The thing I love about this channel is he is not spending 20 minutes trying to sell you his merchandise and giveaways and give you 10 minutes of content old-school channel that's what we want
Beyond happy for you Chris. The car sounds amazing again and you nailed the stance. That’s probably the nicest terminator out there right now. Have a great Memorial Day 🇺🇸👊🏻👋🏻
Man is she sounding sweet, fully confident you fixed the those problems, and your breaking it in the right way, loving the exhaust notes, plus the unique sounds of a face plated trans. This has been a long journey on the mechanical side, but you are coming out on the other side, now we wait to see what magic you do to the exterior.
that little rant about the threads at 7:00 +\- reminded me of me back when i used to work on crap in my garage , now i'm older fat and lazy so i just watch other people struggle on youtube ... much less stress
The jive turkeys….lol. I laugh and giggle to myself exactly the same way every time I hit the gas in my Cobra, NEVER gets old. Nice job bro, sounds good.
OMG, watching you talk to yourself while fighting that 02 sensor killed me! Can't tell you how many of those conversations i've had with myself. "Do this one small thing, it'll be easy. You idiot, nothings ever easy, why god, why??!!" is usually how my conversations go, with a few expletives thrown in. Thank you for posting that, it's one more reason I love your content. It's so RELATABLE! Keep working and I'll keep watching, thanks Chris!
Dude it came out fantastic. You say paint correction..........to me it looks flawless. I've commented on past videos saying I have a sonic blue f250 6.8 v10 and damn dude I wish my paint looked as good at that. I'm a diehard ford guy and sonic blue is by far my favorite color ford put out.
Hey man. I understand the frustration and disappointment you had with this car. Remember, she was put thru hell and definitely needed the attention you've been giving her. So, if nobody has said it yet, THANK YOU for giving her a new lease on life. Can't wait to see what else you have in store. Great channel, and keep on keeping on brother. 🤘✊️
I built a 5.0 stroker 2 Valve years ago. 15lbs of boost. It smoked for a few hundred miles. 500 mile break in. No smoke. Dyno 535 RWHP. Ran that motor for 15 years running low 11’s. I think if it puffs now it’s rings that are not fully seated yet. Unfortunately my oil pump crapped out. Just built another 5.0 stroker with a 3.2 Kenne Bell goin on. Love the channel. My Dyno guess on your set up 572rwhp! Respectfully Last 2V Runner!
Great job getting her back together and running. Didn't doubt u not one bit brother. Anyways great content as usual. What's its all about is to go fast and not importantly have Fun. Much love to ya from Maryland❤❤❤ oh and another thing is you do some amazing freaking work bro. I just wanted to tell u that. The more I watch ur videos the more I'm like damn Chris really does know what he's doing and is always making it look simple lol. Keep it up Chris.
I know this car has been kicking your ass Chris but let me tell you it doesn’t go unappreciated. From car guys that love good car content to guys who are watching you patiently repairing and restoring a terminator the way it should be. Your pain is felt my friend, I always love watching your content Chris keep up the phenomenal work!!
Very nice build. I’ve never really been brand specific as I’ve always like both the Mustang and the Camaro and believe each had the better years and generations. Great music choice too lol.
That transmission is so loud🤣🤣🤣 Whatever, it eats the horsepower like nothing!!! I love this car!!! With the solid rear diff and the supercharged 4v 4.6, it's like a Mach 1/Terminator hybrid! Very cool car! I'm so glad you've put the time and effort into it!!👍👍 I can honestly say, this is my favorite car on the Internet 😃😃😃👍👍👍
People used to swap solids in these all the time back in the day it isn't like some rare mod that people don't know about it was one of the go to mods if you drag race. It's alot lighter and more simple.
"Do the right thing, clear the codes, and see if they come back." That's hilarious. It reminded me of Derek from Vice Grip Garage. You're getting good at pulling and reinstalling motors on new edges.
Just throwing it out there for viewers as part of a build or maintenance. I highly recommend changing valve cover grommets, check valve, vent and lines to the booster for high mileage or cars that sat for years. Be surprised how much better brakes are with soft rubber that isnt leaking. Thanks for the great videos.
I’ve been watching this build from beginning till now and I think the motor starting up this time is went way smoother and I think this was some of your best work bro can’t wait to see what’s next 🫡
Your vids are the best, it’s awesome getting to tag along with you through the entire journey of these cars. I always look forward to seeing your project update vids getting posted.
I'm a Subaru STI owner and still love watching your channel. Glad you got her back on the road! I enjoy working on all types of cars. I hope you hook up your boost gauge too.
Motor in motor out but after all that, all seems well! I would have lost my patience 6 months ago,but than again....SQUIREL lol Well done Chris! Enjoy it before you sell it cause I KNOW you will! Good luck to the new owner
The music in the start reminds me of the code blue cam youtube channel lol... from west central wisconsin my mind went there. Beyond that amazing content again, best channel on TH-cam Chris, 💯 love for your channel
