Yes iPhone USB-C according to you 2017, has a faster data transfer speed than any other USB-C out there in androids devices. They were late in the game, but instantly ahead of any other thing. Can your android record video directly to an external storage? Does ur android data transfer speed up 10GHz?? NO So iPhone still wins all round
@@Loveline-TV well, samsung s21 in 2021 was the first samsung smartphone to have an usb 3.2 port (10gbs, not GHz). And yep, if u use open camera you can record on external device and i'm sure samsung will just copy some homework for the future as every company does (apple included)
@@Kasaiconlak no problems The thing is, some features are first on an iPhone like portrait mode feature, it came to the iPhone first with iPhone 7+, but right now, every other smartphone has a portrait mode. can copy and androids can copy too
After watching these videos, i purchased a iphone 14 pro max. All this connectivity with a cable is useless. Monitors and data are all wireless. Hot take the lightning port is superior due to durability.
I’ve found it to be convenient for quick data transfers. Take SSD from Mac and plug right into phone for a quick swap. I’ve done this maybe 3x since I got the phone over a month ago, so not like I’d miss it if it were gone. The rest of the time, to your point, I opt for wireless as much as I can and keep a port plug inserted to keep dirt out.
Great Video ! I have a not so related question though. There is a Usb-C wireless mic from Boya (BY- V10). I was wondering if it would be safe to use it with the 15 Pro Max. In the past, for lighting cables I always used to look for the MFI tag. Is there anything we need to look for when talking about Usb-C & the iphone 15s? Thank you for this video!
My monitor does not have HDMI port, Only Displayport, So I got HDMI to DisplayPort cable and connect it via Ugreen 6in1 Still No signal, Can u Help pls thanks, I have Dell Monitor
Can confirm that works! You just need a USB dock, and maybe some Velcro to attach all the stuff together otherwise it’s hard to hang on to. Plug the yeti and the external SSD into iPhone and you’ll be good to go
@@JustinMiller_Tech Thank you for responding. Can confirm, I tried it with the: Blue Yeti mic. (SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable SSD - Up to 1050MB/s, USB-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2) (USB C Hub, RSHTECH USB C Dongle Adapter with 8K HDMI, 10Gbps USB C and 2 USB A Data Ports) And it works for about 15 seconds then cuts out... I tried different inputs on the hub too. any thoughts?
You could not do everything that was mentioned in this video, because some of these things required USB OTG , which was not included in the lightning connection. But is part of USB type C.
I just received my new iPhone 15 (iOS 17.0.3) and connected it to the LG 24 Ultrafine display using the original cable. The iPhone immediately beeped and began charging, but there was no image on the display. I use the cable and this display with my MacBook daily. Appriciate any suggestion. Thank you
That's interesting that the cable you have currently works with your MacBook and not your iPhone. Do you have other USB-C cables that you could try out? I have a few that I purchased for video and they all seem to work on iPhone, but my iPad & iPhone original cables only provide power delivery without video. If not Amazon has their Prime Days going now where you could pick up a cable that will support video for under 10 bucks.
@@JustinMiller_Tech currently I have only one cable.. will order additional. Just tested iPad Air 4th gen with this cable and get same result - charging without video output. Strange. MacBook works perfectly
welcome in 2017

Good test. Could you test if a micro and an SSD are connected to the USB dock at the same time .
Yes sir! I tested with a Micro SD from another device and plugged in the SSD. They both showed up in the files section.

You'll be good to go. There aren't any MFI restrictions on the iPhone USB C!
Bro, you need links I came to look for links to buy things
Appreciate the suggestion! Just getting started making videos, so it all helps.
I can update the description with what I used in the video

Sounds like too much power draw
Your hub should have a port for power
So you could attach a power bank
Well, you can do it on older phones too
Probably, but I didn’t have the cables for those. Love having the universally accepted port finally

Slick stuff
Cool thanks🎉😊
But I still can't rearrange my damn MFking icons without them all squeezing back to the top left.
Yeah that would actually be nice
Let me put my app where I want it

@@oleglapchynskyi Definitely a strange scenario if one device is able to output, but others can't. Should be all fixed with the new cable!
You should use a usb-c that is capable for display
Usually they are more thick and short than normal
This finally made iphone worth the upgrade.
