- While on safari in the Masai Mara, Kenya we saw lionesses and cubs. When we tried crossing the river nearby to get a better look, our car got stuck, and as we were about to get out and attach a winch this happened...

I highly recommend them.
what a beautiful creature they are. the lionesss are wonderful mom they hunt for food and protect their cubs at the same time
that little cub squeaking has got to be the cutest thing i have ever heard.
oh my god what a lucky experience you had!
Pick what you want from this video. Quite amazing! The mom kept looking behind to see that every last one of her cubs was following her. She was super patient with them. It was as if she knew how to count and had made a mental note that there should be five and all five were moving along with her and if any one of them needed help or was left behind, she would do what it took to prod them along. She was super wary of and constantly checking on the very dangerous species called humans around her and her cubs.
I WAS ABOUT TO SPEAK ON THE SAME THING SHE WAS NOT TRUSTING THE HUMANS AT ALL. IT'S SO HURTFUL TO WATCH THESE ANIMALS IF YOU'RE HUMANS THE WAY THEY DO ALL THE INTERFERENCE AND HURT AND HEARTACHE THEY HAVE CAUSED WILDLIFE 💯
How amazing! Thank you for posting...our family was in the Mara with Bill a year ago at this time and could not get enough of the place. My 12 year old and I are watching this together with yearning in our hearts for Kenya!
Was Bill driving? Cue the lions!
"Ralph, did you get that?" You guys keep messing with lion cubs and you're going to get it alright... Sooner than later.
Just spectacular footage. Some people go on safari and never dream of getting a shot like that! Lucky!
Cub: mum...mum...mum...MUM!!!
Lioness: WHAT!!
Cub: Puddles too wide... Lift please...? :D
That was awesome...seeing these lionesses waiting for the cubs & then went back to pick one of the cubs with real motherly instinct, these guys are lucky to have met with these beautiful animals..
It'd be funny as hell if momma lion decided she didn't liked you and pounced in that truck. Feets don't fail me now...hahaha
Lol
How insensitive to just bulldoze into their little hiding sanctuary. Humans can be such bullies. It was clear the cats didn't want to leave but were forced out. That's a mess.
I thought the same thing, messed up.
,
Jazzy Moni Yet if the humans did not have the vehicle, they could be in danger.
Disgusting Humans - lucky the MOMS still didn’t jump in the vehicle to protect the cubs
I agree, also. They are already losing their natural habitat in the wild. Is that not enough? When it comes to lions and humans...the innocent lions take the bullet. Leave them alone. Lionesses have enough on their plates.👎🤔
Great video clip....I've never seen anything like this before, and those cubs are so cute!
Not really a smart idea to go near lions with cubs in an open-top jeep?
It would be a dream come true, for me too watch something like this! Wow such beautiful animals! 😊
What a cute cub! This is ideal relationship between human and wild animals;
we don't interfere with them, and they don't interfere with us either.
I'm glad human civilazation came to the point (at least partially in the world),
to realize this kind of relationship,to respect each other.
One of the most amazing amateur wild life video's I have ever seen in my life!
This was absolutely fantastic!!! We too got stuck in the Masai Mara, yet we were down the river from the hippos and it stunk like a sewer! Still loved it.
This precious cat moms they are so cute. There are an amazing moms. 🤗🤗😃 We need to take care of this intelligent big cats. Thank you guys for posting this cute video.
Thank you for not ruining the moment by being able to hold the camera decently.
the lionness kept looking back. if we humans have a little bit sensible heart, we should understand/empathize that this act of lionness. i think they were enduring/patient enough with us humans paparazzi intruding their privacy.
They clearly weren't happy with being disturbed. It was obvious they were reluctant to leave.
YOU WERE BLESSED TO SEE THINGS THAT MOST OF US NEVER WILL....I ADMIRE YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS FOR THAT.......THAT MUST HAVE BEEN AMAZING !
oh my gosh the cubs kept coming ....the cuteness never ends ^-^ !!!
A very educational video for children. No gore, no blood. It's mom looking out for her young. Enjoyed watching it, thanx.
do they not jump to upper car???
God certainly has a funny way of rewarding us, even when we think we've screwed up. What a privilege...those cubs were tiny. Not everyone gets to see them like that, especially in the wild. Thanks for sharing this little treasure of a moment with us.
I was watching soccer five minutes ago... How does this happen?
