D.I.D has multiple product offerings for on-road bikes. We briefly break down various chain products to help you discover which chain is necessary for your bike and style of riding.
Hey, John. Sorry about that. We try to include stickers shipped from our location. Just email didchain@daidocorp.com, and we can send you some stickers.
X-Ring chains are the most durable and will give you the longest chain life. There aren't any durability differences between colors, however, the G&B and Silver colorways have two plated layers, which technically gives the metal a little more protection. Chain maintenance frequency is the key to longevity!

The crux of the problem is, Sealed chains are stiffer & absorb more power than regular chains to move, bend around the sprockets, etc. So, you need more power to compensate. Won't work on my V Star 250.
@@Chevsilverado I was a road racer in younger days. Most good racers could count tenths per lap. I counted hundredths. Was division 1 GTP champ in 97. Won every race but one and sneezed a motor that time.
ERVT is a great chain option for Dual Sport bikes that see a mix of on and off-road because of its thin design and X-Ring seals for a longer chain life.
I love my DiD chains. Pure quality 🙌 Every chain I get the paper has been a little ripped or worn because it’s packaging material could I ask for a fresh sheet of stamped wrapping paper I could frame and put on my wall 😅
@@DIDDirtStarNorthAmerica it seems you have lowered the build quality of your Zvmx Gold 525 - 530 chains i am now on my second replacement chain as now they are needing way too much adjustment now , which is a concern of chain strength or even safely your Zvmx chains were way better before so please what has changed, are chains the still ? made in japan so whats has changed with them other than the new box artwork
@@sabs1970 Thanks for the feedback! All products are still 100% manufactured in Japan and will continue to be. The ZVM-X series, specifically for the 525 and 530 sizes have received a seal upgrade, which is why they are now modeled as the ZVM-X2. These two sizes are our last two X-Ring chains to receive this seal upgrade as the other chains in our lineup have received the upgrade over the last several years.
Maybe include a sticker decal that would be nice for the price you pay

Dimond chain must try

I put an o-ring on my Vstar 250 and couldn't tell the difference.
@@dustindutcher6898 I did the chat thing on Cycle Gear website and they said sealed chain has less friction? Still needs lube too of course.
If you can notice the 1% hp loss from the chain then you’re superhuman.

@@unionrdr I don’t think you’re counting hundredths on a vstar 250
Can I swap an O-ring chain with a X-ring chain?
YES! We highly recommend switching as the rider feel and chain life will be greatly improved from an O-Ring chain.
How about ervt?
