I just want to say you guys are AMAZING with these comments thanks so much for telling us about other sales and you’re opinions on the games if you’ve played them!
Genuninely, play Spiritfarer. It is sooo good. The music is gorgeous, the characters are amazing even though their stories just hurt a lot of the time. Im currently playing it and it sucked me in so much. You can hug EVERY CHARACTER. You get so invested into every story, including your own. Anyone whos thinking of playing it, play it. You wont forget it
Warning you about My Time at Portia a major character does eventually die but if you get the quest to help them and complete it every time you get it they will live longer. I didn't know this and bought the game after my dad died and could not play more for years. I want to try again because it's fun but that's a darker part of the game that's not talked about enough.
On SOS: If you are into customization options, go for Pioneers of Olive Town. If you're into cuter animals (fat cows) and a bit more exploration, go for Friends of Mineral Town. I have both, and if you're not really too much into customization, you will realize POOT's world feels pretty empty. On the other hand, there's not much to customize in FOMT, at best you can buy a cosume for your character and walk around town looking like a cow...
Thanks for the heads up about Jenny LeClu. I played it when it was on Apple Arcade, and now I can tell my daughters (who both have Switch handhelds) to go pick it up.
Havestella demo is pretty in depth. It's like 2 full chapters of the game. Physical copies might still be on sale too. I just picked it up for $35 last week.
I got Harvestella on sale and I love it! But I feel like people should know it's really a dungeon crawler where you happen to also do some farming. The combat is pretty easy though but it is pretty fast-paced. So definitely try the demo if you haven't played a lot of other JRPGs or Square Enix games
The demo seemed so slow so I wasn't sure about getting it but so glad I did and this sale is worth it! I have over 100 hours and still seems like there is loads left to do and it keeps getting better! Love it!
@@amytheshihtzumom I don't like too difficult or too much combat, and I think the combat is great. I had to look up tips for the main bosses but once I knew what to do it wasn't hard.
2 games I just picked up on sale in the Nintendo switch eshop are: Tales Of The Djungarian Hamster - $4.99 - Sale ends 5/12/23 Om Nom Run - $0.49 - Sale Ends 5/18/23 Going to get Story Of Seasons later~ 💖
Hopefully Strange Horticultural will go on sale for a decent percentage off on switch soonish, it’s definitely one I’ve had my eye on for awhile now. 😅
Spiritfarer is in my top 5 favorite games of all time! Definitely recommend. Also love Doraemon’s story of seasons, so I’ll say this - if you’re interested in picking up any of them, get the Friends of the great kingdom. The first game is verrrrry grindy and slow. The newer one did better with the storyline and doesn’t take as long to get items or storyline progression. Hope that helps!
I wouldn't say My time at Portia is a farming game, it has farming (and what there is a bit meh) but to me it's more about crafting, gathering, exploring and interacting with the other residents of Portia. Great game though and I'm looking forward to the switch release of My time at Sandrock! Yonder (apart from the graphics seeming to be a bit blurry in places - same with cutscenes in Grow: song of the Evertree) is good too. Thanks for the info on the sales. Great video!
It's so weird, I'm not scared by any type of horror, from the disturbing to the gory. But I'm the biggest wimp when it comes to emotional stuff. Especially when it involves elderly people or animals. I just can't deal with the feels.
I Just picked Up my time at portia for the Switch. I also have it for PC but i prefer to Play Games Handheld on the Switch. Under 10 bucks is a great price and i really enjoyed playing it before.. i Just played Like 20 hours before but now i'll try to Finish.
Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (GameCube) was my favorite of the HM series. I’m so excited for it to be coming to Switch under the Story of Seasons title. 💚
Veil of Dust was released this last month and is on sale on Steam for 50% off, $7.50. No cloud saves though which means it wouldn't be convenient to play on desktop and Deck
Omg. I'm glad I found this video in time! I was able to get the games I wanted but didn't know were on sale because I was so busy recently I haven't really been using my switch.
Harvestella wasn't bad In my opinion definitely not worth the $60 Map wasn't all that big And it played more like an RPG and didn't have a lot of the farm mechanics that you would think a farming game would have It played more like final fantasy a classic final fantasy game but it wasn't a terrible game To give you an estimate it took me about 2 weeks to get all the achievements Include the story
Would you say My Time at Portia is “required” to play My Time at Sandrock? From what I’ve seen Sandrock improves from Portia significantly so not sure if I should just wait for Sandrock it to release on Switch or just get and play Portia. As for Story of Seasons, I’m a bit bias but definitely recommend checking out Pioneers of Olive Town. I’ve put in a lot of hours and is one I enjoy a ton, always feels like there’s something to do
I have not played Sandrock yet but Portia is soooooo good. Honestly, I don't think you'd be disappointed if you got it, even if you're wanting Sandrock, too.
these games look so good thank you so much payton i’m sorry i couldn’t catch this amazing video yesterday wasn’t feeling good hoping to feeling better soon
