Ah man one other thing, be careful to keep some money or rune to use to buy all from the nomadic merchant that you see around, sometimes you find scrolls about secrets zones or items, and one item that should ever be in your inventory is the stone sword key, too much time happen that i find places to use it and I had 0, try to buy all that you can
Make use of your map, it will allow you to find interesting things to do in the lands between, such as structures, caves, and villiages. This might help negate the loss of direction you faced. Otherwise though, you have improved very well, and as result you will certainly become the Elden Ring Warrior!!!
Love your work, best ER play through I have seen. Not knowing what you are doing and bouncing around is the game, just be thorough in your exploration. Oh, be sure to try other weapons, there are many play styles, and damage types. The fang can get a little repetitive. Thank You!
Haven't finished the video yet, but just so you know, spells (which scale with intelligence) need a staff, while incantations (which scale with faith) need a seal.
Oh and also, make sure to get those white flowers in catacombs because you need them to level up your summons if you want them to do any real damage + have good health.
Correction: the types of spells don’t determine what they scale with. Only what kind of weapon you need. It’s the weapons themselves which determine the scaling, and there are seals which scale with int and staffs which scale with daith

If you're struggling with figuring out where to go in Liurnia, I would recommend checking back in with the Meeting Place Map that you found at 17:47. It is in your inventory now, and it should lead you in the right direction! :)
@@neverbeforegg my own method when I first went through liurnia was clinging to the cliifs to look for caves or the likes. maybe check the map for any notable features and check them out.
@@neverbeforegg And more broadly speaking, there are lots of tunnels, dungeons, etc. in Liurnia. But most of them are either in cliffsides or on the land above, not in the giant lake in the middle.
I've said this before on another of your posts, but as a Souls veteran, and someone who has consumed pretty much all of the content available for all of these games, and followed many streamers and their journeys, I must say this series has been one that I look forward to the most. It makes me want to start Elden Ring again, from the perspective of a new player. It's nearly impossible to ignore all the knowledge I've gathered over the years, but I have found that it still can be done. Keep up the series my friend, I look forward to following it to the end!
One thing that people probably mentioned already, different greases are effective against different enemies. Fire enemies are not something you'd wanna attack with fire grease, for example. Also, you can buff and stuff BEFORE going into a boss fog too, you don't lose much time and you aren't standing defenseless at the start.
Actually, that's often not true, about fire not being good on fire bosses. A surprising amount of the time, in this game, bosses are weak to the very thing that they deal. You would think it would be the other way around. But no.
I recommend checking for any square or round shapes on your map and following roads, if you don't know what to do. That is how usually you find points of interest. For example, "grey circles" are evergaols, a rectangle is usually a Church of Marika, and an orange "hole" is a mine with lots of smithing stones.
I wan legit so sad when I discovered that on my first playthrough. Because a lot of the fun with exploration was gone when I knew where to find smithing stones 😅
They are the epitome of an enemy that scares you worse than it fights. I'd run away from them or cheese them too- in the DLC I just fought the fuckers and they really aren't too bad. Don't let them get in your head! Perfect example in this video, well done.
You have an interesting personality. I can tell you performatively speak a lot but it’s hilarious for me when the cracks break and your unfiltered self comes out for a second Lol, like when you were fighting Kindred. Keep it going! I’ll share a couple tips with you that are spoiler-free. - Your incantations scale with your Faith stat (usually). The weapon scaling is given letter grades on ur equip screen. Leveling up the sacred seal will also help which you’ve done. - You collected a Great Rune from Godrick earlier but haven’t activated it. If you get bored, take a closer look thru Stormveil Castle. - i too found Liurnia to be awfully open-ended, but there are some notable points of interest. You were right next to one in the Pot Town and Gold Boi on the east coast. You received a map earlier, that will lead you to your next big adventure. Finally, on the west coast and in the northeast there are a couple of large attractions. - Your map can reveal a lot even with nothing discovered. Notice the thick roads and prominent drawings. The roads will almost always lead you to somewhere interesting. - Finally, consider investing in a strike weapon. Those non boss boys that seemed tough actually just heavily resist your slashing weapon, they are made of rock after all (even tho that doesn’t always matter with a weapon as strong as BHF). A mace or hammer would be helpful when slash doesn’t cut it, preferably one with some Dexterity scaling That’s all… good luck!
