I’m embarrassed with the amount of hours I’ve spent watching this content. I was immediately hooked on the channel when I came across it a few months ago. So well done and a joy to watch the transformations of these cars. Keep up the great work and can’t wait to see what is to come in every future video.
@sarge2833 no need to feel embarrassed. I just found his channel around 3-4 months ago. It was the day he posted the first video of this car and I’ve been hooked. Watched all the Cobra videos so far. Now I gotta start with that badass Camaro and Vett. Even though I’m a ford guy, I love and appreciate all American muscle! I’m an early 80’s baby. The fox body is what made me a ford guy. Only Mustang I’d pick over a Terminator or fox is a 65 or 66 GT350. That’s my dream car. But definitely hooked on Chris’s content!
I can't believe how people like Chris don't have millions of subscribers. this is real hard work, high quality video taking, editing and all. this will go down as one of the greatest car TH-cam channels.
Chris, i think it's apparent you have a following of us that wait for your video every Friday, that says a lot about your content, and you as a creator. Thanks again for providing us with another great video. Have a good weekend, see you next week.
That’s cause Chris seems like such a genuine guy and has passion for these cars. For a guy that only has around 60k subs and the amount of comments and likes he gets speaks for itself. I be seeing other channels with like 250k subs not getting this many comments and likes. But that’s beside the point. He makes you pretty much feel like you’re in the garage with him because of how he goes into detail and show everything. Awesome editing, camera work (lots of credit to his lady too), great quality, etc. As big as the car community is, he should and deserves multiple times the subs he currently has.
Absolutely agree. I found his channel because of this car and really hope he keeps the Cobra. I’ll be devastated if he gets rid of it. Unless he wants to be an even more awesome guy and give it to me lol. Not taking away from that badass Camaro and Vett, but this is my favorite car on his channel. The Terminator is probably one of my top 3 dream cars. And to sit here and watch how meticulous and detail oriented he’s been with it makes me want it even more. He knows his way around cars, that’s for sure.
Why WHY does this man not have 1,000,000 subs yet? Honestly one of the absolute most relatable “workin man” TH-camrs in this hobby is the top notch quality videos and less then 60k subs. This should be a crime. Thank you Chris for what you put out. You make the long shifts and storm emergency nights so much more enjoyable when I get some down time. And it don’t hurt that we have the same taste in cars haha. 69 camaro and c6 z are my goals before I turn 40 (well at least one of em) and I’m 37 next week. For now tho my ls swapped fox is pretty damn cherry and use a lot of your ideas when working on it.
Chris is basically this generations Chip Foose for TH-cam. Amazing 👏 wish I knew as much as he's forgotten, I'd be in business. Cheers to this dude for all his hard work 💪🏻 🍺
I love your attention to detail. You're me, just 25 years younger. Keep up the good work...aloha I owned a 69 427/390hp Corvette. When I purchased the car, the motor sat on the ground next to the car. The owners kids used the windshield as a slide. It was the only place on the car that was clean...lol. Me and my best friend restored the car to original condition. He then purchased a 69 Z28 Camaro with the original DZ302 motor with the original 202 heads. We did a frame off resto on it, that thing would scream at 3500 rpm. Funnest car I ever had the pleasure to drive, just not a prestigious as my Vette...lol
What an awesome build. Thanks for creating great content. In a new TH-cam world full of crap supercar content and giveaways, you've brought back the good stuff. A car that's not completely out of reach and your viewers can relate to and enjoy. Keep it up! You're obviously doing well for yourself but you're relatable. 👍
I watch a ton of car content on TH-cam, and I have to say, the attention to detail, your willingness to tackle anything and everything is great to watch. Top notch content too. Keep it up.
The kind of guy you'd want to buy a car from. Very thorough and attention to detail is always on point. Job done right 💯 I'm surprised you didn't hold onto that 20K mile yellow one that you put back on the road. That thing was a gem.
