I have yet to find an orangutan I havnt loved at first sight but Popo as a baby is definitely the most beautiful little orangutan I've ever seen. And the love in her mummy's eyes when she looks at her little one. It breaks my heart to know she is no longer with her baby in person, hopefully she is in spirit. They are a gorgeous pair.
What amazing mom!! Literally every minute she’s reinforcing that babies skills!! Climbing the fire hose. Climbing the metal posts. Forcing her to help herself up and over a wood fence. Crawling on different surfaces. Letting her discover but all under moms incredibly watchful eye!!! What glorious creatures and who could resist the babies hair!!! I’d be willing to brush and style it any time!!! 😂💇♀️🧼🎀💖
I hate their enclosure, it's too small. However, I love these two. Popo is a cutie and her Mom is sooo good with her. Also, if you look at more recent videos, Mom has lost a lot of weight and is moving around better. Which is GREAT!!!! I just wish their enclosure was a lot bigger, with better climbing structures.
What a sweetheart! . I feel so bad for the mommy. She is fat and somewhat lazy from being in a crappy enclosure. These orangutangs would be foraging for food high in the tree tops for up to 5 miles a day.. I don't think she moves for 100 meters a day there. The diet is just as bad.
That looks like a prison yard, that’s why I hate zoo that is not a natural environment for animals at all. They should be swinging from tree to tree making noise and having fun. The mom doesn’t look happy at all. Boycott zoo’s.
I really enjoy your videos SO much. Love the orangutans. Hate seeing their environment here, it doesn’t seem like the greatest of accommodations at all. Not very clean to me and not a lot of enrichments for them as they call it.
That is one horrible environment for that mother and her baby, and the noise is horrendous. The enclosure looks like an abandoned lot in a slum part of the city. It is shameful.

The baby hair makes me laugh so much. Baby always has something in her mouth, a piece of plastic or that little stick.

They naturally live in a quiet environment, how can they live with the horrendous noise.