Do not stop posting this series! WHATEVER YOU DO keep at this! This is content my dude. I love how its so diametrically opposed to for instance Skumnut's content. I love the dorky and cringe stuff you say like "you are mine" and the sense of wonder and happiness you show. While hilarious, this community has a tendency to give unhelpful advice like "git gud" and "you know you can beat him with your fists lvl 1 right?" and it's nice to see someone who goes into this like it's a fun video game.
Re: the identity of the statue man; we call him Elden John and the lore community would dearly love to know literally anything about him too. He doesn't seem to be mentioned in writing so all we have are context clues about his mysterious statues. He's both infuriatingly absent and all over the damn place.
Remember to go back to stormveil Castle and go to the devine Tower there You can activate your rune arc for better abilities then. Go through the main gate of the castle. Good video as always mate. Keep them coming. 😀
@@neverbeforegg Nice! Just remember about the massive crossbow things at the main gate. 😅. You can go around, but I always find it more of a challenge to try and roll past haha.
Pro tip: you can only truly kill a skeleton if you wait for them to start reanimating and hit them once more, or do holy damage which kills the first time
Pro tip #2: most catacombs have boss doors close to the beginning so that if you die after pulling the lever you'll only have to take out a few enemies before getting to/retrying the boss.
@@jasliketheflower You mean NPC's (non-player characters) , not NCO's (Non-Commissioned Officers, i.e. Sergeants and Petty Officers). NCO's have inexhaustible dialogue.
As for Dragonkin hitbox: some enemies are straight up easier to hit if you don't use the lock on option. So if it seems like your attacks are missing even though they should not, try locking off and using your joysticks for attack aiming.
@@neverbeforegg It's something you should get used to for the larger fights. Often locking on/locking off is something you should learn to do regularly
I too just started Elden Ring the other day and it’s my very first souls game as well. I’m having decent fun with it and not dying as much as I thought I would. Great video
Watching you videos are so refreshing. The pure enjoyment of a first time player is super exciting. I was just like you. Never played a souls game. And took me well over 120 hours to finally beat the game. Keep going it only gets better. Pro tip. Look for a dragon in Liurina. The key you seek is behind him. GG’s
Loving this series man, keep having fun in the lands between! Theres so much to explore that if you ever feel lost, pick a road and go, that's my method 😅
Also keep going up from where you found the knight with the prayer book. You'll find a teacher that you can give the prayer book to, and can learn some incantations up there.
Excellent progress so far, this has been a great series and your presentation style keeps things fresh. Just as an fyi there are more secrets around Limgrave yet to be found.
Top tip: different enemies are vulnerable to different damage types. For example anything "brittle" is vulnerable to "strike" damage which you usually get from maces and hammers. This includes: gargoyles, golems, giant ants, crystallians, miners, and animated skeletons. Undead and miners are also vulnerable to Holy damage, so I usually put Holy Blade on a morningstar to have a backup weapon that solves two problems at once.
Love you Videos! The smithing stone bell bearing you got from the crystallian lets you buy as many smithingstone 1 and 2's as you want at the roundtable hold as long as you have the runes. Those Bell bearings are scattered all around Caves or Special Areas, very useful if you want to try out multiple weapons. But most important, have fun with the game!
1:06 people were talking about the bloodstain you can see right there on the ground, it's an extra piece of information for a certain NPC's quest but not necessary!
There is a neat interaction you might've missed there. The Dragonkin Soldier uses lightning, and the watery arena amplifies its damage and spread. The arena's outer rim is dry, fighting there would lessen such effects. Learned that, this might not be a surprise, but fire also deals less damage in wet areas. These apply when it rains too.
Another great video! I love your commentary style and look forward to watching when a new episode drops! It's always fun to watch someone discover one of these games for the first time, but your videos are particularly well done. Keep up the great work! :)
39:50 in these moments, don't use your special attack with the bloodhounds fang. If it hits, it is really good. If not, it is really slow. Just try to mix it up with normal attacks sometimes.
