The very first time to visit your channel and can not leave but instead hit like and subscribe. I recently got a new iPad pro and now trying to learn how to use the apps provided. Really appreciate your teaching about keynote.
Thanks so much and hope it helps. I will add the disclaimer that my videos are all done with the desktop version of keynote as the app version has a lot less features.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’m just getting into using keynote ( transitioning from PP), and by far, this is the best channel that is very detailed on how to use keynote. I’m a beginner, and after watching your first video, I think I can create much better presentations soon. Keep up the great work.
I cannot thank you enough for this and all of your talks on keynote. You have transformed my skills from none to slightly competent in a short time. But more importantly, you have given me the confidence to keep expanding my knowledge and skill set! Please keep going with this stuff!
Hey Stephen. I just want to say a huge thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial series and sharing your knowledge with us! It's absolutely amazing! 💯
All I can say is AWESOME! This is a very easy to follow yet in-depth tutorial! You really have a gift for teaching. My brain works overtime of all the possibilities I see with Keynote. This takes presentations to a whole notha level. Thanks for sharing!👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Really enjoyed that presentation. I'm a long time Mac user but have never had to use Keynote until now and your introduction was just what I was looking for. Thank you.
This is really helpful. I like how you broke this down and kept it simple, but planted the seeds of extra. When you are learning a new program it can be overwhelming and you've both educated me and inspired me to move forward once I'm comfortable with the basics. Thank you for teaching an old dog new tricks :)
This was Crazy-good. I've been working on presentations with some success, this video uncovered some keys for me (e.g. outlining text, character spacing, slide vs element transition).
Nice presentation. A little speedy in places, but still understandable for a new user (me). Thank you for taking the time to share some great tips and general knowledge about this nice tool.
Hi, I am watching your channel and your presentation skills in Keynote are amazing. Thanks for the many hints, tips and tricks. Where did you find the Riverhack font? Thank you in advance for your reply and I send greetings from the Czech Republic.
Stephen , what are some reasons why my recent slides aren’t being saved? I noticed a message saying my old copy of keynote has been updated. Wonderful tutorials. 🙏
Thank you very much appreciate you sharing this. I'm going to try these techniques for video live streaming graphics and particularly lower thirds. Is there a way to output via NDI?
I haven't used it that way before. Only thing I could think of would be to output the video with a background color you could key out or create an alpha for to make the lower third.
26:40...Right click object, make editable , then top edge slightly down and bottom edge too. The object floats in spacey. My English is not so perfect!,, greeting from Berlin 🇩🇪 👍
Question: I want to know how to insert my "video narration" that goes with my presentation, which I created separately, from my Keynote presentation so I am talking through the slides and have the ability to move the narration window around the slides so I can either have the narration video at full screen, narration video at the bottom of the slide and lastly make the narration window "round" instead of "square". Do you have a video that shows these design techniques?
Do you know how to solve the trick with "shrink text to fit"? when you add a new text box that is not by default in the master slide the "shrink text to fit" option doesn't appear.
@@StephenGates Thanks. For keynotes, we don't need a lot of text on slides, but for presentation to give away for reading, having a text box with "shrink to fit" and one with none, it kills text size consistency. Would be nice also a masterclass on how to create customised master slides to speed up our presentation process.
Re: digital planner creation: why are all templates in landscape rather than portrait mode? The most natural thing in the world is to hold an iPad in one hand. Not sideways. At least the iPad mini.

Thank you for your great videos! Could you make a video on how you made the animation that is shown at 11:32?
Stephen , what are some reasons why my recent slides aren’t being saved? I noticed a message saying my old copy of keynote has been updated. Wonderful tutorials. 🙏
@ 21:56 you scroll over a geometry option in your shapes. Where did that come from, and do you know why I haven't got it?? Thanks for the video.
You using the desktop or iPad version? You have the Shapes dropdown in your top menu bar?
Thanks, really well done. Can you layer audio and edit the volume:
That would be something more for iMovie or Final Cut Pro as keynote can not do something like that.
Apologies Stephen, found those pesky slides in copy deck. Lovin the content 👍

How do we archive a completed Keynote project for future use ?
Looking for how to add text to slides
Hi. How to write text in a circle Please.
Masterfull
Thanks!
how can I insert music from a finale file???
👍👍👍
Do you know how to solve the trick with "shrink text to fit"? when you add a new text box that is not by default in the master slide the "shrink text to fit" option doesn't appear.
I think that they look that feature out as I Javen't seen that in a while but let me double check.

@@uxcolin6303 The video on working with Master Slides is in the works.
@@StephenGates amazing, thanks!
@@StephenGates hey, how you use the double highlighter (zooming in and out on particular text).

I dont have my toolbar like you have man.

That intro BS makes this a thumbs down. But I appreciate all the rest.
