- You're watching the last ever concert of the superband Queen. This is their last ever performance of Radio Ga Ga, written by Roger Taylor.
The audio is a combination of the official album "Live Magic", an audience recording taken from the bootleg "Thank You All", and the video source.
The video is a combination of the audience video, the official Rare Live VHS, and various official documentaries.
The intro comes from a slideshow of pictures from this concert - เพลง
I was one of the privileged to be at this....the last live concert of Queen
I was there too , no one knew at the time it would be their last live performance, so sad in hindsight that it wasn’t filmed 😢
As was I :)
I was there too xx
3:23 ,is a mesmerizing scene.
I was there. I remember looking round during the chorus of this song, seeing 200,000 people doing the 'clap and reach' and saying to my mate 'politicians would kill for this sort of power over an audience'.
I WAS THERE - IT WAS AMAZING - I WAS ABSOLUTELY TRANSFIXED WHEN FREDDIE TOOK THE STAGE AS WERE ALL THE AUDIENCE - I CANNOT BELIEVE THERE IS NOT AN OFFICIAL VIDEO OR THAT PEOPLE DO NOT APPRECIATE IT WAS THE LAST QUEEN CONCERT- I AM STILL AFTER NEARLY 30 YEARS IN AWE !!!
The only filmed tape that is not deleted is at 5:28 but i hope they still have the video tapes and will publicy it anytime
Susan Bird Out of interest, Did you notice him struggle at all towards the end? Ive seen that people noticed him struggling towards the end of the show
He put on a brave face, but that gig was the beginning of the end, on a documentary, he said he was tired and left without telling anyone.
Wow, was it a 2 hour concert? I bet it was amazing to see in person
I was there aswell best band ever on this earth
all the people commenting they witnessed this, you guys are so lucky!
quirky mermaid28 I live in Stevenage and was at the front of this superb show having seen them at the Milton Keynes bowl in 82. Of course that show was recorded so I can relive it but it’s such a shame this show, which no one knew at the time would be Freddie’s last with his 3 mates was never fully recorded because it was an epic one to witness.
yeah they are so lucky:(
I agree I was 15 in '86 and not allowed to go cry cry cry!!
Anyone witness the guy being killed?
Freddie last Concert. I absolutely need a time machine.
Mirko Amicizia right
Wrong. This is his last concert WITH QUEEN. His last LIVE one was April 9, 1988 Dominion Theatre
Contact Dr Emmet Brown, he can hook you up. You’re welcome! Cheers😉
@@johanaxeback I’d call a Doctor 😉

I was there with my lovely friend sue who's funeral I attended yesterday, precious memories of sue and Freddie, sleep well xxxxx
You and your friend had the greatest experience, my condolences
i was there , in the video at the front 5.18-5.23 orange vest, clapping , and saw the best live convert ever !!!
Thanks a ton for sharing. This stuff is so interesting.
I was beside you
Awesome mate
I was right at the back near the beer tent when Queen were on. Silly me! :)
5:18
I was so fortunate to go to this concert! It was an amazing day. Little did we know that this would be their last with Freddie. 😞
I was there, right down the front. I'll never forget that day it was amazing. 100 thousand in the crowd, I remember looking back at at a sea of people and at one point it seemed like it was raining plastic bottles. What an atmosphere, queen were amazing.
i was about halfway back, what an awesome day. It cost me £14 for the ticket, I wonder what it would cost today??
Proud to be able to say ....." I was there !! " a day ill never forget, Queen were awesome
They still are awesome
I was there too! My 4th Queen concert:'75, '77, '79, & '86 at Knebworth. Thank you Freddie, John, Brian & Roger, what a group!
6:10
We are gathered here today to remember John’s bass guitar
brings back memories August 9th 1986, best concert I have ever been to in 64 years on this planet.
My mum was at this, she passed in 2012 though ❤️
rhona aw sorry for your loss. I can't imagine losing a mom
❤️🤘
@@snoopyr1953 well you're gonna one day if not already 🙄
@davebain1982 what's with the negativity? Snap it off
Roger's voice almost overtunes Freddie's in this one 😂😍
Late reply: Overpowers?
Roger , just gotta be the best raspy throated singer there ever was
I think queen were the only band in the world that their music sounded even better when played live comparing to the studio version! Unbelievable!
for bands, it's queen, for solo artists it's mj
I was there. It remained my most cherished memory to this day. What an honour
I wish I could go back in time just to see this live!
I was there!! The best concert I've ever been too - felt privileged to be in the audience
I was so lucky to have seen them at Wembley and Knebworth 86...
I saw alot of bands in the 80s,
Pink Floyd, U2, Genesis, Metallica, Bruce Springsteen, G & R, and many more! but none of them can ever touch Queen and Freddie..