It was really satisfying watching you place the folded up carpet into the car and then unfold it into the right positions. Nice work, as always. Never thought I'd be watching an SVT Cobra restoration but here I am having watched all of your uploads.
Chris i know this cobra is going to look incredible when you are done. Another one of my favorite colors. Have you ever thought about bringing a 10th anniversary cobra to the channel? Maybe Red. WOW 😮 Incredible Chris!
You are moving right along on this one. She's going to be a sweet ride when completed. That Plastx stuff works great on renewing lenses & such. That steering wheel you swapped is neat but seems to have a lot of wrinkles in it....or they just really show on camera.
Dude!! What a transformation! She’s looking better and better with each video. Love to see a great car that’s been used and abused, get a brand new life with a lot of hard work and TLC. At the end, you must do a price breakdown. I think you mentioned it with the yellow Cobra but never posted it. Can’t wait for the next one.
I swear this guy is my spirit animal. Until I found his channel, I thought I was the only person obsessive enough to polish their instrument bezel. The detail on his builds are so meticulous I love it. The best car content on TH-cam hands down.
Chris, my late brother had a 1969 Chevy Camaro Z-28 SS white on white 4 speed w/ black stripes . The factory 302 had a lot of miles but back then it was cool to put in a built 350 small block . No replacement for displacement and the ole stories of the 100 dollar bill on the dash . Yea trust me until he hit 4th you would reach and then be pinned back in the seat . He joined the marines and the car sat in the garage for 4 years and I was to start it regularly but not drive it .. yea right if he had ever found out considering I was to young the have a license . lol. Any why you bring back find memories of us working on vehicles and going to the local drag strip which was a real luxury back in the 70’s trust me . I got see all the greats of the era . Dan Perdone Shirley Muldowney actually wrecked her dragster their . Lots of Funny car greats you name it saw it all . 6 cylinder vettes six 6 one barrel carbs. I remember the ice bags for cooling the intakes . My brother Cecil was so good at shifting gears guy would pay him to drive their cars in the ET class so they wouldn’t break their own time. Yea fun times in Nicholasville Ky. In the 70’s for sure . Block
Try this for the back seats, clip them in their buckles with no one in them and leave it. I did that in my Cobra and it made it look like it was sitting in a dealer showroom.
Tip. When you already have the carpet out. Spray with a degreaser like simple green. Brush it and then pressure wash the entire thing. Hang over a fence to dry. Much easier and better clean than a shampoo machine.
Chris awesome work bro!!! I learned so much watching you repair your interior. I have never attempted that effort. Like all mechanical endeavors the proper tools and equipment makes the job successful. Thanks for sharing!!!! Looking forward to the finished product!!!! Cheers Chris 👍👊💪😎🇺🇸
Loving the series! Fun fact: the cobra steering wheels were actually thicker than the v6/GT wheels. You can visually tell the differences by the stitching on the bottom of the wheels. Cobras have a single stitch at the 6 o’clock mark, others have them at 5 and 7 o’clock
love getting lost in your builds with you love the platform and the way you tie it all together... keep up the great work cant wait for more content....... this car deserves a new Whipple Chris you know you want to lol
Bro you never fail to amaze me on the type of hard work and skill that actually gos into this car and you’re videos , it’s truly unbelievable. TH-cam should recognize and give you an award for something really special. You’re saving a car that was 1 of 1029 I know because I had a sonic blue 03 that I recently just sold in November. Great job bro keep up the amazing work , you really do have the dream garage !
I figured you did sir. You absolutely kill all of your cars when it comes to factory finishes. Keep going and I will continue looking out for new videos.
Man Chris, you’re wrong when you say that interior isn’t showroom condition. You knocked it out the park! You getting this car is how I came across your channel about 3, maybe 4 months ago. The Terminator is one of my top dream cars, especially sonic blue. I’ve been following this whole build. I actually subscribed the day you dropped the first video of this car. You seem like a cool dude and you have some badass cars man. I gotta start catching up on everything else. Keep it up bro! Love the content!
