A wonderful contribution to knowledge. Thanks for sharing
Glad it was helpful!
Dear Dr. Fawad,
Thank you for these lectures that are very helpful.
Refer to the section of your lecture from 6:20 to 6:50, can you please clarify, where to find the SD and the SE that you put into the excel sheet to produce graph.
Thanks for watching. You can take it from SPSS or Excel.
The best video ever.
Thank You. I am glad you liked it.
JazakAllah Sir,
Thanks for watching.
Excelente presentación, por favor podría compartir el excel de graph the contional indirect effect for a silgle continuous moderator, muchas gracias
Thanks. I am glad you liked it.
Brilliant work.
Thanks for the appreciation.
@@researchwithfawad Prof., I didn't see in this video how to calculate the index of Moderated Mediation, could you please check
This is reporting, please see other videos in the series.
Thank you for wonderful videos, Prof.
Where can I find Excel file for developing moderating graphs?

Good day, sir. Thank you very much for the video.
I am analyzing a moderated mediation model, and I need to examine the indirect effect at various levels of the moderator.
The PROCESS in SmartPLS 4 reports the conditional indirect effect, but only at + 1 and 0 values.
My moderator in SmartPLS, I set it as a Ordinal Scale, because I use Likert Scale for my survey.
(E.g. my moderator is computer self-efficacy)
My questions is : Can I get the indirect effect at -1 values?
Please check Conditional Indirect Effects. It does show -1
Prof, in the Moderated Mediation Plot. How did you get value of -1.36595 and +1.36595 of "Level of Moderator: Role Ambiguity" colum? You did not explain where to find these value in the video, kindly clearify.
Thanks. This is standard deviation.
@@researchwithfawad What is this standard deviation? It’s not clear!
Dear Prof, thank you for your videos. They are beyond helpful. God bless you. I would like to find out if there is a way to plot conditional indirect effects for a model 9-based analysis where there are 2 moderators on path 'a'. There appears to be no video or excel sheet that guides or helps with model 9-based graphs. Could you please help?
Thank you Sir.
Two moderators in same plot. If yes you may have to design one in Excel.
@@researchwithfawad Thank you Prof. Only that I have a deficiency in designing it in excel.
Great toturial. Thanks you very much 🙏🏼💐. I have a question, is there a way to meditated mediate a path? I mean two mediation, one to impact the relationship between IV and DV, and second to alleviate or aggravate that mediation? Or we have to use another software?
Thanks. I am glad you liked it.
What gou are referring is that with inclusion on another mediator, existing mediated relationship is further improved.
This is possible but to the best of my knowledge may require a more Stepwise approach.
This link may also help. See figure 4

Thanks for your answer, the model I'm interested in is something like this:
www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0148296322001187?via%3Dihub
Which has two mediation in one path, I tried to do it myself but it seems not to be working.
The model shared is simple with moderation between and IV and DV. What is the problem that you are facing?
sorry, it's seems I misread the hypothesis, thank you for answering. 🙏🏼💐
Thank you for such informative video. I have one query that if my moderating variable is a higher order construct how will i derive the standard deviation? Should I calculate it for all the items in LOC of moderater ?
Thanks for watching. Yes, please, take the mean and SD for the complete scale.
Thank you sir
Thank you for such informative videos.. I have a question when I run process bootstrapping with one tail and 10000 subsamples, I get conditional direct and conditional indirect effects values at -1 SD, +1 SD and at mean, I don't know why.. please can you tell me where have I done mistake in performimg the analysis, would be grateful
Thanks for watching. This is for low and high level of moderator.
Very well explained. Simple and easy.
I think moderated mediation can be done in Amos also. But it would involve manual work. Right.
Please advise
Thanks. I am glad you liked it.
Yes, definitely, Moderated Mediation can be done in AMOS. Here is a complete session

