The gamestop stores in my area have not been displaying older generation games for about a year now. They don't seem to thrilled about having to print out list either..

I don't know how you deal with the beep that the ebay scanner makes every time it always makes me so anxious in an empty store because it's so loud. Lmao.
What I did was to open TH-cam and lower the volume to the minimum. That way, the beep from ebay will not appear.

Besides the lower qty on the Wii U Amazing Spider-Man, the other reason it's so coveted is it having all the DLC on disc. As with all Activision Spidey titles, they've also been digitally delisted.

As a long time collector it's slim pickings here. Resellers have wiped the shelves clean in my area. Looks like they're putting themselves out of business. They've bought everything they could make a buck off of. One store in my area has high end games marked double what they go for on ebay.
I still remember watching the “PS5 Preorder escalated quickly” vid MONTHS AGO and becoming addicted to the content a little bit later lol

Haven’t watched the video yet but funny story I remember trading in a game at gamestop that launched with the switch 1-2 and three months or something later I was able to 40 dollars store Credit. Even the worker asked how long has this game been out 😂 then the next day I looked up the store credit for it and it went down to 20

Both game stops in my town don't put out the older games anymore. They have all the PS3, Wii, 360 in the drawers and you have to ask for a list as of 2022.

I remember a time when gamestop didn't mark up based on secondary market value so you had a chance at getting a game for a decent price. Now they are just selling fakes for $80 and don't care.
That second store you went to, those are the lazy owners I am used to...just throw it all on the shelf and mark it up to ebay prices regardless of condition and also don't check or care if correct game or game at all is in the case. My local pawn shop has discs stolen all the time, they need to put them behind the counter

Seems about right for the Cincinnati area pawn shops. My wife and I go almost every weekend and don't find too terribly much.
A few of them we just don't go to as they never have anything worth while.

A week or so ago, GameStop had a buy 5 games $4.99 or less for $10. Pretty good deal at $2 a piece, so I went searching for PS3 and XBOX 360 games mostly. One employee told me their store plans don't call for having them out (this guy actually found a nook and kept them out). Where they didn't have them out, I asked to get the list like you did, but how many people are going to do that? Those games are going to mostly just sit there and rot. Makes no sense.

I sold that same pikachu 3DS last week for $300. You could of got $350-400 especially if it was new on eBay super easily. That was the one from 2013 not the 2017 *New* 3DS. Anyways appreciate your videos big dog !!!

These local game stores are charging more and more. It’s to the point where I get better deals on eBay and better quality.
I remember a past video where the pawn shop owners were searching ebay before they would name a price and you were bewildered. But don't you do the same before buying a game to get an idea what its worth is? Everyone is out there chasing the same nickel. Pawn shops (owners) are the sleaziest places (people) on Earth and just shy of second to car salesman for least trustworthy people.
