MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Sold the box of Nintendo Power locally for $550. Sold the 3 Pocket Monster figure boxes for $150 shipped. So minus a small amount for shipping and PP fees on the figs, basically into profit already. Thanks for watching everyone!
A week without a froggy video is a long week - so great to see you again 😊 having watched the complete upload I just wanted to also say your display looks amazing
They kept bringing out items, or mentioning items, when they saw you had the cash or could go get more cash from the ATM. 😃😃😃 This is a great example of "money talks". 💰💰💰
I found a SNES at the bottom of a box of cables and junk at a garage sale last weekend and got it for $7, with 2 controllers and AV/power. I wouldn't pay $700 for all that on eBay.
Just because it's a garage sale doesn't mean the sellers have to give the stuff away for way below value. This is not exactly junk that's not worth anything that they're selling here. It's valuable stuff to the right buyer. And judging by the update, he flipped all of this and still made out with a profit. Buyer still came out on top in this deal regardless and made money. Seller was happy and buyer was happy, that's all that matters.
@@trainofthough0242 I agree but a garage sale is not really a place to ask for full retail on stuff that's what eBay is for. You don't go to a garage hopeing to pay full retail
@@retropapa3821 They're not asking for full retail though, everything that they sold altogether was below market value and sold for less than what they would've got if they sold it all on ebay and actually got what it was worth. I don't see the issue with people at garage sales asking for what it's worth or close to it. Especially if you have a buyer that's willing to give that to you and not lowball you because it's a garage sale. People that go to garage sales to flip stuff that people are giving away for a lower price that you could get anywhere else already have no right to complain about prices being too high. That's how I see it.
Froggy, thank you for filming your adventures and showing off all your nostalgic finds. Love to live vicariously through you since I don't have the time or patience to do it all. Almost positive that this gentleman was trying to see how much $$$ you had. He would start with one offer, then mention that he would be willing to add to the deal for X amount of money. Kind of funny how he was constantly doing this. You got a great deal!
I've been working at a body shop for a bit now and extra tips I learned was if you're painting the door, it's better to take off the mirror and belt molding (the trim at the bottom of the window) for a better paint job in the end. The mirror can get in the way, and if you're unlucky, the clear coat could stick in that gap between the door and the belt molding.
With the console testing station, if you come across any of the screens they are brilliant for testing. I have the psone screen on my testing one and 1 on my private one and they are just great for taking a quick photo of the games working. Next on my list is the gamecube one.
I'd recommend getting the PS2 screen for testing since it uses the regular rca (red/yellow/white) connectors for inputs on the back. You can pretty much use any oldschool system with it!
That guy started high as hell and then on the back end with the Pokemon he made up for it. I hope he realizes how fortunate he was.
