I love your videos bro..I thank you for your knowledge. I love the way you explain things so simple and step by step..but for much that I try to get that fade right it never works for me. I try following the steps but I guess I'm afraid to go to high and mess up the cut..
I give my son haircuts but for some reason I never could get it right. Is there some way I can send you a pic of his haircut and you can tell me what I'm doing wrong if thats possible.
Thanks my friends a master barber and he’s teaching me to be a barber here at n New York
If you do this method video but with different hair will help a lot
I recently changed shops and my new boss said she’s “really impressed with my fades for someone who’s only been cutting for a year”. Seriously Sean, you’re the reason that I am the barber that I am. You’re teachings are why I cut as well as I do. And things I used to struggle doing (cutting the top), I do with so much more ease now. You’re the best teacher on TH-cam that I’ve found yet. You’re actually the first one I found lol, BUT stills the best nonetheless because I’ve tried to watch others and it’s seriously not the same. So I feel like I need to tell you THANK YOU!! (and please keep making videos lol)
Love to hear it! Glad it’s going well for you!
Aw suq it already bro
Bro I’m the same way only a year surpassed a few shops here in Mexico thanks to you sean! 🥶

Your explanation of techniques is unrivaled. It’s obvious that you’ve fully transitioned to content creation. It shows in your overall quality. Your editor is also doing a fantastic job!!! Keep up the dope videos 🔥 👏🏼
Appreciate it! I’ll pass that along!
Gone months watching countless videos on how to fade. And I finally ran into this one. Made it so simple to understand . It helped tremendously. Thanks bro
You cleared up so much for me I’ve watched 1000 videos and someone finally explained what I needed in a way I can actually understand it. Thank you 🙏🏽💪🏽
Glad it helped!
Been cutting hair for 5 years and always finding myself coming back and watching your uploads. Keep up the content you’re by far the best Barber content creator!
Awesome! Thank you so much!!!
As a beginner who’s struggled understanding the fade process, all I can say is you explained it perfectly visually and verbally, understood every step. Gonna do a couple cuts here in an hour or so, this is kinda helpin relive some of the nerves lol. Appreciate you for dropping this gem, much love brotha 💯
Love to hear it! Good luck 👊🏼
Thank you Sean and happy new year, hope it’s filled with lot of success 🙏🏽
truly the best! there's so many tutorials out there but only you explained the length of the 0.5 and 1.5 guard. and that really helps a lot!
Awesome, thank you!
The edits&quality and the way you explain the steps improved a lot bro you’re killing it🔥 remember me when you hit 100k subs I’ve learned a lot from you🤞
Appreciate it! Any day now 🙌🏻
Thanks Sean, you earned a new sub. Too many barbers out there making steps more difficult than it needs to be. The math for the guards checks out in my head using this method.
Thanks!

My friend, I am a barber at the beginning of my career, thanks to your clips. I will not say that I have become a professional, but frankly, my level has improved. Thanks my brother 😘

I started to cut hair in January beginning of this year and this method is my favorite to fade hair🔥🔥🔥
Good to hear 🙌🏻
Now I truly understand why cutting a full fade is better when you break down the head in sections Sean thanks bro because when I go all the way around my own head sometimes I can get lost if I'm not fully focused just on mt haircut 💈💈💈✂️✂️✂️👏💪💯🙋
Yeah super easy to get lost
Glad you pointed this out. I've been having so many issues and currently stuck feeling like I might as well go bald

Thank you for this it really helped a lot especially with that 1 guideline. I always had trouble fading it out with the half guard and down :(
You're very welcome!
Love this. I have never heard anyone explain how the 1 1/2 guard open is longer than the 2 closed and shorter than the 1 guard open. That is a game changing piece of advice. Thank you!
It’s a game changer for sure!!!
i don't understand
@@markbalonga71811.5 guard with the lever in the middle is between 2nd and 1st guard.
what he is trying to say that if u want to blend in between the 1 guard open and the 2 guard closed u need to use the 1 1/2 guard on lever halfway open thats how u not gonna take more hair or less right perfect. If i understood right@@markbalonga7181
Hands down bro you make the best vids man ..

I still use my slimline and it works great for my technique and some other people still til today have told me that I’m a dinosaur 🦖 with my tools and asked me why I still use my slimline and detachable clippers for debulk and I just said that all my tools serve a purpose.❤ it

Hey Sean, amazing video as always really. I notice that you are using the Flex more and more. Do you prefer it over the Saber now? Do you think it’s sharper?
Thanks.
I dropped my saber and broke my blade. I think it’s equivalent I was just used to the saber
Sean. I need a favour my big man: can you make a shirt tutorial/video or something for me on bald fading into a closed number 1 on top, or on how to fade into a number 1 for a braid haircut. Need a guide please!
I have a cut into a #2 and I have fades into braids just need to go look through my videos!
Best tutorial l have ever seen well done bro.could you make a video for clipper motion and movments please?