Just a couple of small hints, but your environment affects the way certain elements work. For example, when you're standing in water, lightning attacks are amplified while fire damage is negated. And, when you're standing in something like poison lakes, or poison spots, rolling through the poison coats your whole body and makes it build up faster than just walking or running through it. The same is true for other types of weird liquids that you will come across in the future. There is so much in Elden Ring to take in that it can all be so overwhelming! I have hundreds of hours in this game and lots of playthroughs and I am STILL finding new things all the time.
Having played this game a lot and also watched others have their first go: Using the camera is the MOST crucial aspect to navigating Elden Ring, if you at times slow down and look around there are always points of interest visible, and every location you can see you can also get to! I'd also spend maybe 10 minutes reading about some of the systems in the game like the Wonderous physick, also two handing your weapon will do much more damage.
Dude I just discovered your channel and I am binge watching your play-through recaps! There is something about your approach to them that is just so god damn entertaining. Also respect for actually being a g gamer
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but look for structures on your map! Things like collections of walls, or caves that look like cigarette burns. If you haven't unlocked the map for the area yet, look for an obelisk in the area and mark it with a waypoint! Just so you can be more comfortable exploring and having an idea of what you might get into!
16:00 The enemies you come across shortly after reading that message are called revenants. For some reason, if you cast an area-of-effect healing incantation while a revenant is in range for the healing, it takes massive damage. I highly recommend not to engage with a revenant by any means other than healing spells.
Hey, loving this series so far! I don't want to spoil anything, but a general suggestion I have is reading item descriptions when you get something unique like a Dragon Heart. There's usually additional info or a hint on what to use the item for. Also, I'm assuming you're going for a Dexterity Build, (bloodhound's fang, curved swords, katanas, etc.) but if you have the Iron Whetblade from Stormveil Castle you can change the affinity of most weapons to Keen, making it scale with Dexterity as it's primary stat. This lets you keep most of your damage as long as you upgrade a new weapon before using it, and is great for variaty. For spells, Sorceries scale with the Intelligence stat, and Incantations scale with Faith. You need the right catalyst to cast them (sorcery staff/incantation seal respectively). If it's Incantations you want, buy the Finger Seal from the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold. Corhyn (the priest guy) in Roundtable sells a lot of support incantations that need only about 10-12 Faith to use. Take a look at them, they're very useful early game. And skeletons need to be hit again while they're down to actually die for real. I hope the advice helps, and good luck on your journey! Edit: Nevermind I saw you figured out the Incantations.
I've seriously enjoyed your Elden Ring videos! A piece of advice, though, you may want to figure out how to hold Bloodhound's Fang in two hands, the weapon will perform better with quicker reaction.
Oh I've been using it with two hands, but switched to one hand so I could use a Seal for my incantations. I will keep playing with it though! Thank you for watching!!
NB, you may want to go back to limgrave and weeping peninsula Theres a few quest lines you havent done (eg: yura, a questline related to the forest area, etc) Theres also 2 big things in weeping peninsula you may want to check out (figuratively and quite literally). The keywords to remember are "clean the leg" and "lumber"
These are great, keep it up, I'm subscribed and keeping an eye out for new episodes. Pretty funny that you got the invisible turtle that everyone has trouble with first and then took ages to find the other two that are basically right on top of you at Oridys Rise. Also, the missing secret that people are referring to in Stormveil is probably the special bloodstain on the ground near that big face (special because it also appears when offline). Check it and see if you recognise the guy...
So Caelid is intended to be a mid-late game area which is why you deal basically no damage to the black blades. Also that health drain effect is called destined death and it drains your health but also caps it out depending on your vigor level
When you enter a region for the first time, try to find yellowish small lantern thing in the map. It is not that hard since the thing is shown on the empty dark background. Those are the pillars you found map at their foot.