I recommend story of seasons a wonderful life, I played that back on the Nintendo GameCube and it’s super fun and I’m definitely getting that. I’m so excited to play that on the Switch.
Also I bought my Life at Portia, very interested in playing that. I had bought spiritfarer before (haven’t gotten around to playing it yet) but I played the demo and it was fun
Gonna have to check some of these out! I love when there are a bunch of cozy games on sale! I have a question though?!?!? What lip gloss are you wearing? It’s beautiful 😻
If you want to try SOS, I highly recommend trying some of the DS/3DS era games (assuming you have those systems). As a long time fan of around 15 years, imo the series really started going down hill with the switch games. I haven’t gotten very far in any of them cause they’re just not very good, imo. But if I had to choose one, I would go with the Friend of Mineral Town remake on switch. But even that one isn’t that great, imho. Also if you end up liking SOS, try Rune Factory. The newest one, RF5, isn’t great, but RF4 is still genuinely one of my absolute favorite games. I’m not very good at games in general, especially combat, but if I can do it and enjoy it anyone can.
I've tried My Time at Portia on the PS4 a couple of years ago. It was an okay game but the camera motion got to me so I had to stop. The story aspect was what had attracted me to this game in the first place. Also have Story of Seasons, Pioneers of Olive Town after TagBackTV had done a series playing the game in Japanese (he had no knowledge of the language - only having picked up "nani" or what?) which bred its own form of chaos. It seemed a bit clunky at the time but I do know that there had been a number of patches released since launch (I haven't touched it since entering my own ACNH era).
I am soo happy that You included two of my favourite games, which are Spiritfarer and Strange Horticulture. I have spent lots of hours playing Spiritfarer and I can't find anything that I would hate. You can also play it with your friend :3. As for Strange Horticulture it's very peaceful and mysterious. It's not only about giving the right plants to the customers but you also have to solve some puzzles. I definitely recommend both especially when they are on sale!
Would love to see you react to the game trailer of infinity nikki it looks like the ultimate cozy game and people are saying it's going to rival genshin impact
Has for story of seasons It definitely was unique and not bad either but it definitely lacked in a lot of elements Such as events To a month didn't seem like it was enough to me Desi And her partner were not in this one at all Which does few things to me make up story season's game should be And then the characters a lot of the dialog was very not life like Again that's my opinion but it wasn't a bad game to play if you're looking for a farming game my time I liked it enough to say I want to pick up the next one that's coming up my time at sand rock when it comes out as well as roots of patcha and a few others
I don't suggest you pioneers of olive town at all. I love farming game and I played other harvest moon or story of season but... Pioneers is bad, it seems made just to make a game and release it, it lacks purpose and leaves you like something is missing and has so many problems
I would have to say Harvestella is one of the biggest disappointments of my gaming life. I never clicked on a Pre-Order button so fast when I heard SE was making a farming sim. But the writing in this is just so terrible. I would have forgiven such writing in a 10-dollar indie game, but this is Square effin Enix with a $60 price tag. All that tells me is that SE threw some random things together for a quick dip into the cozy game honeypot that's been gaining more popularity in recent years. There's a reason why they're dropping the price by 50% a mere 6 months (less even) after release.
I like the mechanics of it a lot, I hope if they explore the genre more that they'll have a more fleshed out plot and voice acting. No voice acting was my biggest disappointment
I just want to say you guys are AMAZING with these comments thanks so much for telling us about other sales and you’re opinions on the games if you’ve played them!
Spiritfarer is incredible! Emotional, cozy, just an incredible gaming experience.

As someone who played through Strange Horticulture, I HIGHLY recommend. It was so intriguing and interesting to play.
Spiritfarer is one of my favorite games! Please for the love of all things cozy, play it! Strange horticulture is also very cozy and relaxing to play

The Ace Attorney games are on sale! They’re some of my absolut favourite games and very cozy
My time at Portia is really good I have over 50 hours in the game. Yonder I finished in 11 hours and I adored it! One of my favorites of all time
Spiritfarer is by far one of my favorites, along with coffee talk, it's beautiful and so emotional !

@@DarbyCrash00 yeah it definitely starts out very slow I think that might be why it's gone a bit under the radar too
I would like to play, but I’m worried about the combat difficulty. Did you find combat stressful?
@@amytheshihtzumom I don't like too difficult or too much combat, and I think the combat is great. I had to look up tips for the main bosses but once I knew what to do it wasn't hard.

jenny leclue is a great game often goes on sale that's how i got it, the only con is the cliff hanger ending still a wonderful game though ❤

I hope so! The eshop has to step it up compared to steam!!
Strange Horticulture is a fantastic game! Do be warned though that the actual story is a... well not as cozy as the game play.
I've been wanting strange horticulture for a time now
But for switch, dinners crossed we can get it on sale
