I got my gold Sabers yesterday....... all I have say is wow! After using the zero setter that come with it man these things line up with no hesitation! I also have the Gold fx babyliss, they are a step behind the Sabers.

I think that the instinct should get a 5 in price as well, seeing how you get a total of three different covers for only a $20 difference , that should be taken into consideration, especially when you only get one option in the packaging for the Sabre..... I'm just saying 🤷 ..... I appreciate your videos, and you have definitely helped me with my purchasing of products. The Evo trimmer with the gold jawn and the one blade is dang near almost the same as the Instinct...10k rpm magnetic motor

Only difference would be the Vector motor the instinct has can turbo up when resistance is met unlike the evo so for bulk that could be beneficial
Yes absolutely but it’s nonsense to revup when u can use your clippers then clean it up with your trimmer!! And it will always make your blades last longer and for that i love my sabers and evos over instincts!! And i have all three

Man I got my black sabers two weeks ago and this might be a hot take but I feel like they might be the best trimmers ever.

Did you use them out the box or did you need to zero gap them?
@@ABE2WAS1984 I set them but the zero gap that comes with it was too sharp for me. So I use the T Outliner 10 second blade setter and it’s just perfect. This blade is a little tricky to set by hand to me.

The saber is better. If you have to buy one by the saber. It’s lighter way quieter isn’t as fat in the middle. And it’s slightly sharper.

I’ve cut hair since the early 90’s and the instinct destroys all competitors. Hands down. Change the blade to the gold and it really becomes unfair. Noise? Not bad at all. How bout this: whe it’s crunch time and heads are lined up, YOU WILL NOT have to play around or worry about the instinct. It will go like an old ford engine. That saber tho, not as strong doesn’t hit every stroke and to the skin as fast as you need it to be when it’s time to roll. That’s the real. It’ll go but you’ll hit the lines more times trying to get them crispy like that instinct does in one hit.
True in a since… if a barber doesn’t know how to gap their blades well then this will make sense every time.. but if you do know how to gap them . The sabers haven’t done me any wrong…but.. the cyborgs tho!!!
The gold titanium coated blades to me seem sharper/thinner then the black DLC coated blades. So because of that they black DLC blades might get sharper over time as the coating on the then wears from the moving blade shaving shaving them down
this could be true.. i think the black blade on the saber might be a beast

Thanks man, to be fair, im looking for a trimmer to be mainly for beard work. Ive always used cheap walmart clippers and trimmers but I want to get cleaner lines and edges, so anything around 30-50 bucks im done with lol...was about to buy the babyliss pro fxone loprofx trimmer but i saw a comment about its noiser than stylecraft and jrl....so i started looking at stylecraft and jrl....still on the fence

Can you tell me if your saber's motor is still working as ive had 2 bad experiences with those rotary brushless motors in the Jrls, both clipper and trimmer motors died at just around 10 to 11 months.
yes my sabers still work well.. question do you use them for everything or a specific thing? (like shape ups only) or (debulking only)?

At base it does yes .. once it hits resistance it can rev up to 11,500 rpms.. so that’s the maximum output of rpms it can reach
@@ConcisetheBarber oh okay my bad bro i didnt see on the box where it speeds up but makes sense since it has the same vector motor as the clipper, I got both about 2 weeks ago and the trimmers hit good out the box i just dnt like how bulky it is compared to the saber

I tried to explain it the best way I thought I could when I said it wasn’t the same … the cutter on my saber and instinct is just a tad bit different.. plus I was calling (the one blade) as a complete set with the still blade as well.. which is also why I said it’s different
