I would love to see more meal prep especially protein intake content from you. I've been post menopause since age 47 and I will be 51 this fall. I love your clean delicious recipes!
Cut out carbs and eat more salads. My suggestion is to eat salad especially Caesar salad for breakfast and then salad with protein for lunch. I know it sounds extreme try to eat 10 veggies by two o’clock in the afternoon. I am 68 years old. The older you become you get fat around your middle it is imperative to eat less food in general. Give up most bread. Treat bread like sugar. If your body has fat bread is carb and will be stored as fat. Foods high in collagen are boiled eggs, poultry, shrimp, wild caught fish and anchovy paste. Stay away from commercial salad dressing if you use them reduce and measure by the tablespoon. You will thank me later after menopause you loose collagen especially in your face. I am 68 and just noticed two small wrinkles for the first time on my face and the skin on my eyelids and near the corner of my smile. Also with aging the lips are not as plump. Aging requires a change in the type and quantity of food you eat. Youcannot eat what children or husband eat.

I’m 70, have been diagnosed with osteoporosis and I’m now faced with changing the way I exercise because there are certain exercises I should not do. I’ve been doing research and I need more protein in my diet. I eat meat occasionally but prefer to get protein in other ways so yes I would love to see how you incorporate protein in your diet. I would love to see videos on your meal prep, current meals, recipes, etc. I am interested in increasing my own protein intake (I eat a lacto ovo vegetarian diet) and can always use all the ideas for increasing the protein intake for my littles (one is very picky and the other has multiple food allergies).

I'm in the same boat. I'm 55, post menopause, on hrt, trying to build muscle and protect bones with regular strength training and pilates and walking. I practice intermittent fasting, so I'm trying to get 90-100 grams in the afternoon and evening meals. I'm getting better, but always looking for more whole food, high protein ideas. I eat everything, but I'm delaying sugar and fast food for a month or so. I've finally ditched diet brain, which is liberating. Nothing is off limits, but I'm willing to delay some things to see some progress. I've also learned to get to bed by 9. Sleep is everything.

I'll just put this out there that I had some pretty intense hot flashes. One that lasted several hours and I almost passed out. I went carnivore and in about 3 weeks my hot flash were completely gone. My energy level came up and I wanted to get projects completed again. I eat 95% animal products but also have an occasional salad and relish condiments like bbq sauce and mustard. In less than a year I've lost 20 pounds and so much more active. I look forward to eating and always walk away sated. I look forward to eating. meat and cheese I eat lots of fat, and protein. Not a lot of willpower needed when tonight's dinner is a large ribeye steak.

I love this! So great to read. There are a lot of things you can do to continue to see success. I would focus on increasing protein + veggies if you haven't already and try to increase daily steps. Simple things - but a good place to explore.
I've noticed that my body craves whole, healthy foods, like a big Greek salad! Whenever I eat something highly processed (cakes, store bought bread etc.) it doesn't even taste very good. I have to watch the carb intake, however, as I start to gain weight if I eat too much.

I would love go get some tips on increasing protein. I have pcos and awful sugar cravings. I've learnt increasing protein has help stabilise blood sugars. However I also have ibs and don't tolerate a lit of protein so any meal prep around this would give me some tips. Thanks.

She can look to incorporate more vegetarian protein sources like tofu, lentils, Greek yogurt, eggs, and cottage cheese.
