Popo is super cute!!! I love her determination for climbing and mama is right there with her supporting her and giving her advice. I really enjoy how the babies at this age navigate using their cute little grippers that they have on all four limbs. It's just too bad that mama is extremely fat from not enough exercise and then there is the shitty food that zoos provide. Completely nutrient less for this intelligent ape. I don't care what some idiots will say, these intelligent apes are worth saving and I will do what I can to help them in any way I can.all lives matter.
You can see them both thinking and reasoning. I think people underestimate the intelligence of orangutans because in zoos, they are just slow-moving, orange blobs on the ground. But I think they are phenomenal creatures. And, like most of the folks in the comments, I adore Popo’s hair!