First off just want to say you have the best mechanic restoration videos on TH-cam and love that you're rebuilding a cobra because its my dream car but what's crazy is I live in Lincoln, NE where you found that receipt and that Don and Millies is on O Street which is the biggest cruising street here and hosts Americruise one of the biggest cruises in the country so if you ever look at selling her after you're done I might have to look at bringing her back home to cruise again
Keep the content coming !!! Love how the cars been transforming every video. I can’t believe you found a ticket for cedar beach in Babylon. That’s not that far from where I am !
The 03-04 Terminator Cobra is hands down my favorite car of all time. Watching these videos, along with the previous ones with the yellow Terminator, has made many of my days. The content is legit my man!!!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
You know what is awesome. Chris ? I have those same home depot. Special countertop cut offs In my garage . Left over from the countless. Apartment remodels. I have done in my property management escapades lol
Chris, your videos check all of the boxes for me. Informative, entertaining and at the end of each project satisfaction! I feel a sense of accomplishment when you’re done and I had nothing to do with it. Keep it up!!
"The clutch for example..........." Bwahahahahaha. Been a long road Chris. But the truth is, we all face setbacks and changes to plan with our bikes, cars and trucks. Love the series mate, and seeing how you navigate the setbacks and challenges. Take care.
Great job Chris. The only thing that I can correct is you talking about the 'preforated' material on the wheel and shifter. The word is PERFORATED. I know.. I know. You seem like a perfectionist so take this how it is meant.. with a good heart.
I have to say. You are my favorite channel. Your videos are exactly what I like in a car channel. Cool cars and lots of detail to your builds. Keep up the great work.
Your attention to detail is first class!! Every project turns into my new favorite! This is going to be amazing! Cannot wait until you tackle the exterior.
GREAT JOB CHRIS !! IT LOOKED REALLY DIRTY ,AND LOOKED LIKE IT HADN'T BEEN CLEANED IN MANY YRS !! LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE HOW THE EXTERIOR WILL SHINE !!! KEEP THEM VIDEOS COMING !! JESSE VIA LAS VEGAS
For the seat you can also use some inexpensive single or multiblade face razors, like Bic or something along that line, just ones without the soap bar on them. Or just a brand new straight razor if you happen to have some, for me it gives some better control. Again as stated at your own risk and very carefully
@ChrisSillivan69 this is such an awesome build series thank you. Just starting to watch the one on your Yellow Cobra and thanks for the history of the Cobras and Terminator Cobras.
You could consider putting those original Cobra seats to the side once repaired. Then buy Corbeau FX1 race seats plus a rear seat delete kit. Lose about 75 pounds of weight and get planted for driving through the corners on road or track. Direct bolt on installation with the Corbeau brackets bought too.
Long time, first time. Love the content, Chris, and thanks for a good background video while detailing my '01 Bullitt. People give the SN95 interiors a bad wrap. I've always liked how simple and clean they are when in good shape.
small details like re-orienting the gauges to match the OEM cluster was a nice touch. The content keeps getting better, im hooked for sure. This resto is awesome
Bud, I absolutely love your style and attention to details on bringing the Termi back to life. Every time I find myself getting slacking, I watch your video and it motivates me to get back at it! Keep doing what you do and thank you 👊🏻
Your a man of many talents. Amazing at solving problems and trouble shooting as well. Your filming and editing skills are top notch as well. Hope your channel blows up as it should!
I’ve been watching since your first video. Great job! You’re one of fort to really save one of these Termi’s and you’ve done a great job by keeping it all original. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
What an amazing transformation whew my only wish is that you had a white shift knob with the blue cobra insignia in there too I'm not a fan of the factory shift knobs but damn you knocked it out of the park.
Great job u did with this 🐍 , but one thing if you just put some noise cancellation before you put back the floor carpet they’ll reduce 90% of noise, heat , cold that comes from the outside when u drive ,, but overall excellent work 👌🏼
Gosh dangit Chris, Im trying to get to work and Im over here watching you work your magic. Im one step closer to getting my boosted 2v running again, this is like jet fuel for motivation. Keep it up!
