Glad to see Wellsville is still kickin ass!! Used to go there all the time back in the 80s n 90s with my CR500! Wicked hills require wicked bikes lol. Wasn't much I couldn't climb. Awesome vid!! Maybe 1 day I'll make it back, but at 62 I'll be just cruising the trails on my sportsman 500ho. 🖒✌😉

Back in the day I rode national enduros. I trained at Wellsville. Wellsville was so tuff a training ground that it made national 150 to 175 mile enduros seem easy. Love that place!
Coming up we had a hill just like this close to my house, we called it Dynamite hill. Now it's covered with houses, no more riding there. Fire it up Oddly enough, we also had a place about 20 miles up the road called Lookout reservoir. Lots of good party's there. I live in Oregon, its a small world.

I love the fact that you guys rode your dirt bikes to the hill climb. I didn't see any EMTS on site. This event has a wild and wooly aspect. Kinda like a Woodstock in the woods.
I used to ride back in the 80s and 90s on an old strip mine in West Central PA. Lots of hill climbs, nothing but two strokes. Four strokes were glorified street bikes with knobby tires. A camera can’t begin to show how steep something is in person. Especially if you hit it hard and don’t make it. Man’s biggest obstacle on a dirt bike… gravity. Man I miss it, too old now
I sure do miss places and gatherings like this. Just does not happen here in Montana. Oh we have trails and hills....but no "organized" party's like this at places like this. Looks like a damn fun time.

That's just a little hill, although very difficult. There's hills down there you can't see the top of! Just up n up n up.... and try like hell to make it lol. I tackled it many a times not always making it to the top but it sure was a great time. Came out of it mostly unscathed, others not so lucky. Almost broke my back years back at this very spot. Broke 4 ribs, fractured collar bone, two broken wrist and REALLY jacked my back up.
