Thank you so much for this video. I couldnt figure out where that spring that disengages the blades went...I took it apart and was going to mark it with colors or something..but no, I'll remember I said. I didn't of course. Thank you again
Why would you remove the deck just to sharpen the blades? Just crawl under the deck and unbolt the blades to remove them to sharpen them. It's alot less work also. Oh ya, blow off all the lose grass when you've done mowing so you don't end up with such a dirty mower like that.

It is a 42-inch deck
