I am not very familiar with Keynote on the iPad. It is quite different than the desktop version. I have installed on my device and I will play around with it and see what I can find out.
This whole process is done on an Apple computer. All of the programs used to create this animation are built in to the iMac operating system. The images of the maps just come from either Apple Maps or Google, I have used both. Capture the image with a utility called "Screenshot". The program I use to create the animation is called Keynote. Thanks for your comment. If you find that let me know it would be less work.
Great video on how to create animated maps! One questions though, can I do this on iCloud version of Keynote? I don't have a Mac so I only have access to the iCloud version. Thanks!
I Tried to replicated the map in iCloud. I could not find the "Draw with Pen" feature or the Line Draw animation. So I don't think so. Thanks for your comment it was a good question.
@@BikeBoatandTravel Thank you for the reply, just want to make sure I wasn't missing something.
I does not appear so. This has perked my interest though.
Great job!
Thanks!
amazing bro
Thanks for watching this....
Very helpful. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for you interest in my channel
Hey man that was super helpful! 👌 I only have one question. If I do this and place it in a video for my channel are there any copyright infringement issues?
Please use it freely no copyright issues. It is done with software that comes with all iMacs. I am glad you found it useful. I watched your video from Devil's Lake... My wife and I stopped at another entrance to that park at Little Gull Lake off Deep Bay road on Thanksgiving weekend for lunch on the bike. (Link below). We found some cool mushrooms there also 👍 Cheers from Fenelon Falls 🇨🇦

@@BikeBoatandTravel awesome. I hope you enjoyed it enough to check out more of them. 🙂 keep in mind I am still learning how the filming and editing works.
How can I use the insert in iPad?I can't find it there
I am not very familiar with Keynote on the iPad. It is quite different than the desktop version. I have installed on my device and I will play around with it and see what I can find out.
Tks! Really nice...
Thank you, I appreciate your interest in the channel.
Hi,
can you please explain and tell me how do you make the Screenshot movie? What program do you use to film all what you are doing on your PC screen?
This whole process is done on an Apple computer. All of the programs used to create this animation are built in to the iMac operating system. The images of the maps just come from either Apple Maps or Google, I have used both. Capture the image with a utility called "Screenshot". The program I use to create the animation is called Keynote. Keynote is the Apple equivalent of Power Point. I use Quicktime Player to capture the video and the audio clips. All of the editing of the tutorial presentation in done in Davinci Resolve (available for PC also). I hope this answers your question and thanks for your interest in my channel.
@@BikeBoatandTravel Thank you very much. It was really helpful :D
@@BikeBoatandTravel Who makes the utility called "Screenshot" you mention? Great tutorial.
@@beingfilipino Screenshot is a utility that comes included in the iMac operating system. Thanks for your comment and your interest in my channel.
Do we not get copy right issues with this if we use it in TH-cam videos ? Like we get in Google maps?
Thanks for your comment. I have done tutorials like this using both Apple Maps and Google Maps and so far I have had no complaints. My channel is not monetized so I am not benefiting financially from the videos. Thanks for your interest in my channel. 👍🇨🇦
Thank You !!
Happy you found it helpful.

Can you do it same on iPad pro
This a good question. I do not have an iPad Pro but I tried it in an iPad Air. You would probably need to have the pencil to do a good job of the lines. Thanks for you interest in the channel.
love it
Thanks for watching my channel.
