Retired Marine here. I can tell you with absolute certainty that the Naruto Running slide for what I'm assuming is a safety brief is absolutely real. When I was in the Marines, we would have safety briefs all the time about the dumbest shit. Granted, I think whoever made the slide did it in satire, but I wouldn't put it past them. lmao
Former active duty Air Force now government civilian. can 100% back this up. Anyone with access to a secured area got a briefing that included this slide. Naruto running was specifically mentioned.

@@gionsina7373 heh well the demon core is buried at area 51, along with a ton of other misc nuclear materials, to keep those contained they will do anything it'd put the public at too much risk otherwise.

On Asmon's Twitch stream we have watched a lot of stuff that I'd consider the absolute peak of TH-cam content creation.
Things like the Astartes animation, where one animator put entire hollywood studios to shame, Uberdanger's WoW Classic series, Barny's Scarab Lord to name a few.
The videos of the Internet Historian belong right to the top of that list as well, maybe not the earlier ones but the last few for sure

Learning about all the things that happened in between and what not, I didn't know. I only knew about the raid and the 200 showing up. Nothing about Alienstock and the whole Rachel situation. Start to finish, this video was great and gave me a solid good laugh throughout. Asmon and the chat made it better just seeing others have the same reaction.

My grandpa was in security systems when he was younger, he managed to work in Area 51 for a bit installing security doors. When he heard about this his response was legit "Good luck to 'em, I did my fuckin' job right and that was thirty years ago. Couldn't take a piss break without an access card."

I was in the army in a combat MOS, and the briefs looked exactly like 20:16. That's absolutely real.

I like Km, and I don't think miles is edge worth.
Imperial is an objectively worse system of measurement mathematically but there isn't much reason to change everything in the US to metric imo. Everyone in America uses Imperial and it'd be too much trouble to change every street sign or measuring tool and make everyone switch over to metric not just in use but also in their own mind. Not to mention it really doesn't matter what measuring system you use in like 99% of scenarios.

That Naruto Area 51 raid by IH was better and way more entertaining and had my more invested than anything HBO , Hollywood or Disney/Marvel has put out in the last 8 years, especially after Endgame.

Quality > Quantity any day and that is pretty rare to find on youtube these days because of how ad revenue and watchtime work. Internet Historian is a dime in a dozen.
The animation segment was absolutely fucking incredible. I want full series made in that style honestly. Its just so ridicolous.
I was working next to a recruitment office for the military back when this was going on and every evening when they would close up and go home they hung a paper sign on the door that said "Gone to Area 51 to stop the nerd force from invading" I took a pic of it because it was just so ridiculously funny that anyone would even think to attempt something like that in reality. Like this is a totally good plan that will definitely not get them all slaughtered by US Gov.

The Naruto run slide is real. I bursted out laughing in our training brief and the old timers did not understand why I found it so funny. I got pulled to the back room and had to explain why it was so funny and why I didnt take it so seriously. I tried explaining to them that the internet is an amazing place. I eventually showed them where it comes from and I was off the hook. 🤣

Bob Lazar didn't work at Area 51. He worked at an installation named S-4 (Papoose Lake) that is about 15 miles south of Area 51 (Groom Lake).

I love the fact that Asmon is just flabbergasted that the US Military would actually have a security brief on "Naruto Running" I can tell you, from personal experience, there's dumber things that I had to sit through briefings for. At least that would have been a fun one for me.

There was a man who managed to sneak all the way through. He was looking for signs of famous pioneer trailblazers that were meant to have left a marker in the valley.
He stayed away from buildings and just snuck through the shrubbery and hid in the rocks.
Then snuck out again. Can't remember his name. But he did make a video about it.