Definitely recommend going back into any catacombs to collect any and all of those white flowers I noticed you missed. They are important leveling items and pretty limited until later on if you even find the items to be able to buy them later. But you'll also need to find a specific NPC in Limgrave to use them
Bro, your gameplay looks like you’re exploring on your own just like I did for the biggest part of my first playthrough, which makes you and your videos authentic and wholesome. It also brings nostalgia, goosebumps and tears of joy seeing you advance. I watch your videos and I feel like I’m playing the game for the first time too. You give me an experience I didn’t think I’d ever get again. I’ll support you so you can keep making the videos
Nice going with the Dragonkin soldier. That Bloodhound Fang is THE new player carrier; the L2 hits like a truck and so do it's jump attacks (remember that's option ;) ). Once you find the missing piece of the map, try looking at that map you got from the Academy gate again. That should be the "task" you're looking for, in the area. Cheers!
Welp I really enjoyed your content. Watched the entire video. Thanks for entertaining experience and for sharing us. At the beginning of the video, I couldn't think that you would defeat the dragon in your first attempt when I encountered it killed me so many times, but eventually I succeded in my goal. I think I should have gotten bloodhound's fang to defeat it easily. I felt like I was noob, but it is what it is. I enjoy your elden ring warrior path. I hope, I will see your more of your content.
Here a hint...use your map like a check off list...Every little detail in the map has a purpose and you will be able to get to. The map system has icons for different occasions to mark such finshed, tougher enemy etc etc
Not picking up the flowers in the graves is upsetting. They are single pickups that you use to buff your ash summons. The other thing is if you're going to use greases a lot you should put them on your hotbar so you don't have to go through the equipment sceen each time.
Elden ring has so much extra stuff thrown at you that I understand feeling lost. Best tip is to look at your map and you will see that some of the spots of grace have tails, that's an arrow pointing at the way to progress.
that davey jones monster face hidden deep in stormveil... near it is a bloody spot on the floor. if you investigate that spot, a new friend will appear at the round table, and after talking to them some of the other round table friends will have new things to say.
Fyi : items you give to the husk Maiden at the roundtable hold is how you increase what she sell. For exemple, this one add smithing Stone 1, 2 + glinstone scrap. It's written in item description, you should read it a bit :p
Your UI.. left represents left hand, right represents right hand (bloodhound finesse). You need to go into your weapons / shields / bows / SEALS inventory page, and choose a SEAL and place it in your LEFT hand (currently EMPTY) on this video. Then, you can "use" the urgent heal. It will "light up" instead of being dark, and it'll work.. this is how incantations and scrolls work. Long story short = incantations are used by SEALS and sorceries are used by STAFFS / STAVES.
The best place to take your prayerbooks and scrolls is the turtle priest up at the big church in Liurnia. You'll know him when you find him. :) Since he takes both items, never moves, and is at a site of grace, he is your best one-stop shop. Ainsel River is pretty high level. You can stumble into it when you're totally not ready. Still amazing to explore even when you're not ready to defeat everything there. There is a fire monk camp just up the hill from the Ainsel River lift that has an incantation you will find valuable in certain areas. You're in that area already, so you should check out that camp.
Glad to watch a new chapter of your Elden Ring adventure! Technical information about combat ahead: Those miners you said to be taking too much hits to kill, they have some type of stoneskin and are particularly strong against slashing and piercing attacks. You were also 1-handing your sword, which makes it even weaker to stagger your enemies. The miners can be staggered with charged strong attacks (1H and 2H), or any 2-handed attack, but are even weaker against magic or blunt damage. In the Souls games, when you encounter enemies seemingly resistant to your regular bread-and-butter strategy, you gotta be creative and think about potential weaknesses based on its looks and behavior, and experiment. For example, you probably don't have right now an upgraded blunt weapon to use against the miners, but you could've solved the problem using your Bloodhound Fang still, only needed to 2-hand it, used strong attack and/or coated it with Magic Grease! Probably some of these tips would also work on the slow-boys in Ainsel River. 😉 Another note: The bell-bearing you gave to the Twin Maiden Husks allow you to buy Smithing Stones 1 and 2 directly with them. That it from me, good luck with the journey ahead! 🙋♂
It’s not important:but after killing a boss in a cave/catacomb, the fast travel block is undone so you won’t have to use the teleport if you wanted to go somewhere else
You need to swap to a "seal" to use incantations, which you can buy of the weird twin finger merchants at roundtable hold. (Actually, the Bestial Seal scales with Strength, so might be better for you) Tip for the crawly guys and lots of other undead: AoE heals (like Heal) do tons of damage and poise damage to them.
