Dear Jean Houston. There are not to many of YOU left in this world. I salute you and all my wonderful teachers who enriched my life and i am truly sorry that when i got those lessons i was too stupid to thank all of my teachers. That is why, on behalf of all those brilliant minds, including you, i would like to thank you for your beautiful soul.

Omg! Thank you, Dr. Houston! This beautifully performed speech has made me think twice about my life! I have been thinking of “not being here” anymore, that I’m useless and unloved, and doubted my reason for being here. I used to be a vibrant teacher, but had to retire because I’ve had chronic illnesses and horrific pain for 15 years. This has taken a physical and emotional toll on me, and I’ve lost almost everyone, including my family. This brought me to tears, and I know I’m here for a reason. I have felt this way, but needed a push back in the right direction. 🙏

Love how Jean Houston has people get up & experience for themselves, if only for a minute. I’ve not forgotten the weekend workshop I did with her years ago. Best part was group dances, all of us in a circle. Not the usual thing at all. Indescribable. She’s a unique midwife to awakening human consciousness. Yes, and let’s wake up & do our part to wake up others-for pity’s sake!

I read one of her books ("The Possible Human") for a 1984 college class (Holistic Health) which greatly influenced me throughout my life. It was the only book which I kept from my college career. She is so tremendous with such a magnificent mind and soul. There is a song with its title, "We Are the Ones We Have Been Waiting For" which I sang with a choral concert while I was an audience member 25 years ago. I have forgotten the author of the song at the moment. It is such a powerful statement put to verse and sung in a large group.
Could the song be by Karen Drucker? She has a version, maybe the one? :)

Perhaps it is, What is truth to you? The idea is that even not knowing the truth, you would still be able to continue with what you usually do without any intended or necessary adjustment to our thought process.
But seeing and knowing the truth, would significantly alter it and thus, force you to realign your thought process with the new found meaning as your "real" purpose in life.
In my view, both are truths, to which one you consider more relevant is not the issue but both equally important. The reason why the latter is more attractive is the accumulative build up of the informational value that resonates in the world around us, overwhelms us with a unique sense of connectedness with everything.. I believe we would would call it sacred union or transcendence. I hope it helps. Nice one!

I am just watching this on Friday, June 26, 2020 and I cannot believe how riveting this speech is for this time in our history. I need to find any current speeches by Jean Houston to hear her deep wisdom pertaining to the global pandemic and the black lives matter movement. I met her back in 2007 while on a cruise through Turkey and Greece with the Mark Victor Hansen organization. She was on our cruise with us and she was brilliant. She shared with me some amazing predictions for my life's purpose that are now manifesting. It had to do with me helping to bring Light to the World, which through my character, Brighton, I am now doing! The world needs to hear more from her as often as we can.
