you are a very good teacher much better than the rest
you are so easy to understand thankyou for the way you deliver everything
Finally a good Thai ajarn!!!
I've been studying Thai for a number of years. Your videos are the best I've seen as they use example sentences and give repetition. Both are absolutely essential for learning in my opinion. Well done!
You teach with patience ❤❤❤
Hi Jack
I’ve been self teaching thru books and TH-cam
and basic conversation with the Thai people. I must say unequivocally your method and structure of teaching is the best I’ve come across.
Unfortunately, the books don’t help
I agree, Jacks lessons are fun and great. I also advice ‘Learn Thai one day one sentence’ with Niw. Her lessons are super helpful as well.
@@wandelingenoptexel9649 I totally agree. New and Jack are both great Thai teachers.
Broooo!!! When I hear the words "แล้ว-láew" "เลย-loei" it's impossible not to remember ชลธร คงยิ่งยง (กัปตัน-Captain)!!!
Thank you very much for your video lessons teacher. You are the best. Your channel is one of my favorites.❣
Much better than many of the lessons where the teacher speaks english the whole time. Really putting a lot of thai in my heart. Koajai ma?
Happy to come across this channel 😊 My grandparents moved to Pattaya in 1995 and since I've been going since 1996, I have always wanted to learn Thai. Thank you for explaining Thai tones and words to give us a better understanding. I feel the main tricky part of Thai is the tonal aspect of the language. Planning to visit Pattaya late next year so I hope to be able to at least have a conversation in Thai to show my love for the country 😁
สอนได้ดีครับ ไม่มากไม่น้อยจนเกินไป เข้าใจง่ายดี สอนแบบนี้ต่างชาติเอาไปใช้ได้ง่ายและมั่นใจมากขึ้นในการใช้ภาษาไทย เยี่ยมครับ

Bestest thai kru/teacher
I tried to learn before moving to Thailand and struggled badly. Now that I have lived here for 1 year, I am doing better because of many of these words and phrases you speak,
I have heard spoken from Thai people. The main thing is the 'tone" of the word because same word can have different meaning. You do make the sound of Thai easier to understand and speak! I now recommend your video to my American friends!
I really love your videos because the phrases are easy to apply and there are always varied sentences of the same type of phrase so we can get the sense of how the phase is used.
YOU are a very good , talented teacher !!! Kop Khun krap !!!
I'm supposed to be studying my Spanish but this video is so fun 😂

Hi do you do one to one classes? Thankyou great video and presentation nice and clear and easy to follow thankyou 🙏🏻
I'm sorry, but I don't offer one-on-one classes. However, I do have online video courses available. You can check them out on the website www.igetthais.com/
Definitely
Great channel I really like the emphasis on tone movement. I speak fluent Javanese and Indonesian- which is toneless. I kind of hear something like Javanese with the rrr words but I think Thai is more closer to Viet and Myanmar. Aja can mean maybe in Indonesian and Javanese.
Do you have regional accents? Maybe you can explain those. I ask because in Indonesia, very few but the elite and educated speak standard Indonesian, but everyone understands and reads it. And a lot of the elite are bilingual in Javanese (parents were Javanese, but kids rejected speaking Javanese because Indonesian does not have strata).
In Indonesia, generally in Jakarta they speak crap market Indonesian especially if kids it's almost a language without consonants, but because you can encounter every ethnicity- namely in order of rough commonality- Javanese, Chinese, Betawi, Sunda and Batak. So a speaker has to understand the non-standard dialects which are generally spoken by those without tertiary qualification.
Kab ku mar Krab. Pi chang pa sati keng ku mah, pi chai!
I would love to hear about regional differences too. I’ve heard อา being pronounced more sharp and nasally from some folks who lived in Chiang Mai while central Thai seem o pronounce it softer and in the mouth if that made sense. I have been wondering if I am starting to hear accents. A video on thai accents would be cool
how do i get in contact with you na krupp.
Liked.
Seems good but you need to explain what mai before a word or at the end of a sentence means or its just confusing
Thanks for the lesson. Does “bpai gawn na” means the same thing as “bpai la na”? Also, can “bpai gawn loei” also mean I will go first? Thanks🙏😀
bpai gawn na = bpai la na but "bpai gawn loei means "You go first, you can go first."
❤❤
Kopkun mak2 loei kap kun kru❤️🇹🇭👍🙏😎

hi, 35:30 mark you said AND is laew gaw. I often here AND said as LAA, and google translate says LAA for AND also. GF cannot describe when which is correct or when you would say one or the other...
HELP !!!!
In the video, I mentioned "laew gaw" (แล้วก็) to convey the idea of "and then." It's used to indicate that the second event will happen after the first event. It's similar to saying "doing A laew gaw(แล้วก็) doing B," and láe gaw(และก็) means "and." It's like when we say "1,2 láe gaw(และก็) 3." When spoken quickly, it may sound like lá gaw (ละก็). Both laew gaw (แล้วก็) and laew gaw(แล้วก็) are commonly used in spoken language.
@@IgetThais thanks for the reply, this clears up the question!
