We're in Hua Hin for Note's birthday week but things take a turn when we run into troubles with Rocket. This Thailand road trip has been kind of a nightmare at times but we're trying to stay positive. With that said, Hua Hin is a beautiful city so join us on a full day of nature, adventure, delicious food and an unexpected twist to our Thailand road trip.

This is what I worry about when I drive or ride to remote places in Thailand. Glad you found friendly people to help.
You will get help from the locals or highway police for sure but it will take time to fix it.The auto mechanic is around anywhere.
@@insightwisdom7022for sure, but I don't have a work visa so I can only visit for a few weeks at a time and have to go back home for work. It's hard getting a job in Thailand because they have to hire 2x as many local workers if they hire 1 foreign worker.
Its not pleasant to say, but its thru Rocket’s hiccup that we get to see the “unseen” side of the general thai people, not shown in most others travel vlog. Thai people are just lovely. 🎉
Road bumps are part of the adventure! The best part is that you two are adventuring together with Rocket.
only in thailand, you drop off your car to get fixed and they let you borrow their bike so your day isn't wasted waiting there lol so amazing

So great to see Jek Piek Seafood Restaurant in your video. I first went to that restaurant in 2005, about 19 years ago. I lived there in Hua Hin, right across from that place, ate there often for the few years that I was in Hua Hin. Thanks for bringing back a joyful memory ♥
Such a great restaurant! We went back in the morning and were surprised to see they rent out the space to multiple vendors to sell different food items. The landlord is very entrepreneurial 👍

Those tyres might be too big and heavy. Probably giving too much load and resistance to the entire drivetrain. The entire drivetrain ie engine, gearbox, prop shafts and differentials might not be rated for such loads. However these tyres do help the aesthetics of a 4x4 vehicle. If you guys are not doing hardcore off-roading, down sizing the tyres might help in reducing breakdowns.

As always, Thai good will comes to the rescue. This video was great timing as I’ve just accepted a house sit in Hua Hin and have never been there before. Been to Thailand for last 9 years, but will discover this new place x x

Once again the wonderful beautiful Thai people. I am very much looking forward to Hua Hin this year. I will be able to compare it to Chiang Mai and based upon some hours of checking and finding a nice home to rent near the beach I think this will be a good experience as well. I will most definitely add that restaurant to my list! Thank you as always for your tip!
Make sure to visit that restaurant in the morning as well. We did that the next day and were surprised that they invite multiple vendors to sell different food items in the shared space in the morning. Great food and unique experience :)

Absolutely Loved the opening Hua Hin pool scene and absolutely started laughing. Pool looks outstanding. Absolutely love the bridge though the forest and I could spend hrs. Rocket is not a happy campier and want to go home instantly. Scooter time again YA. Amazing views from the little mountain.Absolutely love seafood. Crab and scallops count me in and yum yum. Agreed Flora’s face said it ALL. Absolutely Outstanding From Start To Finish. PS Happy Birthday Note and hopefully you had a special day

Hi guys . Sorry you guys are having car problems. What you’re experiencing is a typical for a highly modified vehicle. Eventually you get all the issues worked out. Maybe have someone go through the vehicle in Pattaya or Bangkok just to make sure things are are as they should be. The food in Hua Hin looked especially good

You can travel just fine without power steering. It's just harder to turn the wheel.
That was transmission fluid the nice man gave you to top it off and that is just fine.
I used mazolla corn oil in a power steering unit once when we broke a hose over 300 miles from fairbanks Alaska. Thailand Rocks 😅😊
If it’s the power steering fluid that is leaking, the car is still drivable. It will probably make a loud squealing noise when you make sharp turns but drivable and you will loose power steering. The steering wheel will feel heavy when you turn. Transmission fluid is also a reddish color. That would be bad and need to be fixed right away.
Maybe get a Thule Approach Rooftop Tent -Swedish +a condensation mattress @ bottom of mattress 🎉 go to dealer & check setup first or an Ocam hardtop roof tent 🙏✌
I love hua hin guys. Been there like over 5-6 times. Its the quickest gateway from bangkok city. Love the cicada , tamrind market & also the night market there. Can't wait to go back there. PS - Will definitely visit Jek Piek Seafood Restaurant ^^

Good to see you guys can laugh and still enjoy your trip. This is one reason i love Thailand, the people are so helpful and don't want anything for it even if you try hard to give them something. I think the oil can read ATF. Which stands for Automatic Transmission Fluid. Not supposed to used for power steering pump. Hope no more trouble. Good luck guys!
We checked it just incase and it was also for power steering. It was all good after they fixed the hose!

Red is usually Transmission Fluid, (color coded) (the power steering, brake fluid, and transmission fluids are all light hydraulic oils usually- so a bit similar, but a bit different.