They are so cute !
beautiful interaction between the lions. a mom lioness is looks so gentle
So many tiny little cubbies! ❤️🐾😊 I hope they all survived to adulthood even though I know that, statistically, that's highly unlikely to have happened. 😢
one of my favorite videos ever..thank you
Beautiful lions. I so enjoyed watching. Thank you.
u guys r so lucky to wittness this..when i was there 2 wks ago i wasnt blessed with such encounters..all the lions we saw were lazing around and no action.
3:33 lol birds in the background are laughing at the helpless cub being helped by its parent
Thanks for risking your lives to show to us such wonderful videos
Nice glimpse of nature in its truest form. I love lions. The cubs look like Simba in Lion King. The only lion I ever hated was Mufasa.
Did u ever get out?
@lilquizz I don't see them doing anything but filming these wonderful animals. why does it always have to escalate to a race issue?
Really adorable I would love to pet these cubs!!
Great video! Totally amazing experience that would have been, being so close. Wow!
that cube loins is adorble more than adorble its just soo freaky cute awwww!!!😍
Natureza perfeita em tudo!!!!!
Simply wonderful piece. Thanks so much for sharing. King of Beasts and Scaredy Cat - all in one shot
Awesome video. Bet you felt the trip was worth it when you were so close to the pride!
Love the sounds the kittens make.
Why? Because you invaded their space ?
Rare and fantastic video shot. Thanks for uploading.
that was one of nicest thing i ever saw, love the cubs. they are few days old, these two lionesses were in a pride before and probably 2 males most likely 2 brothers took over and mated these healthy lionesses.
I think they're more like 6 weeks, few day old cubs wouldn't be able to walk that well :-)
how the heck you knw their sex history by watching this video??
lol sex history? umm... I was talking about the baby lions... I was just saying they look older than a couple days... in fact I KNOW they're older than a couple days...any idiot that watches ONE lion documentary would know that.
Hilary Carress you are right about the cubs being older than couple days, probably they are learning how to walk, and am guessing about 4 weeks, they learn how to walk when theres eyes opens, and it takes 3 weeks to happen.
and also when male lions want to start a pride usually theres two or sometimes 3 males most likely brothers, they search for any lionesses to start a pride the bigger the better.
i like savanah i watch alot of wild life documentaries on wild channel i know my fact lol.
what can we say??
they are so adorable and so cute.
Very cool, and cute!
9 year old🤔
Thanks for this great video. Truly nature is amazing. I wish I was able to pet the little cubs they were so cute but I know if I ever did that, I would be torn to pieces and secondly I would be interfering with nature. Thank you once for this great video.
Amazing! I hope our experience will be just as amazing!
just leave the animals alone
wtf...they got stuck, do you even watch the vids
I agree with you completely...way too many safari trucks harassing and bothering the animals!
This is amazing, I would have been so scared being that close.
..this video is great but I really would prefer never to have enjoyed it than disturb this lion family forcing it to move far away from their den as well as bring a lot of concern to the lionesses about their cubs safety-
قبائل افريقية
Love wild critters. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for sharing...amazing moment ♥
The Cubs are so CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😻😻😻🐹🐹🐆🐆🐆🐆
Wow!...that was truly spectacular!
I love the creator of this beautiful nature
They sure can count the babies! Wonder if they name the babies as well!
Title should be " Lions trapped by Humans"
aattitude let the scientists deal with that, not tourists. comprende?
aattitude no no comprende because you are fealty human being just like these 'idiotas'. In which perfect world do you live that all tourists are so respectful and curious? Jacque Fresco's? Mind as well, allow hunters mass animal killings, so that way you can charge more money. Governments need to get involved not fucking tourists who shot lions and other engendered species! Comprende? I doubt bcz you are one of them Mr "curious and respectful" tourist. Fuck away back to where you came from!
aattitude
but these tourists and pro-photographers are cause of nature interference. Vehicles should be restricted to roads, but ppl drive vehicle into the wild beasts territories. They interfere between lion and its prey. Also there was incidence where elephant was shot dead as he overturn a car (later found it was driver's mistake). So don't think tourists are too clean and obey rules.
+aattitude FILMMAKERS + TOURIST = NATURE INTERVERE, NATURE DESTROYER, KILLER. LION ARE SCARE OF 'BIG ANIMAL(TRUCKS + VEHICLES + HUMAN + CAMERA)AWFULLY. YOU CANT READ LION FEELING ON THEIR FACE?? NOT? THEN YOU DONT RESPECT ANIMAL.. LION HAVE HIGH-SENSE, ENOTION LIKE HUMAN.