@@researchwithfawad thank you
Thank you so much sir. I have a query. I got my specific indirect effect of moderated mediation as insignificant. But coming to conditional indirect effect , it is insignificant when the moderation variable is at high level but significant when the moderation variable is at low level and mean.
So how do we interpret that. Do we conclude it as that moderated variable has no significance on mediation
There is moderated mediation.
sir if in the same condition at +1 SD p value is insignificant what will be the interpretation then and at mean beta is 0.055, at +1 SD 0.022 and at -1 SD 0.088. and all the values are significant?
There is a significant moderation as the effect is changing significantly.
AOA. Thank you for sharing this video. I have a query regarding moderated mediation reporting. When do we report slope analysis for moderated mediation, where we can get the moderator SD values at +1 and -1 SD? As in your video, the SD value is the same, just a sign difference (e.g., +1.36595 and -1.36595). From where do you get these SD values of the moderator?
Thanks in anticipation.
Regards
I am glad the video was helpful. For SD of the moderator, you can use MS Excel or SPSS.
@@researchwithfawad Thank you for the video and your answer.
There's one doubt.
We get the SD item-wise. Do we need to take the mean of these values to calculate the SD of the entire construct? Or should we calculate the SD with the latent variable score of the construct?
@@shumailachandni I encountered same question-how to calculate SD. Could you help to share the details? Thx
How can I get the “conditional indirect effect”? My bootstrap results have no such values
You will need to run a process model. Please watch

Thanks for your email.
Has been explain this video.

Can we use this plot even for categorical moderator 1 and 0 ?
Please refer to the article for more detail

@@researchwithfawad I LL bro thank you for your sharing .Please just tell me whether it s possible to use the same procedure for categorical moderator like had any ethics course or not. In this case should I change -sd mean +SD with 1 and 0.
The procedure slightly changes for categorical moderator.
@@researchwithfawad is the explanation available in the paper shared brother?
@@researchwithfawad Please brother provide some guidance. What I did is that i followed the same steps that you did. Only change that I made is istead of tree lines (-SD, Mean, +SD) I used only two lines (1,0) in my case had ethics course previously and did not have any ethics course previously. Is this right ?
Sir if you have any published works on moderated mediation could you share it please?
Not yet. I am yet to write a paper with moderated mediation.
Sorry, Sir, One more question: RA moderates the relationship between CC and ASR, and RS moderates the relationship between ASR and OP, are they all called moderated mediation? I am even curious how to express them in hypothesis for distinction?
Please refer to moderated Mediation results section in the reporting procedure l. Better to also watch the previous sessions on moderated Mediation
@@researchwithfawad Sorry, I've gone back to those videos from Series 35 to 39 and looked a few times and still can't figure it out. My questions are twofold: 1) no matter RA is moderating on the left side or the right side of the indirect effect, are they all called Moderated mediation? 2) Once written in hypothesis, is there any difference for expression?
Yes, moderated mediation is irrespective of where the moderator is. Yes, no change in hypothesis.
@@researchwithfawad I feel so sorry to bother you again and again.
Thank you for taking the trouble to answer my questions.
Dear Sir, TKS for sharing this useful video. I'd like to ask a couple of question which is if Moderated Mediation is called CoMe in PLS? Besides, how do we come up with those three values of -1.36595, 0.00000, and 1.36595? Can I be permitted to have the data file for this video? TKS in advance!
Thanks for your interest.

@@researchwithfawad Sorry, Sir, I have had watched Series 35 before, but it seems unable to solve my above questions.
This is Standard Deviation of the moderator.
@@researchwithfawad OK! TKS! So moderated mediation is CoMe in PLS?
Yes
Thank you so much Sir for sharing this. Thank you for simplifying it to be understood by anyone. I have gone through reflective formative higher order construct, that video helped me a lot to clear my doubts. Sir would you please share a video on moderated mediation with reflective formative higher order construct, in PLS 4. What if my IV, mediator and moderator has reflective formative higher order construct.
Like in this video- th-cam.com/video/-VX9hpWlEBk/w-d-xo.html, you have explained to connect lower order constructs to mediator and DV. Will Those lower order constructs be related to moderator? And moderator's order constructs be related mediator? And mediator's lower order constructs related to independent variable?
Sure, i will soon.
But for now, If your constructs are at higher level, the process remains the same, you design a PLS-SEM model with all LOCs, get LVS, and add the LOCs as indicators for HOCs in the process model, just as you add items. Now LOCs with LVS serve as an item.