I always wanted a 2004 sonic blue cobra, i was looking back in 2007 but couldnt find that color and ended up with the 2003 Torch red Mach 1. Loved that car but always wamted that supercharger whine. These videos bring me back. Still love that car man and love this series watching it become basically brand new. Waiting for my 2024 GT to be built and shipped to me right now. Cant beat the sounds of mustangs!
Freaking awesome, you always make the right repairs and the right choice in replacement parts and/or mods. Everything turned out mint like factory, very awesome it gives us ideas what to do to our New Edge Mustang. As far as the new drinking game I'm about 6 or 7 beers in.
hey Chris, Awesome reference on the radiator cover.. left a wrench on mine a year or two back and cracked my original one. looked up the part number and found a new one 🤙🏽🤝🏽
Man Chris, all you do is always next level. Like the way you work we see the passion for sure. And it's not give to everyone to live there passion. So as always OEM ++ car pretty nice incredible the change on this one. I know solid axle is good for drag but for a street car IRS coming from factory are a must for the Mustang ! What's happening in NH middle of winter and it's look like the spring !!!
New drinking game: Drink every time I say "Ties the interior together"
Currently at work, but i accept!
The Dude abides
@@Treymoneyyysame 😂
I wanna say it’s a little early for that, but it’s gotta be past 5 somewhere
@@cqlvxn1863 can't drink all day if you don't start early
This will go down in history as the most in-depth and thorough "clutch job" ever accomplished.
😂😂😂 Facts, great video though. I love the build I’m excited for the Mercedes content coming soon!
lots of "might as well"
@gdb5448 that ain’t no lie 😂💯 but you gotta give it to Chris, he for sure knows what he’s doing and does a hell of a job doing it!
I’m embarrassed with the amount of hours I’ve spent watching this content. I was immediately hooked on the channel when I came across it a few months ago. So well done and a joy to watch the transformations of these cars. Keep up the great work and can’t wait to see what is to come in every future video.
Glad you enjoy it!
The C6 is what sucked me in to the channel. Now I think have a man crush on Chris 😂😂😂
Imagine if we instead worked on our own car..... It might actually be done!
Overrated 😂
@sarge2833 no need to feel embarrassed. I just found his channel around 3-4 months ago. It was the day he posted the first video of this car and I’ve been hooked. Watched all the Cobra videos so far. Gotta agree and the video quality is top notch. Not bad for a one man show.
I can't believe how people like Chris don't have millions of subscribers. this is real hard work, high quality video taking, editing and all. this will go down as one of the greatest car TH-cam channels.
Appreciate it bro🤝
I don't understand it either. Between the car knowledge & the video skills, this channel is top-notch!
Chris continues to be underrated but I am glad to be one his supporters
I agree with you 100%!!
I was about to leave pretty much the exact same comment.
Chris, i think it's apparent you have a following of us that wait for your video every Friday, that says a lot about your content, and you as a creator. Thanks again for providing us with another great video. Have a good weekend, see you next week.

Thank you for the correct pronunciation of “ CONsole”! Drives nuts too. Awesome videos and love your work! Keep it rolling!👍😎
The irony of his pronunciation of *perforated had me chuckling though.
Mustang is looking great! Can’t wait for the exterior transformation!
You and me both!
I love your attention to detail. You're me, just 25 years younger.

Nice video as usual. Whoever did the wrap job on that steering wheel should never be allowed to do that again 😂. It’s horrendous.

I did that in my Cobra and it made it look like it was sitting in a dealer showroom.
Looks great! I love your videos on this car. Can’t wait to see the paint correction. You should shampoo the seat centers too.
i’ve watched every video on this build and can’t get enough. can’t wait to see what’s next for this !! maybe some OEM svt cobra rims?! 👀
Man - I love me a fellow Sonic Blue Cobra but that Camaro - Goddamn!!!!!