The face is prep for later when you see it again. It's a small lore facet, part of a larger whole. It will tell you why the castle walls look like they are decaying
Good video, I feel your joy with the game. It’s quite an experience. Nothing will ever replace my first play-through of Elden Ring. The Land of Shadow has been phenomenal and so well done, but the big difference is that I am a Soulsborne veteran now. When I first played ER in February of 2022, I was a certified Greenhorn, other then playing a little bit of Dark Souls in the years prior(Which I thought was the hardest game ever, at the time….LOL….). After I learned how to play ER I rolled through practically all of the Soulsborne games and had a whole new perspective and total blast. I am a Soulsborne gamer for life now, and Miyazaki is my hero…LOL. But as I said nothing will ever replace that first play-through of ER: the aestheticism, the immersion, the sheer grandiosity of the game and not to mention such extremely smooth combat and gameplay. And of course the elevator moment into Siofra River, Nokron and Nokstella, (Just Rannis quest in general is like the quest of lifetime)….And walking into Leyndell and seeing the skyline of the capital for the first time, such breathtaking moments that I had never felt in a video game before. 10 out of 10 Fromsoft!!! And the crazy thing is that the map design was even better and more complex in Shadow of The Erdtree. Such a great game all around!!
Love watching people play fromsoft games for the first time. Good content bro. But man. The “you are mine” after every boss is so goofy😂😂😂 edit: ok it’s growing on me 😂😂😂
I noticed that a lot of the time you're attacking when you should be dodging, and doing the follow up to your step attack when the enemy isn't even close.
i saw some people telling you that you can use the white flowers to upgrade your summons, thats true but youll need to unlock an npc first, roderika, that woman on the storm hill will have moved to the roundtable hold by now, she stands next to the fireplace, talk to her , then to the smith and repeat, talk to both of them until youre done wiht that line of dialoge and reload the area to unlock spirit tuning
Love these videos and a quick tip is when you are stuck on where to go you should take a look at your item descriptions or just revisit some locations in case you missed something obvious.
I remember the first time going into the underground and getting the map for it with my jaw just being on the ground the entire time. keep it up tarnished
One of the reason you felt lost is because you've been missing the two main paths: one towards the giant structure in the middle of the lake, which you needs to find keys to get in. Another is on your left. Both paths you'd explore naturally as you progress, so don't worry too much. And as always, if you truly feel lost, remember to follow the gold arrows the graces are pointing towards. Last tip, remember to two-hand your weapon if you are not casting spells often. No reason to not get some dmg boost (and poise dmg boost too). Anyway, great editing, and I fear for your health as this game is biigggggg... and that's not counting the DLC, which you absolutely need to do. It's simply not an option. Don't rush and don't worry tho. Take your time and enjoy the journey.
I felt lost in Liurnia for a bit, too. I also ended up just exploring a bunch, and eventually, I found something that guided me in the right direction. All that exploring you did will pay off too cause people who just rush through all the content end up underleveled a lot of the time
Glad to know I am not alone! That is one thing I don’t like doing, is going in under leveled for things. I always try and over prepare, ie. The Black Blade Kindred. Didn’t keep bashing my head into the wall LOL
You will fight Gurranq at some point. Twice. The Smithing Stone Miner's Bell Bearing made the Twin Maiden Husk shop sell Smithing Stones 1 and 2. Also Glintstone Scrap. Hard to tell if you weren't super familiar with what was already there in the shop. You will find many more Bell Bearings until eventually you can buy ALL smithing stones in the shop except for the Ancient Dragon smithing stones (regular and somber) that are needed for the very last level. Those are limited. But once you have all the smithing stone bell bearings, you will be able to level up any and all weapons you want to one level short of final (as long as you're willing to farm the runes to do so). Also, as long as you've turned those bell bearings in, they stay when you go on to NG+. So you will continue to be able to level items up without having to find every smithing stone all the way through your NG+'s.
if in doubt where to go, follow grace, follow erdtree or literally look up. the map skyline has massive things. there is a huge castle in the center of liurnia you can go into, (also you overlooked the well in the runebear woods in limgrave it seems)

Well done with the lobsters! I ride out of my way to avoid them, and I have beaten ER on lvl 1.
