera set ups, just good videos. These trout are beautiful
Please bring back the long form of content. Really relaxing and you’ve helped me teach my parents how to start a fire. Now they will invite their friends to come have some drinks round the fire. THAT I MADE! All thanks to you
That is a meal fit for a king!! You have just described alot of my childhood. Growing up my dad and I would trout fish and dig ramps in the Southern Appalachians of WNC and would enjoy the same meal with the exception of being coated in flour, salt and pepper. We would use our fly rods but use a normal hook and niblet corn for bait!! We also would fish upstream so the trout couldn't see us, by throwing our line upstream and letting it drift down to them. Trout are very wary and have excellent vision. Thx for the memories!!
Thank you for sharing your video!! My hubby and I just had trout, ramps, morels, fiddleheads for dinner last night. And mmmmmm good 😋 today we went back out and got more ramps and im going to pickle the bulbs. And later in the week im going to be making ramp, potato soup another fav of ours. The potatoes i give to our fur babies. I enjoy watching your videos keep them coming 🤗
Thanks for sharing. One time I hiked to Fuller Lake in Colorado to free dive and explore the mountain. After swimming in the lake for awhile, then catching some brown trout, a storm rolled over the mountain tops with lightning and thunder. So, I quickly threw my fish in a wet bag, grabbed my hiking pack and headed down the mountain as fast as possible to avoid getting hit by lightning. I remember walking for over an hour in my wetsuit and neoprene booties all the way back to camp at sub alpine level. My group decided to leave the mountain right then because it was forecasted to continue raining the rest of the week. So, long story long I never got to cook my trout. By the time we got back into Silverton I forgot about the fish and they spoiled. I was just visiting Colorado and we dont have trout in Texas so I never got around to learning the best way to cook them to avoid the bones. I'll try to remember your simple tips!
I discovered your channel recently and I've been loving it! I love being outdoors and have always wanted to learn how to learn more survival skills, and you make that very easy!
I love that you mentioned cooking the fish whole, it's a more respectful way to honor the life taken for our sustenance. There is so much waste when filleting a fish.
Awesome vid.....man, my mouth was watering...lol. I remember as a kid (about 9yr old) raised in up state NY, In that cool mountain air, my uncle would have a fire going before I caught my first trout. We'd have breakfast right then and there..just didn't get any better than that.....great memories. God bless
Yum! Trout and ramps (or ramsoms as we call them in UK). Ramps are one of my favourite Springtime foraging veg, got loads of it in local wood. Great for stuffing, soup, leaves chopped in salad, also make a great pesto sauce. Loving your content and authenticity. Big respect from 🇬🇧
I remember when watching Rob Bredl ( killer instict ), " not the size of the fishes you catch, but how much of its can make your starve gone ". ~ Im sorry if my English is not good enough, still practicing it.
You got me on to fishing in general let alone cooking them in the forest with a fire. I fish a bunch around Oil City, PA and I never go home hungry on a good day! Thanks for all that you do man you rock
I’m down here in NC and my mouth is just watering looking at all that PA goodness. I can smell it cooking from here. This video reminds me of a fishing trip I took in PA once. Someone fell in the woods hiking behind me and it sounded like cans getting crushed - it was bizarre - but anyway, I caught rainbow trout that trip. Good times in the PA wilds.
I found you because of the shorts you have been posting. Those are really good so i decided to check out your videos as well. I really like your content and am so happy that they came across my feed. Great job and please continue doing what you do!

That's my favorite fish- rainbow trout! great filming btw of the bigger fish you got underwater! You must have 7 hands to multi-task like that! I love your videos keep them coming- and enjoy the fish 🐟!

What a chill video... Only thing I'm gonna say is that you probably better render and upload videos in 1440p even if you're filming in 1080p, because TH-cam will give a 1440p video more bitrate, so it won't be so crushed when we look at rivers and other moving objects, that's it :)

I’m amaze how you always catch something everytime you fish.
This video is such a vibe. Perfect length, great scenery. Can’t wait to go camping. Been too long.
Relaxing day in the woods. Glad that you are able to enjoy it.
I'm convinced channels with the word outdoor are entertaining. Outdoor chef life. Outdoor boys, woodsbound outdoors
Never watched such a peaceful ad I didn’t want to skip
I love Ramps! I was whispering, "Put them inside the fish" and cheered when you did.

Dark worms or lures are best for clear water; clear or brighter, more florescent colors for dark water. You always want something that stands out.
Dude, You are my hero....Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences
It's been almost 50 years
Since I caught that trout
Still best breakfast ever 😋

Trout is by far the best tasting freshwater fish.
That spice thing you pulled out was pretty cool. I appreciate that there are multiple spices in that one cylinder shaped object.

Everytime there's a shot of you walking I can't help but imagine you setting up the camera, walking by it, then going back to pick it up

Next time, just pack a feather light laundry mesh with you. Zip those fish inside it, and put it in water... Will stay fresh for 2 days atleast.

Looks really fantastic and a very cool video! The only thing I would do differently is to cover the trout in flour before hand and add some butter 👍
