I had fun with this game only because I didn't have a Wii U and making custom Mario levels is a dream come true. But now that Mario Maker is coming back, and on a console I own, I can finally experience what Mario maker is supposed to be like.

and i really wanted pink coin in september. i did it, even though there were almost NO tutorials how to get it.
I found the final world pretty easy, but playing levels to unlock everything is ridiculous. So glad they're ditching that in SMM2

i really had a struggle with world 19, LET ALONE UNLOCKING IT!
i had to play through a bunch of levels, getting atleast 40 medals to UNLOCK it.
I then had to play 12 more levels to unlock the ELEMENTS.

My younger brother had gotten this game for Christmas 2018. And me, always willing to try any new game, wanted to play it on my 2DS. So one night, I played it on my 2DS. Turns out, his data was erased, and he was FURIOUS. That's our secret though.
I hate how they tried this "Community" crap. They should have done online. Nintendo didn't realise that not everyone owns a 3ds or a copy of Mario Maker 3DS. The lack of online straight up ruins it. What's the point of making troll I MEAN fun levels if people can't play them?

3DS is the bogus edition. If you don't have a wii u or a switch, then you can try it. But you can't share levels online. That alone makes creating levels pointless, as no one will play them. Oh, but they stuffed in some more streeeeeetpaass!!!! Everyone's favorite feature...
Might as well. I only got this game because it was right when it came out and all I had was a 3ds, not a Wii U. Now that 2 is coming out in less then two weeks, you should really just wait. I played the hell out of 3ds and it was very limiting. Only reason I really enjoyed it was because it was my only option

i didn’t think it was possible to get worse than CinemaSins, but somehow you did it.
What I think this really needed was a way to transfer your levels from the 3DS to Wii U and the other way around so when you’re leaving your house, you could still work on a level.
Edit: The port is horrendous, all things considered. It’s crazy how they never thought of this, yet I did, and I’m currently a freshman.

got the 3d's version cause it was onele y $20.00 and the Wii u version $60.00. I was a bit annoyed that you had to clear these challenge modes to unlock parts and even though their wer some agrivating moments during the gameplay it's not too hard once you start getting a hang of things. I saved $40.00 soI'.m happy and I got all parts eventually. I'll probley get the Wii u version later as it's the oneley game on eshop I still want.
@Tayshon Johnson I got a Wii u but not a switch and I have Mario maker on the wii u now but I don't have plans for a switch. 300$ is a bit beyond what I'm willing to pay for a new system and I got a wii, Wii u, ps2 and 3d's so I'd rather enjoy what I got then spend more money on a new system.
2:12 The Game is made for New 3DS. It works on old 3DS but it isn't the best way to play it as these 3DS are slower no matter what.

@@fzpck4582 I never liked the Streetpass feature they kept pushing on the 3DS. I've also never played Fortnite, cause it's not my sort of game. Splatoon I can get behind, but if it's battle royale, I'll stick with Tetris 99!
