Freddie Mercy getting thousands upon thousands upon thousands of fans to move their hands in unison is one of the greatest moments in rock concert history.
He's HIV positive, knows he will probably die sooner than later and yet performs and holds the crowd in the palm of his hand. Simply incredible!
I'd be honored if some Queen fans would take a quick listen to my acoustic piano & vocal YT performance of RADIO GA-GA in tribute to Freddie's vocals and Roger's songwriting. Live with no autotune or digital editing. Peace & stay safe.
There are not THAT many people lol and even if, you really think queen is the only one that can maintain an audience?🤣🤣🤣
@@luciendhooge7361 In that moment, he was not defined by HIV positive, he lived the performance he created for the moment in full Freddie Mercury with nothing holding him back, he was one with his audience and they were one with him. So freaking beautiful to see.

Not a single cell phone… just 100,000+ people witnessing one of the greatest moments in music history.. simply beautiful
The upside to having a phone at a concert is reliving the moment, I wish I could go back in time to when Slipknot played in Corpus Christi, Texas in 2008 with the phone I have now, I could've got the moment where Christopher Fehn ran through the crowd and pushed my sister out the way
Camera phone a flushing tool of current times

He was at Wembley the home of Football....

My goodness, each of the members were perfect in their talent and made Queen perfect! They respected each other and knew each was talented. No one was more important than another.
Yes.
Freddie thought he was, hence why he went solo. Then realised he needed "Queen" behind him. The rest is history
I'm a late bloomer to Queen. Oh what I missed! I can't get enough of Queen and Freddy. Thank you Freddy. RIP

I've been in 100,000 sporting events, in fact only a few weeks previous at Wembley when the rugby league final was on, no way was there only 72000 people at Wembley for Live Aid, i'd say over 120,000. Queen had sold 150,000 at Wembley in 1976 so I think it'd be closer to that than 72000

Stunning beautiful voice and everything about him x
The best and the most charismatic showman of all times. Period.
This is life. No phones, no mask.
I'm going to have to disagree with this. Although he's quite possibly the best singer to sing live, ever... Robbie Williams would have to take the charismatic showman title.
@@Josh92SA A good runner up, but not the most charismatic individual. Bowie is my favourite tho cus he is just all about that music 😍
That will be Michael Jackson
@@Chan-zv5kb Freddie was the best frontman, Bowie was the best solo artist. And together they were pure magic.
Also, my heart was broken when each of them died, over 25 yrs apart. I may be agnostic, but I like to think that they're rocking out together now, fronting the best band in the afterlife. Jimi's on lead guitar; Chris Cornell's got rhythm and backing vocals; Cliff Burton's on bass, handing off to Lemmy when he wants a go; John Bonham and Neal Peart are having week long drum-offs, and Kurt Cobain's just layering some extra guitar noise over everything. This is an afterlife I could really get into.
I'm so touched that all people clapped their hands singing together with the legend. I wanna take the time machine back to the 80's to join them!