I hate those lobster 's so much...
@@neverbeforeggI'm baffled you haven't suffered their abominable squirt attacks
@@neverbeforegg someone at fromsoftware really thought its a good idea to equip a big crab-type enemy with a railgun :>
A mace or hammer would be helpful when slash doesn’t cut it, preferably one with some Dexterity scaling
That’s all… good luck!
You need to start using your flask of Wondrous Physick!
Re: the identity of the statue man; we call him Elden John and the lore community would dearly love to know literally anything about him too. He doesn't seem to be mentioned in writing so all we have are context clues about his mysterious statues. He's both infuriatingly absent and all over the damn place.
Remember to go back to stormveil Castle and go to the devine Tower there
You can activate your rune arc for better abilities then. Go through the main gate of the castle.
Good video as always mate. Keep them coming. 😀
I had no idea! Thank you for the help! I will try and remember to do that in the next episode!
@@neverbeforegg Nice! Just remember about the massive crossbow things at the main gate. 😅. You can go around, but I always find it more of a challenge to try and roll past haha.
@@madmanjoe1002What's a couple more deaths to the ELDEN RING WARRIOR?
Pro tip: you can only truly kill a skeleton if you wait for them to start reanimating and hit them once more, or do holy damage which kills the first time
Pro tip #2: most catacombs have boss doors close to the beginning so that if you die after pulling the lever you'll only have to take out a few enemies before getting to/retrying the boss.
Pro tip #3: exhaust nco dialogue every time, keep clicking "talk", if you don't you may miss out on side quests and loot drops.
Oh for real?? I will have to try that next time! Thanks!!
@@neverbeforegg It's something you should get used to for the larger fights. Often locking on/locking off is something you should learn to do regularly
I too just started Elden Ring the other day and it’s my very first souls game as well. I’m having decent fun with it and not dying as much as I thought I would. Great video
Good luck Tarnished!! Thank you for watching!!
Watching you videos are so refreshing. The pure enjoyment of a first time player is super exciting. I was just like you. Never played a souls game. Loving this series man, keep having fun in the lands between! Theres so much to explore that if you ever feel lost, pick a road and go, that's my method 😅
"Gave myself magic fortification" as if we weren't all waiting for you to figure out spells
Just started watching, but I'm glad you went back to tie the loose ends! I wonder if you find that one secret place I'm thinking of😉
Consider the Loose Ends, tied! We shall see! I hope you enjoy!!
Also keep going up from where you found the knight with the prayer book. You'll find a teacher that you can give the prayer book to, and can learn some incantations up there.
Excellent progress so far, this has been a great series and your presentation style keeps things fresh. Just as an fyi there are more secrets around Limgrave yet to be found.
its criminal that you dont have more subscribers, these videos are incredibly good
Nice Video as always
Top tip: different enemies are vulnerable to different damage types. For example anything "brittle" is vulnerable to "strike" damage which you usually get from maces and hammers. This includes: gargoyles, golems, giant ants, crystallians, miners, and animated skeletons. Undead and miners are also vulnerable to Holy damage, so I usually put Holy Blade on a morningstar to have a backup weapon that solves two problems at once.
Seeing people enjoying elden ring feels gud af for some reason ._.
Plus your video is enjoyable. Keep it up man
Hey I am so glad you enjoyed!! Thank you for watching!
@@neverbeforegg Nah man.Thank you for creating these high quality content :)))
@@cajwalkman761 Ohhhhhhh thank you for clarifying that for me! Huge!!
Enjoying these so much. Once you figure out that meeting location map you'll have a great time exploring Raya Lucaria.
