Plowing A Half Mile Long Driveway In The North Idaho Woods

I knew this would be challenge when I moved here, even when the plow truck was working properly, which less than half the time. But this is the price I pay to live on a private slice of quiet woods.

Checking in from Southwest Idaho! Really enjoyed the video. Always cool to see how others are dealing with all this late snow we've been getting. I clear the snow with a tractor and snowblower, but with wet snow and ground that's above freezing, I've been breaking shear bolts like crazy from sucking up rocks.

That looks like fun ! I plow my driveway /road with a 1985 Chevy 1 ton - I’d say my truck works half the time too!!! Hopefully done for the year but ….

I will admit, when the snow is fresh and and the truck is working, it can be fun. It looks we’re out of the woods for this year. Time to endure the mid for a bit.

I think so, but you would need to get sand chains.
