Thanks for this. I also just grew out my 30 day no touch beard. All I used was balm and oils to keep the hairs soft, because I used to shave daily with a DE. I did a good job trimming as you suggested but I wish I would've seen this first. Guess who's going to buy a trimmer. I used a regular clippers
How to shape up your beard, Step 1: Be able to grow full beard.
Glad to have found this. Im 28 and ive never fully grown it out because it seems I can never get past the scrappy/patchy looking stage, but I think I just need to be more patient and keep it groomed like this. Thanks!
If you’re still having problems try using monoxidil
I can't even grow a proper beard but somehow I found myself watching the whole video. Great production quality!
Also anyone looking for the electric shaver its the BaBylissPRO Barberology Cordless Metal Double Foil Shaver they also have a single coil one as well .
I was hoping the brand was mentioned! Thx!
Which trimmer is he using?
@@aqibshaikh1674 its the same brand just search the babylissPRO youll see it.
Looks like a great trimmer but $150 is just too much money for me right now. Anyone know of a decent alternative in the $50 price range?
I use beard oil at this length and longer, as I have very dry skin. It really helps my skin not itch due to the dryness and makes the red in my beard shimmer in the sun
Sheeeeeeeesh nice bro
Same dawg, I just don't use as much when it's at that length. Plus I like the scent the beard oil gives off.
27 and never had anyone to teach me to shave or trim. Now, I cut my own hair and will be attempting to grow out a beard which no one in my family has or does! Thanks for these videos 🫡
Best thing I ever did was start using a straight razor, makes all the difference if you want truly clean lines. Bit of a learning curve though lol.
Every time I start to grow out a beard, rumors start spreading. He is back on the bottle! She left him! Middle age crisis! Hes falling apart! I am thinking this time I will go full on stranded on deserted island beard. Let em talk.
Bruhh same here in india lol
Reminder that you grow a beard for you, not anyone else.

Trimmed up my neckline a couple of days ago, first time ever doing so. I'm so lucky I got it on point. That could have gone very wrong.
What kind of trimmer is that?! It’s obviously the key to doing this properly!
Thanks man. Now I can finally shape my beard which comprises of 2 hairs.
I did my trim really dang nice for a first attempt. This video was the perfect guide dude cheers!
I’m obsessed with beards I’ve watched so many videos and none of them were as straight forward and and easy as this thank you
We need a link to those tools
Great video! Got a question about the trimmer. What brand do you recommend if you are looking for a higher quality one? (The price doesn't matter) Thanks!
Did you ever get an answer?
Babyliss pro, Jbl, or stylecraft.
“ a beard can change your life ”
If only I could change my genetics so I could grow one!
Look up Minoxidil. This can be applied to your face and your beard will (hopefully) grow after using for an extended period of time
@@markymark2120 an it falls out as soon as you stop using out. Lifetime addiction er subsbscription
@@berglund26 Only vellus hairs (baby hairs in the first stages of growth) will fall out after stopping. Terminal hairs which are thick and fully grown should stay.
It’s not an overnight fix. Will often require years of use for hairs to reach terminal stage. And of course everyone is different and some people just won’t grow full thick beards no matter what.
Edit: For anyone who wants more info check out r/minoxbeards on Reddit. There’s a FAQ in there which will answer most questions
@@berglund26 No it doesn't. If you use it until your beard hairs turn terminal, they will stay. Stop misinforming others please. I used Minoxidil for 2 years and had nothing before hand. Now I can grow a full beard.
@@berglund26 that's actually only true for head hair. Facial hair stays forever once you grow terminal hairs(not the little blonde ones)
Wish I had seen this before yesterday when I trimmed my beard. It turned out ok, but I didn't check to see how it's supposed to look under the chin. The good part is it will fill in in time. I thought your ten year beard was AWESOME!!! Thanks for the great tips!
Thank you sir you’ve taught a whole generation about of young men who didn’t have the teachings in how to groom there face.
Man,I'm 15 at this point my dad left and never told me how to trim my beard. I started growing a beard since 13 and I never knew how to trim it. It always looks horrendously bad so I just trimmed it completely wrong just because I liked having a beard. That might have been a very dump thing but I look better with a beard(at least that's what I think). Now I'll be able to trim my beard correctly and look nice. Thanks a lot for that
@Vampless He's rocking the god of war beard
@Vampless, when I let it for a week or to it gets up to 2-3cm and its basically as thick as a real man's beard, or u could say as GQs beard just more all over the place yk

A beard definitely changed my life in dating. It makes you look more distinguished
some ladies like beards some dont. So maybe you're just having success with the ones who are into beards, which might coincidentally be the ones you're into as well :). Fun fact, like alot of sports cars, other dudes always appreciate it more than the ladies lol
Especially once you get the food out of it after dinner
Women hate beards until you go down town then they change their minds lol
What about the people who do not have a jawline? Asking for a fat friend of mine.

Tried outlining my beard.
All done now I just need to colour it in
A beard can change your life! Most thoughtful line ever!
i use grapeseed oil on my face at night and it works pretty good for my beard too, it doesn't clog pores or leave a residue like other oils and helps with my acne. i would still use the conditioner too though, the oil just helps trap the moisture in
Try jojoba, even better.
I've had trouble with the neckline for years.. for whatever reason, the second I saw him trim it, it instantly clicked in my head... My neck line has been perfect for months and I just keep coming back to these videos
Ted Lasso made a great job! Thanks a lot mate!
Thanks for helping me trim my husband's beard. This is the best it has ever looked.

Any recommendations on a good trimmer that’s not too expensive?
That curve trick is golden, my beard is really sparse on the cheeks (it's all sparse lol, but, on the cheeks is specially THIN and SPARSE) so a curve is more than a need, is a MUST.