+ankushzap DONT CHASE LION PRIDE. YOU MISSED POINT. YOU DONT KNOW LION FEELING. LION SCARE OF BIG ANIMAL(VEHICLES + HUMAN + CAMERA)AWFULLY. LIKE DINOSAUR
Great to see, lionesses are such fantastic moms. I went on Safari in Kenya as well, South Africa still allows legal canned lion hunts, killing lions raised in captivity for sport in fenced enclosures. If all wildlife tourists who love lions go to African nations that don't allow canned hunts of lions and trophy hunting of them, then the other countries like S.Africa will stop.
Thanks for sharing this info. If I am ever so lucky to go on an African safari, I will be sure that the country I visit does not allow canned hunts.
i am so ashamed as a South African as i am against this action. Thank you for sharing this information, but i heard it has been banned
Michelle Linsi No. It's still legal and going on...
ahhh that really sucks . thanx
ALL LIONS SHOULD BE HUMANELY EXTERMINATED.
THEY ONLY CAUSE MISERY FOR PEACEFUL SENTIENT HERBIVORES.
HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF YOUR GUARANTEED FATE WERE TO BE HELD DOWN BY AN UNRELENTING BITE TO THE THROAT WHILE ANOTHER LION ATE YOUR GENITALS WHILE YOU WERE STILL ALIVE?
ONCE EXTERMINATED, THE RESULTING OVER-POPULATION OF HERBIVORES WOULD THEN BE HUMANELY QUELLED BY HUMANS.
WE WOULD NEVER ALLOW THE TORTURE THAT GOES ON IN THE WILD TO OCCUR IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS, WHY ALLOW IT IN OUR WILD PLACES???
a lioness is the baddest mother on the planet...they do it all
why they are laughing?
Lol over the mighty river, love it !!
Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome to watch the wild pets, i can feel that the Lions feelings are they are being invaded. You can see how they were mindful from the people watching them. They were having good time in grassy place but has to leave of fear from the intruders. They should be left alone.
Such a wonderful and peaceful lionesses. Amazong video.
no title should be the idiots with dollars on. the Jeep's in lion's living room.
Wow that's amazing footage. Better than most of David Attenborough's footages lol
The baby lions were ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!
wow, what a fantastic video!!grew up in kenya. that is a pretty disastrous place for the driver to get you guys stuck! luckily those lions are used to humans. Some of the national parks I used to go to, lions werent used to humans and would growl and get pretty pissed off when near humans.
Does anybody let me know why the lionesses did not attack the human spectaculars?
Lions like "Oh the humans are here, lets get out of here"
SubhanAllah, even that which we called 'wild' has love and kindness. the mother keeps an eye on each and every baby and waits for them to catch up. And then it carries the last one with the same jaw that it kills a large animal but without hurting the young tender cub even a bit. God's works are just marvellous...
The lionesses looked as if they were eating a kill, before they were disturbed by these people bringing their vehicle right up close, revving the engine and talking.
these people are part of nature lol....they live there...their purpose is to cause other animals to run away....
lionesses are like...oh shit, those guys are coming 'again'...better move away...they are nothing but trouble. such a pain in the ass.
this is soooooooo cute! *_* and how the mother gets the puppy over the mighty river!^^
such cool animals! :D
Cub not puppy
Incredible...Thanks for sharing
Absolutely amazing opportunity to see this in real life and real time. Wow...
Very nice footage
Lol, the mother's expression like "Get over here right now!"
What an amazing video thanks guys! You were very lucky i reckon right place right time i presume.
Absolutely brilliant
EXCELLENT RESPONSE !!!
love of a mother..amazing!
i would love to hug 1 of the cubs even just for a minute.. of take it home with me, it's so cute
brilliant clip
wow that was awesome! it must have been exciting
Amazing Journey !!!
@stopcodon086 ...I know! That one lion was having 2nd thoughts but knew her sister wasnt up for an attack even after the cubs were out of the harms way. The pride works 2gether so they can read one another. If another lion or the male lion would have showed up behind the ppl or on the side, it would have been a wrap for them
see a mother lion care for cubs like this, makes me think we are just a smart form of animal.
How precious..
@warrior4ladies I think she did not use her sharp teeths. But the inside ones
Totally cool, thank you for posting this!
They are lovely.
daww the baby cubs are so cute
@dreakheart it wasn't a den or it would have only been 1 lioness, they don't bring their cubs to the rest of the pride till they a certain age and most prides don't den up.. It's obvious they knew the area from the route they took to leave
Wow ! Beautiful . Love it.
How come no one got out to play with the cubs?!
mooky lol
mooky no way, no chance. Lol
You mean the "cub"?
Nossa parece um rio q secou?
