I was originally very skeptical of this, but damn this trailer has me sold. From my understanding, this is more of a fresh adaptation of the source material and less a remake of the animated film, despite what the footage in this trailer suggests. The animated trilogy is close to perfection, and I now feel like this live-action film will solidly stand on its own alongside it.

Growing up from 10 yrs old the same time as the first 2010 animated film up until i said goodbye to this franchise to 2019's hidden world at 19 years old....... this feels just right... that's all i can say, i know some of my friends don't like the idea of live-action, so i'll keep my expectations normally ❤ 😅

My main gripe with these reactions to HTTYD is that every reaction video misses out on the music. The music made these films iconic and the arrangement in this trailer is stellar but everyone has to talk over the best parts. I know, I know, I don't have to watch these reactions but it's just something I'm noticing. Respect to John Powell's masterpiece!
