@@PhoenixResale it's reselling in general. It's also bad business practice on behalf of these types of companies. A physical in-store classic/pre-owned game will never sell for as much as the same product online because of the perception of the buyer. The physical stores should be where you can find something at a regular, or bargain, price, instead of the inflated collector's price.
wont buy a $40 game to sell at $70 with $25 profit after fees. will buy a $5 game to sell for a $2 profit after fees....

These kinds of folks are the types that real gamers and collectors despise. These A-hole resellers are what have destroyed video game collecting over the last 15 years. Go to every store, wipe out all decently priced items then resist them at 200 percent the original asking prices.

We aren't in q video game bubble.. retro games will always cost.more. red blue yellow crystal gold and silver were qll digital on the 3ds and still were going for 100. Hell diamond and pearl remakes jus came out and the OGs are going or 120

@@salarecreativa nor is a retro compatible handheld the same as the individual cartridges. If you create a retro handheld WITHOUT also re-producing the original content those games will further inflate given the increased demand for them

I still have my Muppet Monster Ps1 game. I got it at least 12-14 years ago at an auction with my grandpa. It was bundled with a system amongst other great games too. Made some of the best memories with my grandpa at those auctions every tuesday

Look for H seams on sealed NES games. Essentially that goes for SNES, Gameboy, etc... Should be a seam all the way across the back connecting the 2 side seams and basically forming the letter H... Hence the term "H Seam". There are some instances where games don't have an H Seam... Some N64 games have overlapping seams.

Don’t compare ebay to anyone ebay has scalpers welcome to the home of scalpers there are also normal sellers on ebay that aren’t scalpers their games gets sold very quickly so you never got a chance to see the normal sellers cause the scalpers bought them all out if you see a store that over prices games like Best Buy Walmart target GameStop I’ll love to know who and don’t match price ebay the scalpers want $45.000 for the Mario collection on Nintendo Switch want to pay one of them when you can buy them for $49.99 online ebay isn’t a store your buying from people around the world from their home not a store don’t be surprised this store sold you this game this cheap be thankful their not scalpers

The looseness on the back of Hitman along with the jank to the left and right of the bottom seal make it look like a re-seal. The rippling on the front left looks like someone tried to shrinkwrap it with a heat gun but poorly.

loved countdown vampires back when i was a kid.
i loved how it was just like resident evil but with vampires. i also enjoyed the look of the tattoo the guy had.
i was 18 when i got that game. i told myself that i would get his tattoo once i could afford it. 15 years later i had the money.
though i ended up getting mine in red. it was the only ps1 game i had kept. so i could have my artist look in the manual to see the tattoo.

The sealed atv off-road fury 2 game for ps2 is a good find. I remember playing that kid as a game and always enjoyed it. I would love to own that game again, especially the one you found!
So this is why I never find anything good in Game Stores. People like you snatch them all and sale them for more. This is the problem with “collecting” these days.
The reason you never find anything is because not only is the popularity of video game collecting skyrocketing, but you’ve also told yourself there’s nothing out there before you’ve left the room. I find great deals every single day I go looking for them. I’m not special, I just have more work ethic than excuses.

In that first store it looks like they're pricing the boxed NES games and loose. And some prices are out of whack, like kickle cubicle for anymore than 30-35. If fire n ice loose is under 100 which it looks to be, that's a underpriced game as well!

Obscure is one of the rarest game on ps2 and for that price is a excelent deal. I just pay $321 CIB on Ebay auction. 🥴 I can't complain cause disc was with very light scratches you can almost see and looks almost new condition but still hurts my pocket 😅😂

Not going to lie, but feels like you're pulling numbers out of thin air. There is no way a copy of Black Ops 2 for the Xbox 360 will sell for $80 on eBay. I just checked and nobody is selling it for that much. Not even the factory sealed ones are selling for that much.
Who are the idiots that are going to pay $10-$30 over what a game is worth? Most of the games he is showing I found online (eBay, Amazon) for very close price he paid. Are these game stores just shorting themselves? All the local shops around my area sell based on about 10-20% off eBay prices.
