@ChrisSullivan69 I hope I'm able to build something with that kind of attention to detail one day, ideally a cobra but with the price of them might have to settle for redoing my gt one day if money gets right

Never ceased to be amazed of how I can always learn sonething new from others... I was an auto technician for both Lexus and Porsche for about half of my career. As well as having a degree in automotive technology. With that, it makes sense that I may not know that you can cut a linear spring without affecting the spring rate (we never worked with aftermarket products or modified customers cars in that fashion from a dealership perspective) plus im pretty sure the bulk of what I dealt with were progressive. However, cheers to that brotha. It's always nice to learn new things. And frankly a lil ashamed that I never realized that with the basis of engineering behind both. Some opinions that you didn't ask for... I would 2 side tape the "good luck charm" snake on the coolant tank in place of the sticker. That would give it a premium look and he will be in sight and in mind. I would have kept the old LED 3rd brake light. It could have been repurposed somehow with a lens replacement... Or maybe that's my inner pack rat talking 😐 there's a company in Texas (i think named Car Craft) that can re-do your steering wheel in sued like your seats and thread the color of the exterior in OEM like quality. They did my 95 mustang wheel and it's awesome. It cost a decent chunk tho. 2 finger Gap is plenty low and it will allow the suspension room to work. I would definitely put the isolator in the D/S. i like the older style windshield wipers, they are period correct and look better imo. Man this thing looks great, good job bro. 💪🏆
@@ralphowens4510 did the housing break? I didn't catch that. If the LED panel inside still worked, transparent red lens material could be used for some other purpose... Maybe a high Mount brake light?

I am very sorry for your Mom’s passing Chris. One person I know said it helped him to not say that he lost his Mom; she just lives in another zip code now and he’ll see her again.🙂
chris - if you are ever looking for an alternative way to refinish certain plastic exterior trim parts on cars that can sometimes lead to a longer lasting and more appealing appearance (not to say your work doesnt look good by any means), try taking a heat gun to them. i used to work at a high end detail shop a around 2015ish and we were doing dealership detailing as well - anyways one of the dealerships we did work for was volvo and their older models would have tons of faded plastic on the exterior on the bumpers and such, and one day i was messing around with the heat gun and learned that you can basically "melt away" the top layer of faded plastic exposing the "fresh" plastic underneath. this worked on a few other models and parts including faded cowl pieces like you refinished on the mustang. all automotive plastic is not created equal so i dont know that every piece would react that way but i cant remember a vehicle that i tried refinishing with this method that didnt come out looking 95% better than beforehand
For cameras - I work for a large automotive company. Our videographers use mostly Sony Products. I managed to buy their old Sony A6300 camera. They currently use Sony A7III (A73) cameras with 18-55mm zoom lenses for videos. They also use 85mm prime, and 105 prime lenses (Non zooming lenses) for photos. The A7iii cameras tend to be a bit pricey not including lenses. Definitely end goal type of camera. If you're looking to spend
Good job man, it looks great. You keep up this quality, in depth, information filled DIY content without going bonky like every other channel, and you're gunna be huge!
Hey Chris, Love the videos, you do such a great job on all your cars, only wish that you made more videos, keep up the good work, with respect from Australia
Thank God this thing got some suspension "mods"! I was getting worried!! Looks good, rear maybe needs a 1/2" lower- remove the isos in rear and it will be perfect, wrap in Gorilla tape if worried about noise with no isos....I have run no isos on several 96-04 cars and never had any noise or rattles from them not being installed.
The Insta360 is great shoots. Insta has many different cameras that will be more than adequate for what you need. Plus it kind of comes with its own editing suite. very cool.
Trick to tighten your steering wheel wrap. Soak it in distilled water over night, then dry it with a heater. I just place them in a cardboard box (lay Box on side open top face toward heater)and have a space heater blow in it until completely dry. It will tighten it up like factory.
Sorry for your loss brother!! I know your pain but she’s in a better place now! As far as your camera question goes. My gf just got me the canon g7x mark iii and it’s so badass!!