Love your sonic blue Cobra. Really admire your ability to take the car apart and put it back together, truly. I really wish i'd have learned how so i could work on my own terminator in the same way Sonic blue is such a great color on that terminator
We just went through the same thing with my son’s mustang after putting some long tube headers on this weekend. However, I drove an hour away just to pick up some Motorcraft 02 sensors. You are such a stickler for perfection!!! It killed me to see you get an aftermarket sensor 😓
thanks for not giving up on the old girl she did test ya and I'm happy to hear your gonna get back to the Merc too, cant wait for the paint correction and detail please tell me you are correcting the window tint too the back window looks terrible in the driving footage.
My absolute favorite channel to visit. Chris is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and has the right taste in vehicles as far as I'm concerned. We need a CTSV COUPE PROJECT. 2011-24 😅
Love the content man! Beautiful country up there. I know it probably sucks in the winter but this is the perfect time for that place I imagine! In Texas right now, it’s just ball sweat daily.
Thoroughly enjoyable video. Lots of work for Chris but it makes for great content. Hopefully this fix is the charm! You really need at least 500 miles to be sure. Then you can put the boost to it. I am at the same point with my 03 Cobra's new engine too. Good Luck!
Great stuff, man. The sarcastic "it'll be done in a jiff" stuff sounds like my wife. "This should only take about 20 minutes." She checks on me 2 hours later and half the car is apart.
The car was tuned with a bent valve. So it would probably need another quick tune to make sure the mix is correct across the board and all the cylinders. I would imagine that would take care of any bit of smoking that still exists.
Another great video bud, that gearbox sounds terrible. If it is still smoking it is probably all the valve guides that need replacing. Can't wait for content on the AMG and the Lightning.
👍 You know, I really like seeing guys build and show a little bit of frustration. The mild shit talking to ones self as you curse a part and yourself. Lets us know, despite your incredible work, no one is immune to throwing a wrench from time to time.
One thing you forgot to do and that is to reset the odometer back to 000000 because you literally rebuilt that engine. Oh and thanks for the info on that handheld light. Picked up one from Harbor Freight last week.
Chris great video!!! I appreciate how much you know mechanically. I don’t have the tools to do what you just demonstrated on this video!!!! Question for you: why did you go with a 180*F thermostat as opposed to a 170*F thermometer? Trying to understand all the details. Cheers‼️👍👊💪🇺🇸
Love your work keep up the great content.not sure if i saw it correctly, but you might be having oil smoke do to the pcv system routine.I normally plug the bottom of the intake manifold and put breather or a catch can in the valve covers.just might be your smoking problem.
That thing sounds awesome!!!! Great job man, love the videos. Dang man, you may have to start buying O2 sensors in bulk or get a sponsorship from NTK. Dang the luck man.
lol to be fair they are all pretty much made in the same plants. The Clarios plant I do contract work at does AC delco, Mopar, motorcraft, Toyota, interstate, and a few others I can’t remember off hand.
MAN! That’s a beautiful car! Great content! My thing now is instead of watching on my phone, I have a Roku device and I watch on my Television just like any other show! It’s great!😎
The thing I love about this channel is he is not spending 20 minutes trying to sell you his merchandise and giveaways and give you 10 minutes of content old-school channel that's what we want
Well said, I agree.
You mean you don't want to fire on his prize pics, and see his psychiatrist from better help, or try an imitation vape from fume?
This channel will blow up and I hope he gets sponsors to support him, I’ll listen to a quick promo to get more of this content!
💯 Agreed!!!👊🏻👍🏻
Just works hard and shows the fruit of his labor. ✝️🤌🏻
The monologue while dealing with the O2 sensor is all too relatable...
FRIGGIN THING WAS PISSING ME OFF
I've said it before and I will say it again. I know when someone has made it in life when they have a 2 post in their garage!
Some of the best car content on the tube.. keep up the great work, brother.
Appreciate it man! Enjoy 🤙

4:33 , the Chris Sullivan beat. Also great last name.
What a dope package the SVT lightning and the SVT Terminator cobra, what a pair take a picture of them two together.
I love how you work on this like it’s your baby, get a whipple supercharger you will love it
Glad to see this frustration ending man! Can’t wait to see the C6 back out!
Chris, I love your never give up attitude, good job on the Mustang...BTW, that shifter would drive me crazy :)

“Back on the road” that put a smile on my face. Can’t wait to watch the video.

So glad she's up and running... Maybe later on, a full exhaust, or at least a axle back
27:35 This Cobra is such a ripper it's doing wheelies in the garage! ;)

Dude, did you go to school for auto mechanics? It's amazing that you have so much automotive knowledge.
Nope! Just got out in the garage and figured it out!
That was a nice 1979 or 80 triumph spitfire on that tow truck!
Cool! Wasn't sure what that was
Chris such a beautiful cobra! Glad you brought her back to life! Fingers crossed everything is good! That wonderful cobra sound never gets old.

A nice subtle SC shout out with the shirt 👍. Had a buddy with a 03 Sonic blue Termi that lived in Pawley’s Island.

You’re gonna need to add a couple more bays to that garage. Since I started watching, you’ve added the 03, C8, SVT-L, a BMW suv.
