Definitely the best trimmer I’ve ever used. The crunch is unbelievable… my clients love that it is super quiet. You can barely hear the thing when it’s turned on… Lol.

@@Seancutshair how are these around the throat area ? Rotary trimmers don’t do well with hard hair and they drag causing irritation to the skin. The grey t/ outliners are good for that but they get hot as you know .
Us barbers live for the crunch 💲😁💪🏼 seems like a good overall tool. That's big for us that have different tools for different things brother well put. It would be nice to have one. Definitely grabbing them.

Definitely best trimmer I’ve used. Quiet , even zero gapped it doesn’t irritate skin. I like the fx3 as well, babyliss gold fx is still great but babyliss blades always move over time.

I've had a hard time with the FX3. They came so sharp, got the mod and put the 2.0 FX blade on them.

@@Seancutshair I thought I already had hitters and they do hit but these all black sexy saber trimmers are the best trimmers I’ve ever used their is something special about them they have a place right next to my heart. They are sensitive to any type of skin and they are zero gapped I just don’t understand how and all I know is that they are a good investment I made. Thanks for the suggestion 4 months ago.

I slapped my gold X-Pro blade w/one cutter on my black saber. The black X-Pro blade to me isn't as kind to the skin as the gold one is...Saber is THE BEST cordless trimmer hands down

When I was using them I used them for everything. I don’t run into issues with dulling trimmers out

Honestly they would say there’s no difference but lots of people say the gold is slightly better. Used my black ones again the other day though and they’re solid too. You’ll just have to see if they do what you need em too 👌🏻

Senior is always a solid choice. Saber is nice though. My favorite of the three heavy metal SC clippers

Have you used the precision blade yet it’s the size of the slim line pro I have a couple of sabers one with the precision blade on it it also comes with the one cutter you’d love especially for designs
I got one in a package from gamma and one of my guys has it on his hitter. He loves it!

Pre ordered these in December and I can’t wait to get them. I’m curious about the black blade though. I know with babyliss the black dlc and gold fx blades are VERY different. Is it really different from the gold one? Did you have to zero gap the gold one or use it how it came fresh out the box?
I didn’t notice a huge difference. I didn’t set them in the video but ended up doing it today

Is it worth upgrading to the saber from the wahl detailer? The improved run time on the saber is a big plus compared to the detailer and also my detailer blade tends to get super hot now so curious if the saber also tends to over heat after extended amount of use/runtime? Thanks!
I think so. Wasn’t ever much of a fan of the detailer, saber is one of the best ever

Rebel for sure. I like the gamma boosted look better and it’s basically the same clipper
Just ordered these and I’m so ready to finally have them on my station. Been using the fx boost+ for a minute now and added the tpob troll in a while back.
How much of a difference can I expect in the noise level between these and the fx? Because tbh that’s a major problem for me with the fx; they’re way too loud imo. I have a few kids with sensory issues and you can forget using the fx or the troll. Always having to pull out the mag trimmers for that and you know you gotta be careful with them on kids because they’ll bite real quick 🤦🏻♀️

It's funny that all barbers use toolboxes at your stations. As I mechanic I like toolboxes
They’re durable and store a lot. I also mess with cars on the side so naturally 🤷🏻♂️ tool stations
In your opinion what makes the sabers better then the babyliss fx trimmers ?
Hard to explain. I think to get the fx to cut like the saber it’s super sharp and you have to be light handed. The saber hits like crazy and doesn’t feel sharp to the skin. Also cuts through bulk a lot easier

Yeah if you need to cut the length you’ll want a clipper as well. This does nice sharp lines though

That’s tough. As barbers we really use clippers for lengths and trimmers for lines. Not really one tool for both like for home use. I know some trimmers come with guards but honestly never really used any

I’ve been seeing a trend where gold blades perform better than dlc blades despite being the exact same model of blade. Do you feel that’s the case with the sabers?
I set these yesterday and they absolutely slap! I think they’re just as good as the gold
It’s true.
Many black blades are DLC coated and it is detrimental to blade sharpness.
would you recommend these for a bald head shave. im coming from some wahl detailers and looking for new ones for a bald cut.

I bought that same trimmer a week ago but I notice that it emits smoke from the blade part. I wanted to know if that is normal for it to do so 🤔🤔🤔???
Definitely shouldn’t smoke. Make sure it’s well oiled and adjusted right

Idk if I did something wrong when I first got them or if it’s normal which I don’t think it is but when I spray cool care they get louder
Cool care lubricates the blade and makes it move easier so that can make it louder. Still shouldn’t be too loud though

I’ve been using Babyliss for years now.. but it seems after time they get louder and louder and on one of my other clipper the on and off button doesn’t work very well.. then this other set of trimmer and clippers from Babyliss I’ve probably have only had it for like 4 months barely use it.. but when I do they get hot Soo fast!!!

I don’t believe so. It may just be but I don’t use trimmer guards. I’d say most barbers use clippers when guards are needed. Then trimmer for lines
