      Nice Video! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Schallingora Increase Capability Scheme (do a google search)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for learning how to dunk like a total badass without the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my buddy got astronomical success with it.

    Hey Adam,
    I've been working on my dunk technique and i'm starting to get ok'ish on one foot (i can dunk off the 9.6 rim in my town in france), but because of the pain i get from my shin splints, i've been trying to master a 2 foot jump to ease the pressure on my right leg. Now i'm a right foot jumper when i jump off one foot, so i just wanted to know which foot should touch the ground first in the takeoff jump? Should my right foot be the one which servers as the pole vault to stop me going forward or should it be the one i draw power from in the jump?
    Thanks again for the great video's

      I see this comment was three years ago but if you still don’t know then if you’re one foot jump is on your right foot then you should two foot jump right left in that order and can you dunk now three years later?

      That's really dope l try stretching more if you don't do that already or work on your technique, apart from that I don't think you'll be able to jump a lot higher by working on your vert you must already have a good 35, even 40

    • @iang5362
      @iang5362 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, I'll try that

    • @h.ali.0454
      @h.ali.0454 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Ian G for your vertical jump, technique alone can get you at least a 30-35 inch vertical. Perfect your form and you will add inches. If you want to go above and beyond tho, you'll need to start weightlifting, I recommend doing squats, box jumps, lunges, calf raises, and deadlift. This will maximize your jump and get you to like 40-45 in, but first just perfect your form.

    He's right handed but uses a left right plant?

      I'm also jumping like that :) . I thought it was not common. Often you see nba players doing a right left plant and dunking a right handed hang jam. It seems to not slow them down on a fastbreak