DAMN! Wembley AND Knebworth? Which Wembley concert was it? The first or second night?
@@jestergrass it was the second night!
@@rachelphillips9438 oh, alright!
I was there! It was the first concert I went to - I was 14. I didn't even want to go!!!!! I went with my parents. I wanted to go the roller disco but so glad I was there!!!
Pleased to say that i was there that day
06:09 angry john
😂😂
😂😂
@@Dave_Albright he knew this was his last performance with Freddie. Or he was depressed bc of his family
@@furunamaxd freddie was diagnosed in 87 and this was his last concert of the tour not forever, even tho it was but he didn't know that at the time. It was probably depression or something like that
@@dylanward4187 they had an idea that he might have been sick
Watching this brings tears to my eyes. What an amazing concert this was!!
I was given 2 tickets by a very lovely, very friendly, motorcycle courier, called Rob who often came into the Mercury Communications office near Tower Bridge. It was the first big concert I'd every experienced. I have to admit I wasn't even a Queen fan at the time - but ever since the first note they played I've been a big big fan! I've been to lots of concerts since, but none have moved me quite like this one did!
I just wish there was a professionally filmed version of this concert. If they produced one, I'm sure everyone that attended would buy it - someone could make a fortune!!!
What a shame there isn't a good recording of it I think that is a shame
I bet Queen has something. Brian recorded every single concert they ever did. So at least the soundboard audio is there.
Still better than without a video.
The greatest live singer imo ever. Don’t seem like 27 years since his passing rip Freddie gone but never forgotten.
This day...30 years.... The World has to miss so much more wonderfull songs of him. R.I.P. Freddie Mercury!
I was at this concert. It blew me away! Fantastic concert. In hindsight, so glad that I got to see Queen live.
Me too. 16 years old, lost my mates, stood all day on my own......loved it, absolutely loved it
its one of my lasting memory of that day looking round and seeing every body with their hands in the air all clapping at the same time pure magic
His last concert, my heart hurts
So glad I went to see queen at knebworth. Still remember how fantastic the crowd where on that day. Queen forever. Love it love it love it xxx
I love to listen to Queen, ever since I heard BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY. Freddie Mercury was another star who died way too soon.
That was gorgeous for sure 👑 to be in the audience - 😊 Freddie I still miss you ❤😢
it actually wasnt good to be in that audience because it was so packed that someone died!
but a great concert none the less
Soy. Tu. Fans 😍😍😍😍😍😍😘😘🤣🤣🤣😂😂
What stage presence... . Amazing
6:10 calm down john hahaha
Love you Freddie. You are so missed by so many.❤
I was there! I will never see another concert that will come anywhere near it. Thank you Queen x
Is the last time Freddie sing Radio GaGa live?! 😢😭❤
Yep.
The last of all songs
Believe me, if I could go back and visit that day again I would...
at 6:08.. guys, try watching john deacon near from freddie, you can see he threw his bass guitar..
What ? John or freddie ?
radio ga ga the best song!
Ich habe Queen 1981 live in Köln gesehen. Ich war 16 jahre jung u seitdem absoluter fan...
i took my then girlfriend to this gig she wasn,t a massive queen fan ,i was but she came away on cloud nine ,floating ,there never was and never will be another entertainer who can hold a crowd like freddie could rip freddie 23 years
I am so fortunate to have seen them a few days before this at Slane castle Ireland. They were of course Brilliant!
Amazing, a piece of history. Lucky people that were there!
This was the first gig I ever went to, aged 13. I won a pair of tickets in a newspaper competition. From then, I decided that my future career was going to be "Rock star" Still hasn't happened though...
Has it happend?
All of the people who have ever seen Queen while they were all together, are truly lucky. Especially if you saw their last concert.
It's even sad to know that this was their last concert .
I was there.... Guy in the white uniform with the awesome stache' singing the lyrics
Que bien ¡ gracias por compartirlo .
Thx. I replayed it, & I saw it, thx. for the post~~!~ ♥
I was there too. The support act was Big Country . Also saw them at Live Aid Wembley, the year before.
Thank you for having these Films
Obrigado por existir essas filmagens
I wish concerts would go back to the same way they used to be once, where there were no phone cameras and people actually lived the concert and sang and clapped along.
I am glad someone captured this moment forever etched in time. A great song only QUEEN could have performed and the crowd so into it. Freddies voice is perfect for this song as only he can sing it. A truly unbelievable, one of a kind performer and yes he is loved and missed...
increíble Freddie inigualable
Amazing. I Love Queen My Favourite Band EVER.
