Red Road my favorite lion ❤ His oldest son looks just like him. I hope he lets them stay to help protect the pride.
He won't. Red Road is a lion, as is his son. When male lions reach 2-3 years old, they reach sexual maturity and become more aggressive. They're also bigger and eat more, straining the resources of any pride. Therefore, Red Road will drive them away from his pride (if he's still running the show at that point) so as to avoid having his son and his son's mom/aunts/sister reproduce and to protect the resources of the pride. They aren't humans. They're lions.
Inbreeding will happen

I love watching these animals...i had the luxury of getting within 5 feet of a male and female, at a zoo here in michigan....the female was even bigger in person than on film....the male was gigantic!!!

As always a very well done short video. The Male .Leopard certainly was a beautiful speciman. One thing on my bucket list includes a trip to the Savanahs of Africa. During the Calving season. For Wilderbeast, Impala Lambs etc. 💪🏻🙏🏻✨

The two Mbiris are really big, hope they won't challenge Ncila and Mandevu, there could be severe injuries to all four cats and a pride in danger... and I am not talking about poor Lambile that could be destroyed...🤞 All of them are so beautiful and great to watch, would be a loss for the wild to loose one of its superb creature ❤ 🦁 🙏
I don’t think he is in great condition. He looks a little thin. Additionally, he always has had thick, muscular legs and they also look thin.

How far away is Red Road’s territory from the Mbiri territory?
Mbiris were up in Skybeds area forever but can be in Ngala and Timbavati.

Those two Mbiri Boys look really mighty and scary! Really hope that Ncile and Mandevu have a strong enough bond to stand up against them if necessary! Do you know how Lambile is doing? I know that the signs of TB had started to show more and more! How sad! Always happy to see “my” boy Red Road! Love him and the Nharus a lot. He looks amazing and in good shape! So happy to know that Silver Eye has cubs again. She had just lost her last litter when we saw her in June. Red Hawk, the new young leopard in Tavangumi’s old territory, looks gorgeous. I hope that Cara and him might like each other so she has a new protector of herself and maybe a mate to have cubs with. Thank you for this wonderful video! Enjoyed it a lot🙏🏻♥️🐾

Hi, you mention that the Mbiri males are much bigger then the Tintswalo males. Could you please provide some more details on this..weight, height, length etc...i understand that they may not have been measured but your estimates will help understand this better....thank you!!

Wow what a beautiful he almost looks yellowish beautiful beautiful leopard this was my first time seeing them two brothers and I've seen a lot of lions to me on lions have their own beauty and personality but those two whoa they look like two army tanks I mean look at their main they were very focused look side by side I definitely would not wish for any alliance specially one to even to bump into them I'm not trying to give him a lot of credit they're beautiful but something about them something about them I can't explain and I won't say anything negative cuz I love Lions all lions they look like they would do some damage they are stunning they were definitely on a mission and are on a mission they just look like they're looking for a fight I just pray that nothing happens to railroad pride the lionesses were very smart to take the young ones and run I mean I could not believe that these lines actually went deep into some other Lion's territory and basically taking the ladies too I hope no one bumps into no liens but been to them I do not want to see any harm come to any liens I know that we just lost the line I mean especially when they hurt a cub I will not watch that they shouldn't even put that on a video so anyways changing the subject just pray that all the lioms stay safe 😇🙏😇🙏

These mbiri males are very successful fathers, but they are not good fathers at all.
They are successful only by chance.
First they conquer Zebinine pride in 2018 , sire cubs and leave the pride the same year. All cubs died.
They capture mayambula, sired cubs but dump them ( some say due to 3 nharhu males) just 1.5 years later. Mayambula girls were strong so 6 current mayambula males have reached adulthood.
Then they capture skorro pride in late 2020, sire tonnes of cubs but dump them also just 1.5 years later. Skorro pride was also somehow lucky and most of the subadults are just a couple of months short to 3.
Then mbiri males capture some girls of Birmingham pride ( and form a new Birmingham breakaway). They sired one white male cub and then a little white baby girl ( along with their littermates).
It's now been seen that the white cub died and other cubs are also vulnerable as Guernsey male and young avoca males are troubling them and jeopardizing the cubs life.
Instead of being with Birmingham girls , these boys are searching for new girls ( their sisters in mbiri pride).
I know it's a lion instinct but that's way too much.
Zebenine pride was bassicly desrtoyed by Mayambula pride so why is it supposed by be Mbiris fault that such think happen. From the Mbiri males perspective Maymbulas were also their pride, allowed to stay around, not an intruders they should chasse off in order to protect their pride.
They are what dominant males do..searching to expand territory and new females to mate with, so far they are a very successful coalition, many sired cubs who reached maturity and great fathers as well

I actually agree with you, much of their success is due to luck.
They didn't abandon Mayambulas due to Nharus, they shifted their territory to the east after losing to Nharus and kept the Mayambula pride normally, they left because they took over the Skorro pride.
They abandoned all their prides very quickly but were lucky that all their 10 Mayambula cubs reached adulthood, as well aa many of their Skorro subs are alive and doing well.
But they're turning 10yo now, leaving their prime, so they can't be searching new females forever, ny guess is that they'll settle with the Birmingham pride until they die or get ousted.

RedRoad I always know as he approaches , Alistair lost 😞 his two light maned kings to Anthrax and never really conjured up to RedRoad ? Named after the road out near the lodge , The kitchen in back gets the activity started ! Trying to get back on point here , Been away for a bit , Alistair give ole RedRoad a Bear hug !!!!

I dont know what is going on but the Birmingham pride is also facing issues.. they lost a few cubs including a white one. These males need to stay close to their females and cubs instead of exploring other territories and looking for a fight.
Cuz Shaka was serious hurt by Ncila and Mandevu 2 weeks ago that why nicla and Mandevu put beaten on him when he attacked lamibile ppl don't want believe me I been saying this for week a now it's been playing out like how said what happened.

This is my first time seeing the timbavati male. I’m sure this isn’t his first time venturing into the area considering there hasn’t been any displays from TavaNgumi in a while, so he was bound to investigate. I’ve also heard there is another male called the red hawk male investigating TavaNgumi’s territory, but maybe from a different direction. It will be interesting to see who ends up taking over.
Apparently not him? Spot pattern seemed to be 3:2. I just saw a photo of the red hawk male from Mala Mala’s instagram account and I’m 90% confident this male is him. Same spot pattern, no spots on the nasal area, same “pretty” face lol.
