- The 4 Sweni males are one of the most impressive lion coalitions in the Kruger National Park South Africa currently.
In years before the Kruger national Park has produced some impressive coalitions. In our opinion the 4 Sweni males are the most impressive coalition of lions in Kruger currently. 4 big brutes full of confidence, all wearing a beautiful mane and all in good condition. They also very affectionate towards each other as can be seen in the video rolling around together and rubbing heads solidifying their bond. We have often seen them displaying this behaviour at other sightings.
They originally a coalition of 5 males but only these 4 remain. One can only imagine how amazing a sight of all 5 boys would have been now in their prime.

does any1 know what happened to the 5th member? it says in the description there was originally 5. This is a force not to be messing with either way all in their prime so i imagine they are all 5-7 years old

Sweni males are gorgeous the love for each other is unconditional shows in their cuddle puddle beautiful manes massive boys no scars on their face tells me not alot of fighting among them hope to see alot more of this coalition
There's afew scars but nothing major and prob from in-house over food etc...they def have a bond you don't see that often especially there's no odd one out... usually in 4 or more theirs either 2 groups of 2 or 3 & 1 and these boys show the same towards all 4 which would mean they are high chance of staying together hopefully...

They are all perfectly fit and prime. They should do very well. The bonds are strong

It was an unforgettable experience to see these impressive males. They have a beautiful mane up to the elbow and are the epitome of handsome males in Kruger.
These 4 are really superb, healthy, strong and overall really close to each other. The link between all of them is huge and thanks to this they form a fantastic coalition. Better for other lions not to cross their road, there will be no chance to escape alive. This video is very well done, I have appreciated the quality of the moments captured especially when they are nearly on top of each other ! Thanks for the gift and long life to these Four. 🤞🙏

I think now only 1/3 their father is alive , 13 yrs old , and with his other 5 sons in nwanetsi pride

The father has nine sons! Or five with one not present here. If old senior fellow has nine (9!!!) mature sons, he is a Paragon to marvel at!

A group of lionesses did an AMAZING job raising 4 male cubs to adulthood! On average of 1 out of every 4 cubs survives to adulthood, and they got all 4 bonded boys to this...Just AMAZING JOB MAMA's (and Pops for holding off takeovers!!!)

Lions have been known to kill their own sons as they turn to teens when a lioness go into estrous. Yet, on the other hand, rarely a lion may for a coalition for life with sons. Now they've shown a documented SEVEN lion coalition. Perhaps less land, human threats, are causing a change in how fathers treat their growing lion cubs (?)
These boys are huge they looks like about seven plus not in there full prime yet they will makes beautiful cubs with strong genes

Credit to their mother, she must be wonderful, as these 4 are beautiful, strong, loving lions. I love their bond they will raise a wonderful pride, they are true kings! Not seen a coalition like this since Mr T, kinky tail, Rasta, Dreadlock, Scar, Pretty boy and Makhulu. I still get a lump in my throat thinking of what happened to poor Mr T and Kinky Tail 😢 I’m not sure what happened to the others, they were beautiful lions. 🦁🧡

We always see a “sisterhood” of lionesses together in the wild but seeing a group of male lions bonding together is special. Honestly, I would be way more intimidated seeing this coalition walking towards me! 😳😊

I'm not a lion expert. But. These appear to be well taken care of and enormous. As a kid, it saddened me to see them in a zoo/cage. These guys are at peace&happy. TMc
I dont think i have seen any lion coalition where all the kings are very handsome. Their close bonds can promise a longtime Kingdom.
when we were at pilansberg national park,me and my brother walked around near the house we stayed in and when we turned around we saw a male lion stalking us from behind,we didnt even think of recordingand we just started walking away slowly and returned home

The cuddling is actually very important. They need to do this to ensure their bond & share their scent with one another. They basically are sharpening their weapons & reapplying their war paint. Beautiful, strong & amazing coalition.