Love this channel man. It's gotten really good the past few months. It's better than Alex's channel now. Thank you for pumping out these episodes!
As in legit streets cars? For working in his garage and not a semi legit shop this is way better
Im really looking forward to the exterior detailing, that paint will glow once you are done with it
Tip. When you already have the carpet out. Spray with a degreaser like simple green. Brush it and then pressure wash the entire thing. Hang over a fence to dry. Much easier and better clean than a shampoo machine.

Hmm no shit, didn't know that!
I love that you took the time to polish the plastic face of the gauge cluster. Nothing more annoying to me than a scratched up one!
Agreed!
Absolutely love the channel and am certain it will grow. The music, not so much.
I loved watching this go from a "budget" build, to a balls to the walls beauty
love getting lost in your builds with you love the platform and the way you tie it all together... keep up the great work cant wait for more content....... this car deserves a new Whipple Chris you know you want to lol
Great job on the interior clean up, cant wait to see what you do on t he exterior I know your work is excellent!
I am always on the watch for new videos from this channel.
Love how thorough you are! Taking the gauges cluster out is over the top. The buyer will love the over all cleanliness!!!

I get Giddy over paint correction videos, especially with such an electric color like the Sonic Blue. 👍

Appreciate it!
Bud, I absolutely love your style and attention to details on bringing the Termi back to life. Every time I find myself getting slacking, I watch your video and it motivates me to get back at it! Keep doing what you do and thank you 👊🏻
Awesome! Glad to hear it
Killing it love the content bro
That car could not have fallen in better hands. Stellar job man
Thanks!
Can’t beat that tuff stuff carpet cleaner.
Agreed!
As always Chris, you do great work. I’m enjoying the new project. Look forward to the next video.
Need matte black "COBRA" inlays to "tie the exterior together"! 😂
BTW "the clutch" 😎 was good!
What an amazing transformation whew my only wish is that you had a white shift knob with the blue cobra insignia in there too I'm not a fan of the factory shift knobs but damn you knocked it out of the park.
Great job u did with this 🐍 , but one thing if you just put some noise cancellation before you put back the floor carpet they’ll reduce 90% of noise, heat , cold that comes from the outside when u drive ,, but overall excellent work 👌🏼
Really a fantastic transformation. Looks totally different
Hell yeah!!! From 20k subscribers to almost 60k in a very short period of time!!! Keep up the great content Chris!! Happy to see the channel grow!
Appreciate it!
True artists are rarely seen as great technicians. Chris is definitely both
🤝
A Little tip with Suède/Alcantara a ligth sanding with some 800 grit and it will restore the fibers
I did that in the video. Works great!
Chris you always seems to amaze us with your set of skills interior looks great bro can't wait til next Friday. Have a wonderful weekend.
Bonus dog content! ♥️🐾
Love your work and attention to detail. Always tasteful. 👍
Thank you very much!
Shhhheeeeeessss
The cobra is looking immaculate
Im in love with the transformation
Good stuff man
Looks great! Love to see her without tint as getting to see the inside personally it makes a car pop ✊
Freaking awesome, you always make the right repairs and the right choice in replacement parts and/or mods.
Everything turned out mint like factory, very awesome it gives us ideas what to do to our New Edge Mustang.
As far as the new drinking game I'm about 6 or 7 beers in.
Solid Friday night pre-game
Incredible attention to the details.
how does this dude not have at least one friend helping him???
Nothing gets done when my friends come over lol
hey Chris, Awesome reference on the radiator cover.. left a wrench on mine a year or two back and cracked my original one. looked up the part number and found a new one 🤙🏽🤝🏽
Awesome!
That steering wheel looks amazing what a transformation of the interior, great job once again...
I found going up to a 1500 sandpaper really helped as a final step in the suede inserts. Mine were thrashed like yours and now they’re butter smooth
