I started the quest line UC all the way, but then I got accused of murder by Ikande, even though I completed the stealth mission without killing anyone. I was like, you ungrateful bastard. All I did was knock over one cleaning robot with a silencer, and you embarrass me in front of the whole crew? Oh it’s on now. I’m taking the entire United Colonies down for that.

Wow. I "killed" a robot that followed me down into one of the vents. Nobody heard or noticed it, so it was the only enemy I had to "kill". Wonder wwhat he's gonna say to _that_ ? - IF I can complete the mission, that is. I've tried three times, but the downloading sequence won't complete. It just lets me stand there beside the dead Kryx and nothing happens. Now I may have to be blamed for murdering a piece of metal on top of it all?! :D
I think I'm gonna side with the Fleet. I don't like the way Naeva behaves, but I don't like the way Ikande behaves either, and his leutenant isn't any better. Ironically it's Delgado who behaves the least awful of the lot.
Okay, I had to reload an earlier save, and then it went as it's meant to. - Wait, I see a pattern here. Wasn't there this other mission... oh, and that other mission - and those two missions - where I had to do the same.
Ah well, I still enjoy this game a lot. 😄

I wiped out several outposts of spacers, eclipse and fleets and somewhere along the line picked up some contraband, didnt even know what contraband it was until after that i picked up one bag of xenowarfare tech, got arrested without trial and threatened with life in prison unless I agreed to a suicide mission.

So are the UC and CF questlines exactly the same until you decide? Join UC, go undercover, play CF, then choice? After these endings is it just random quests there on out?
Yes they are exactly the same until your critical decision. Then it’s random quests after. If you do pick crimson fleet they will protect you and back you up more frequently in dog fights.
No, the UC SysDef Storyline is the CF storyline but there is also the UC Vanguard Storyline
You can fuck up the SysDef side of things if you kill people in the missions though.

@@SuccessTeBestRevenge I did the free star ranger missions and the free ship you get from them is far better than the mantis ship better weapons and stronger all around. It took me two tries to win but i do play on hard my first try i went straight at the uc that didn't work well second try i went to the outside edges and picked them off when they were fighting other ships. I guess you could change difficultly to very easy and then you would have a better chance against all those ships.

What is the point of watching the ending if you are going to skip through the dialogue?

I wasn't shown that option about choosing which one to go to first after the money ship. It just showed me to go to the key. lol
