Mr. Wildman is the cat's meow of KB instructors, but let an amateur (with a bad back) reinforce his 'start light' thing. A well-done kb swing just feels so good, & is so good for martial arts that it's easy to let the ego add more weight ... coming off a couple of months of forced leisure due to an SI injury due to too heavy weight w/out preparation ... to progress fast go light:: tendons & connective tissue get stronger much slower than muscle fibers. Thx for the great channel.
I swing them out. I swing them in. I use 15 lbs when i begin. I move them with care and avoid my knee because when I hit them there I shout oh geez. (If Dr Seuss was swinging heavy clubs or kettle bells. 😂) This tutorial rocks. Adding this to my routines. Wildman is awesome, so much to learn. Thank you. I started doing 10 minutes straight with a 25lbs kettle bell after warming up with about 5 minutes with a 15 lbs heavy club. Did this 4 days this past week. My lats were rocked. My back and arms were worked very well and my legs were feeling it too. I'm very thankful.
All these different core exercises some of them are a challenge to do right. But you only need to do one, the single kettle bell swing. It’s reasonably easy to do.
Not tried that before, even with an 8kg kettlebell that becomes hard work. Was doing it for a minute either side and did 5 sets. I’m into mtb’ing and have been using kettlebells ever since the gyms shut down during COVID and this looks a good one to include for the core and forearm/grip strength. Keep up the good work mate👍🏻
Master Shifu, speaking of core exercise. I learned about the psoas from your videos and as a decent woodworker, I made myself a “pso rite.” I have tried one technique however that you might also approve of to loosen my psoas. I use a ten lbs kb. I hook my toes under the handle and pick up using my tibialis, my hip flexors and I believe my psoas also. I cant say for sure this works, but my “sciatica” pain in my right hip seems to vanish, and it hurts less than the pso rite by a lot. I am wondering if you have ever seen or tried a “reverse squat” lift like this and how well you would say it works. Thanks.
It's a competition KB, they have all the same outer dimensions, differently from the "hard style" kbs, e.g. from DragonDoor, which are proportionally bigger in every respect with ascending weights.

What beautiful sky.

Amazing demonstration of athleticism. I don't even care if the bells were completely hallow. Truly impressive.

If your in the uk I can highly recommend Wolversons for your KB needs. They have competition bells and also sell an adjustable bell.

My question is can I do this with osteoarthritis in my neck and lower back as well as stenosis in both? Or should I consult my doctor or ask a pt?
Thanx for the video👍
What is this? Kettlebell windmills?
This is great content. I also have golfers elbow. Do you have any recommendations for rehabbing this kind of injury?
Don't golf.

If really severe, I'd take a break from exercise. If not, I'd use dead hangs or maybe a gentle extended warm up routine as the entirety of my workout

Mills and Reverse Mills...MW has numerous videos on these and variations of....one key cue is straight elbows
I have a disc bulge and I am finding my club and Mace a lot more. What you suggest with this issue. Reduce weight and continue or stop completely 🤔
Hit up a proper physio and validate your condition and workout.
I know it is a lot to ask, sir, but are you having any Black Friday sales?
yup. its on the website. it went live sunday morning
Does anyone know where Bells of Steel are manufactured? Especially their competition kettlebell.
Same place as everything else, it looks identical to KB Kings comp bells.
@jprice_ Pro Kettlebells are made here and they are similar in price to Rogue and KK Kettlebells in price.
Pretty sure it's China 🇨🇳 will check and get back
The window on that small kettlebell seems to tall, or is that just an illusion?

@@muxmurki1497 it kinda looks like comp KB but that's not a comp kb, it's smaller than the required dimensions
Standing inside of an unweighted trap bar can help keep the feet straight while doing this
