I JUST changed the left side spindle this afternoon on that deck. I have to check all those springs and sliding brackets, as the blades were not spinning. Found these videos when I came up. A little more troubleshooting, but I see it as an adventure...making it work!

At 27 minutes and 35 seconds you are hooking up a cable to the deck. What exactly is that cable called. Mine broke! And where can I order a new one. I have this exact mower. Thank you!

measurements will be off because of the extra rail plate thickness at the chute wouldn't you think??? it may be the distance change... Just saying.. good video

Chris Roosa Hi Chris It sure looks like the blade needed to be balanced. When I rebuilt the deck I sharpened and balanced the blades. It was the belt it had been smoked at sometime and there were two spots on the belt that were only 3/8” wide instead of 1/2”. I put a new belt on and it smoothed right out.

The owner didn't want to spend the money. The old blades were in good shape after I sharpened them.