I'd sit alone and watch your light
My only friend through teenage nights
And everything I had to know
I heard it on my radio
This is possibly my favorite song! Freddie Mercury is gorgeous!!!
I'd sit alone and watch your light
My only friend through teenage nights
And everything I had to know
I heard it on my radio
You gave them all those old time stars
Through wars of worlds invaded by Mars
You've made 'em laugh, you've made 'em cry
You've made us feel like we could fly
So, don't become some background noise
A backdrop for the girls and boys
Who just don't know or just don't care
And just complain when you're not there
You've had your time, you've had the power
You've yet to have your finest hour
Radio
All we hear is Radio Ga Ga
Radio Goo Goo
Radio Ga Ga
All we hear is Radio Ga Ga
Radio Blah Blah
Radio, what's new?
Radio, someone still loves you
We watch the shows, we watch the stars
On videos for hours and hours
We hardly need to use our ears
How music changes through the years
Let's hope you never leave, old friend
Like all good things, on you we depend
So, stick around, 'cause we might miss you
When we grow tired of all this visual
You had your time, you had the power
You've yet to have your finest hour
Radio
All we hear is Radio Ga Ga
Radio Goo Goo

Me and my Husband where also at this concert shame we did not know that would have been his last live concert buit what a great day.
9 de agosto del año 1986.
Último show de Queen.
This song....💣💣💣💣💣literally makes me happy. 😃
I wasn't there but my radio still goes GAGA
i have allways been a big queen fan seen them a number of times but knebworth was just out of this world
Was amazing day, the weather was so hot, and Queen were out of this world, my arms well ached by the end of radio gaga..........Long live Queen.....
Nowadays, crowd doesn't calp anymore ; people film.
In the Lap of the Gods true, I saw Queen +Adam Lambert in 2017 and everyone was trying to film the clapping but in trying to do that everyone had there phones so no one could clap. I did though, and I got my mom to do it.
@@Astrtrain they should ban smartphones while they're in a concert
@@woodonfire7406 agreed
Wood on Fire well then a fucking Nokia with a camera would go in
they still do lmao
This is heaven for sure😭
Memories! It was - and still is - the best gig of my life.
Got there early and found a place right at the front. Halfway through the afternoon, my girlfriend needs the toilet!?!
So we go right back to the top of the hill... When she's done, I grab her hand and make sure I get us back to exact same spot we started at!!
Right at the front/center, leaning on the padded barrier.
Unbelievable.
I was there, best concert ever
Los masssss ...la mejor banda del mundo❤❤❤👑💫
Iconic.
Great Audio and decent video quality!
Assolutamente straordinario dopo trent'anni grandi
A privilege i stòod on the day of my 17th birthday , Freddie thank you sleep tight x
I was there . amazing gig.
Before this he said "I can't fucking do this anymore" breaks my heart everytime thinking about it
This is one of my favourite Queen songs
RIP FREDDIE (Jim and Jer and Bami)
I was lucky enough to be there that night still have the tickets stub and official concert patch
Radio Gaga is my favorite song of all time and i like to watch the live version because i like to watch Freddie and Roger sing together
I was there from start to finish first saw them in the 70s 80s killer queen God bless Freddie thanks
What shows did you attend, if you remember?
6:10
Why did John Deacon throw his bass guitar?
Maybe he thought it was the last song?😄
he's drunk and angry because it's their last concert
Rimma Avetisyan not
Cheesyanton there was an interview where Roger said that john was going through a difficult time
I think the album "Live Magic" has got quite a lot of Knebworth excerpts on. (plus a few bits from Wembley, and Under Pressure from Budapest. Great album.
What a day that was, best ever. Can't believe it was 32 years ago.
Freddie we still love you.
@pittrek81 Thanks mate, I never noticed that on the documentary, but now I'm not sure if I have seen the new release you mention. Funny just finding out now 25 years later as I met Roger several times in private and public or I might've asked him myself!!Poor John, cos he's the quiet one in the background we probably all think he just ticks along unwaveringly, or maybe just me! I love John Deacon.
@TheMinerva82 There are some "hints" on the new BluRay release of the "Days Of Our Lives" documentary. The guy who makes the interview asked Roger directly why John did that, and Roger answered that John was going through a hard period of life on the tour and was drinking a lot
I was there right at the front what an amazing night such brilliant preformer ❤
A great Day. My first concert
It's been 32 years...!
I was there to remember the huge traffic jam and I also remember it was a typical English summers day, all those people wow it was a great gig everybody rocked..
30 years ago today
Freddie, you Made me cry
I'm there, 2nd row, awesome!
'cus we might miss you when we wrong tired of all these ...music, Freddie!
sweet dreams to all !!!