Thanks big homie 👊🏼
Yoo so you use the 1 also to lighten the line for the 1/2 i should try that maybe it finaly helps me to remove that last line thanks!
Yeah open one guideline, closed one halfway up and half on the line. No matter what you do the one closed won’t take the line out
Nice video, but could you explain please how a 0,5 guard closed is gonna be shorter than a 0 open?? How is that possible? Same with the 1,5 and 2 guards.
Im scratching my head at the same thing here i wish for someone to explain this
It’s too much to explain here. The thickness of the .5 guard is so small, added to a closed clipper it’s shorter than open
Appreciate
👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Bro what is guard? I don't understand. Kindly Tell me how many millimeters of comb you used. ❤❤❤
Quick question, I notice that when setting in the guide lines that you utilize the whole clipper blade, and my question is, when you go to blend out the lines, do you use more of the corners or what looks like half of the blade versus using the whole blade? Oh sorry one more thing? How much pressure do you apply when using clippers?
Yeah I usually set them in with most of the blade. The more curved the guideline is the less blade I use. You should be push enough to have it flush to the head but the clients head shouldn’t be bobbing back and forth
Thanks!
Thank you 🙏🏼
I have always had these questions and looked at dozens of videos along time and have never found an explanation like this one in this video. This has covered so many doubts that I had and it will seriously make an impact on cutting hair better. I don’t know why other barbers that post content gate keep details like using a non zero gapped trimmer to cut the hair on the bottom. And to not bring the saver too up cause it’s going to make it impossible to blend. I have been making the same mistake before this video dozens of times and couldn’t find how to perfect my blend until now. This video deserves a donation because it’s saved time from making the same mistakes over and over without knowing how to pinpoint the cause.
The lever function was very confusing when having a half guard, because the cutting range is different and Sean has explained what’s the best way to move up the blend in length with each guard and lever.
Similar to how I used to fade, I’ve switched it up and just use the 1 and a half guard and half guard to fade now and it’s been working out really well! You tried that at all?
I’ve seen it done but I have a complete breakdown that I teach down to the mm and using only them doesn’t allow you to hit every length in there
What's up Sean, finally graduated barber school, been in the shop now about 1 month. I had a question about stretching the skin when takin out the lower 1 or 2 guidelines, mainly that last line. Is this something you do or have done when cutting? I understand how it could be helpful but I also feel like it could throw you off from being able to accurately follow that guideline around the shape of the head. I would love to hear your opinion on this man.
I don’t do it regularly but there are times a spot is hard to get out and stretching the skin can make it easier
Damn some barbers be charging a good buck for these type of video’s appreciate this my g
You’re welcome 🙏🏼
Hey gracias
You’re welcome!
Whats your opinion on the supreme vaders ive recently been looking into a kit and im stuck between supreme and tpob if you dont mind which one would you go with
Tpob x over the Vader
I don't know how you use the Andis Slime Line Pro to bald out. Everything time I used this trimmer, the blades would clog up and I would have to take apart the blade to clean it, even with short hair
Never had an issue idk 🤷🏻♂️
Sean can you do a video on how to make alcohol smell good and not as strong when you finishing client and what hair spray to use after you're done with client?
Mix it with a good smelling aftershave
@@Seancutshair easy!
Is there a chance that you could make a fade video with line graphics to show how high to take the clipper up per section. I’ve accumulated hours watching your video because I believe you to be the greatest barber of our generation. I am just struggling with the ability to understand how far do you go through the lines to fade them out.
This video is full of diagrams showing how big to make the sections. The three finger video I dropped a few weeks ago will help as well
@@Seancutshair thank you so much.

How do them MB guards fit the lopro?
Hi there,
I got a cheap machine from the market so i can do my own haircut since it's quite difficult to go to the barber.
My machine have only 2 accessories and you have to regulate size by turning it.
So my request is can you put every mensurations (mm) so i can have them and use them with my machine.
Thanks.
I wouldn’t even know where to start never used a clipper like that
i think the biggest question is, Do you actually Hit the line with the no guard - open, or do you hit above the bald Line as your making that second line? like do u fr hit it with the teeth or hit right above and flick?
I’m not sure I’m understanding exactly what you’re asking. You can hit the line because it’s open it won’t touch the bald line anyway
