    I just cannot express to you how motivational you are!!! I, too, suffered from an eating disorder 3 years ago and currently growing out all the fragile, broken hairs. It's amazing what a difference nutrition makes in your body/beauty!! Now it is my goal to remedy that and love myself. I take GNC Womens Ultra Mega (without iron and iodine) and have seen a dramatic difference in hair and nails.
    Antonia, thank you for your wonderful tips . May you and yours have a blessed holiday!! Xoxo

      Aw thank you so much Amber! And sending hugs and love to you. Having an eating disorder really sucks the life out of you. Glad you are doing better! Also glad to hear you are taking a multi vitamin. The human body is fascinating how it can heal and repair. Merry Christmas Amber 🎄❤️❤️❤️

    I so agree with the brushing to make it look thicker!! I literally didn’t figure this out until right around this time last year and I’ve been on my hair journey for almost 7 years now. Whoops! But your hair looks beautiful as usual and I’m glad I finally got some time to sit down and watch this video :)

    • @naturallyantonia
      @naturallyantonia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aw thank you so much! 💖 Yes brushing can make our hair look nice and full. For awhile I was just using a comb and sure it detangle but I feel it didn't give me as much volume as a brush does.

    • @JTandSerenity
      @JTandSerenity 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Naturally Antonia yeah definitely not! I feel Liek the comb makes a bunch of separations whereas the brush fluffs it all together !

    Congratulations in recovering from ED I’m also recovered . Also I hated how layers made my hair thinner looking I like all one length. I love your videos they are so soothing. Your hair is beautiful. I’m afraid to get a trim they cut it all short.

    • @naturallyantonia
      @naturallyantonia  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you very much! Congratulations to you as well! Ed's suck the life out of us, glad you are recovered and in a better spot now! Yes all one length looks thicker and makes it easier for braids and buns. Getting trims can be scary if you don't trust others but once you find a trusted hair stylist, friend /family member, or diy it's a game changer.💜🌿

    I use henna and indigo 50:50 mix to dye my grays. It is a pain to do but my scalp and hair do not like chemicals anymore. I temper the henna with a bit of aloe powder. It gives it more moisture and slip. I also treat it like I would hair regular dye and just do my roots. Because it is very strengthening. Maybe every other time I’ll run the mixture through the rest of my hair mixed with conditioner. Like a refresher. I did find a more natural chemical hair dye 😂 by Umberto Giannini. I’ll dye my hair line by the temples because that grows out under a month and I don’t like gray against my naturally greenish skin tone. 🧟‍♀️ it seems ok and not irritating and as damaging but as I well know damage can lie in wait sometimes. Waiting for the next unhealthy decision. Then whammo! No more hair.

    • @naturallyantonia
      @naturallyantonia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have heard a lot of good things about henna. Because henna contains protein it can be drying for some people, I like the idea about the aloe powder for slip. Thanks for sharing your journey with me. Keep me posted on how it turns out. 🙂 ❤️

    I’ve been using HENNA, but I think my hair likes the organic dye a little better. My hair is very pro Tien sensitive and that may be why it’s a little drying. I still like it, but I prefer the die.

    I want to try the Avalon organics I love the innate life shampoo and conditioner is there a reason my hair toke a while to get usto these? Maybe build up from other silicon shampoos?! My hair does well with Argan oil😊

    • @naturallyantonia
      @naturallyantonia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Eileen! Switching shampoos and conditoners is a weird thing, could be build up. Also sometimes hair might need moisture and others protein. The Maple Holistic Argan shampoo and conditioner has a little protien in it where The Innate Life is mainly moisturizing ingredients. It's always good to have a couple different shampoos and conditoners and rotate them. 🙂 ❤️

    Why do they not display the amount of each vitamins it contains in full locks? I seen where it tells you which vitamins but not how much or if you take just one or more a day… is this a legit company, how long have you used them for?

    • @naturallyantonia
      @naturallyantonia  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Sarah, I agree that is a bit weird. It is a legit brand, smaller and not as well known. Since this video I am now taking Alive Multi Vitamins for Women, one a day, they also makes gummies if you don't like pills and I prefer this vitamin more. You can buy alive at lost drug stores, health foods stores, and even grocery stores. The one for women also contains a special hair skin nail blend. ❤️

    I used to have really thick hair and now it‘s not anymore.. I have no idea what happened.

    • @naturallyantonia
      @naturallyantonia  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could be due to a lot of things like hormones, especially if you have had children. Can also be genetic, stress, mechanical damange, chemical damange, heat damange, dye damange, nutritional deficiencies etc. Finding the root cause can be helpful in thickening it back up. For me it was due to a combo of nutritional deficiencies, and heat /dye damange. Getting blood work and seeing doctors can also be helpful in determining if it's medical. If it is hereditary it's all about finding the best products that work best for your hair type and trial and error. ❤️
