  • We finally glue the panels together, as we assemble the cabinet!
This Video in German/Deutsch • Teil IV : Zusammenbau ...
Don’t be scared of glue - overuse, you can grind it off later!
The shown method is for a beginner, who has not many tools,
except one screwclamp and some glue!

Thanks for an excellent video! I have built cabinets like these without clamps by doing it in stages. For instance, if the top and bottom were between the sides, i'd glue these together first using books, etc. to apply pressure and stabilize the structure. Once this had dried I would use the same technique for the front and back. I thought this approach might help your viewers with very minimal resources enjoy this great hobby. Thanks again for the fine work!

Hi Bruce, one thing to note is that when clamped, the connection will be much stronger compared to a small weight on top. For example, plywood is so strong because the layers are glued with literally tons of pressure holding them together while drying.
I'd recommend to glue, drill pilot hole, and screw temporarily. That's how I started as I did not have clamps either....
Now I do not glue anything, just use brass screws, and they stay in. Although I'd recommend that for larger cabinets with plywood / solid wood, for MDF smaller builds, glue & screw. ;). The screw will make sure they dry with high tensile strength. Use as little glue as possible, and wet both surfaces.

Hi Jürgen, great videos, thanks a lot, Iam about to build one for myself, what kind of speaker terminals do you use? All the best :)

I did go for brass ones, unfortunately those I had where too short for the 25mm thick wall, so when You order, consider the wall strength of 2,5cm (one inch roughly)