I am excited!!
The dragonkin soldier is a cool boss and there is a lot more cooler and harder bosses to come and I'm excited to see you fight them 🔥
16:00 The enemies you come across shortly after reading that message are called revenants.
NB, you may want to go back to limgrave and weeping peninsula
Theres a few quest lines you havent done (eg: yura, a questline related to the forest area, etc)
Theres also 2 big things in weeping peninsula you may want to check out (figuratively and quite literally).
When you get the radhan please take your time and learn his move set because you may just feel spartan rage😂..love your vids mate keep your head up❤

So Caelid is intended to be a mid-late game area which is why you deal basically no damage to the black blades. Also that health drain effect is called destined death and it drains your health but also caps it out depending on your vigor level
You should go back to lake agheel there are some ruins there and there are 2 chests with good loot
When you enter a region for the first time, try to find yellowish small lantern thing in the map. It is not that hard since the thing is shown on the empty dark background. Those are the pillars you found map at their foot.
You need a finger seal in your left hand..google where to buy one you can use incantations. Staff in left hand to use spells.
45 minutes? Gotta get my popcorn real quick
Hey thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed! The Bloodhounds Fang has proven to be a massive boon for me in my battles. It’s so good!!
@@neverbeforegg You have demonstrated me by showing it. Appreciate it.
Finding someone playing elden ring for the first time now is insane I wish I could experience this game for the first time again lol
I'm glad you're not too bougie to use summons. You are awesome to watch 😊
This game is so huge. I've done three playthroughs. But I've somehow missed this boss every time.
Glad to watch a new chapter of your Elden Ring adventure!
Technical information about combat ahead:
Those miners you said to be taking too much hits to kill, they have some type of stoneskin and are particularly strong against slashing and piercing attacks.
Another note: The bell-bearing you gave to the Twin Maiden Husks allow you to buy Smithing Stones 1 and 2 directly with them.
That it from me, good luck with the journey ahead! 🙋♂
It's cool watching somebody experience this for the first time.
It’s not important:but after killing a boss in a cave/catacomb, the fast travel block is undone so you won’t have to use the teleport if you wanted to go somewhere else
You need to swap to a "seal" to use incantations, which you can buy of the weird twin finger merchants at roundtable hold. (Actually, the Bestial Seal scales with Strength, so might be better for you)
Tip for the crawly guys and lots of other undead: AoE heals (like Heal) do tons of damage and poise damage to them.
The face is prep for later when you see it again. It's a small lore facet, part of a larger whole. It will tell you why the castle walls look like they are decaying
I'm just gonna say it warrior boy, I love you.
extra points for the prequel references
Side note- always give death roots one at a time. It can mess up the rewards if you give all of them to him at once.
Elden Ring truly does seem to grow by the hour on the first playthrough.
You might wanna pick up those glowing yellow and white rocks you can find in mines.
Love watching people play fromsoft games for the first time. Good content bro. But man. The “you are mine” after every boss is so goofy😂😂😂
edit: ok it’s growing on me 😂😂😂
I noticed that a lot of the time you're attacking when you should be dodging, and doing the follow up to your step attack when the enemy isn't even close.
A lot more to see in limgrave and stormveil castle and as you already saw, the roundtable tends to update quiet often with its npcs.
i saw some people telling you that you can use the white flowers to upgrade your summons, thats true but youll need to unlock an npc first, roderika, that woman on the storm hill will have moved to the roundtable hold by now, she stands next to the fireplace, talk to her , then to the smith and repeat, talk to both of them until youre done wiht that line of dialoge and reload the area to unlock spirit tuning
Also- its just a freaking beautiful game + every fight I get into makes me just s tiny bit better at the game
win-win :D
Those smithing stone bell bearings allow you to buy smithing stones from the maidens infinitely
You can go faster to the Round Table on the map if you press Y them X and A. Just a little QOL tips very usefull after hours and hours of game ^^.
you shoulda seen my face when you applied fire grease to fight a fire breathing dragon
LETS GO, always super happy to see you upload a new Elden Ring video
Hell yeah!! So glad you enjoy!!!
