      The stock 24v stuff won’t handle the 36v as it’s a on/off throttle not variable. I have an over volt kit on my website for sale now in the description, check it out !

    For your next upgrade, you should try to do a shunt bypass mod. It made a big difference with acceleration, on my mx500. And if you can get a controller from a mx500 or mx650. Those controllers can take 50v. One problem I did have, after the shunt bypass mod, was that one of the 30 amp fuses blew. So I replaced it with a 40 amp. I think your mx350 would go 25 maybe 30, with another battery.

    I have an MX350 for my daughter. I have one 24V 4ah battery hooked up with the goal of doing parallel batteries for a longer ride. I'm curious about what my options are to make that happen. My thought was to solder the wires of one caddy to the spades of the other caddy. My other thought was to try and merge the wires of both caddies into a single wire. My concern is if it will be functional. I don't know enough to understand if it'll create issues. Any thoughts?

    • @JordyBuilds
      @JordyBuilds  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      You would want to wire the other 24 V battery in parallel with the other batteries. If you use proper connectors, you can cut the wires and use connectors for everything.

But there are only 3 wires left. 2 of the same looking ones which I think is the brakes and one other which is the charger. That would mean if we only use one of the brake wires I would have 2 plugs that I wouldn’t be using. You said 3. Did you make a mistake or is my controller different than yours. Thansk

    • @JordyBuilds
      @JordyBuilds  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Your have very low amp output for 72v and that’s really stressing the batteries but it’s been done. 18x4=72v and they should drain evenly if they are all same charge and capacity(ah)

    Haven't used drill batteries yet. But I did wire in an extra 12v battery, cut just one motor lead. Have it on a switch, one way normal. The other setting the motor sees 12v with no throttle, throttle gives you the normal 24v.

      I'm trying to do the same thing. I got an identical 12 volt 7 amp battery out of a jumper box. Just added the third battery in series and then I got some quick connect stuff so I can charge the original two batteries with the original charger and use my AC/DC quick charger for the third battery. So after every charge I have to connect those wires back up into series. However after doing all that crap I'm just using stock 350 controller. I don't feel like I'm getting any more speed out of three batteries. It might even be running slower. Thought it might be a charging issue. I am definitely no electrical engineer. Are there any more details you can share with me about getting a stock mx350 to run on 36 volts with a third 12 volt battery. Or do I need to buy some upgraded electronics? Everything I try to do I try to do is cheaply or free as possible so you know... Lol
