Props to Armada and Hbox on being incredible at this game. Their consistency and mentality are a step above everyone right now and it shows. Well deserved GFs. Not gonna lie though, M2K and Mango broke my fucking heart. After the 3-0 on Armada in winner's, I was 100% convinced M2K could take it. I never wanted a set so bad in my time following the competitive scene than in M2K/Mango WFs and potentially GFs. After Mango clutched the set against Plup in GOAT fashion, nothing else could close out Summit 2. Then they crashed and burned. Probably the first time I've ever closed the stream; their losses hurt too much. I'm not proud of it now, of course. Just really believed ya know?

This is definitely the most insane Hbox vs Armada GFs. They both played such a high level. high stress set. It was a lot more aggro than usual too. Glad to see Armada pull through after the surprise M2K loss, but that's why Armada is the best, his professional attitude that keeps him from crumbling because he only focuses on winning rather than dwelling on his losses

I liked the anti-spoiler length of this video. Something more smashvids should have. Its always disappointing to see a 15min Grand Finals, because you know winners gonna win. ...but yeah, I should watch more livestreams.

0:01:35 even though melee has never been patched or updated offically, there are still a few differences between the pal (v. 1.2) and the ntsc (v. 1.0) version of the game.
Here a few examples
Fox's down and forward smashes are less powerful.
Fox's Up-Smash weakened, damage dropped from 18% in NTSC to 17% in PAL, and knockback dramatically weakened. For example, in PAL version, Peach would die to Fox's Up-Smash at as high as 83%. In the NTSC version, Peach only needs to be at 71% to be Star KO'd at Final Destination uncharged. A fully charged fully stale Up-Smash could kill Peach at 55% on Final Destination.
Yoshi's forward smash is more powerful.
Peach's dash attack is less powerful.
Luigi's neutral aerial is less powerful.
Ganondorf's down aerial inflicts less damage, from 22% in NTSC to 21% in PAL.
*19% on Ganon's down air and his fair has less knockback and knockback scaling.

He mid-air jumps forward and releases a back aerial at the apex of his jump; Hungrybox drifts towards armada with the remaining lag of the 31 frame back aerial. If Hungrybox chose to throw out another back aerial, he would have to wait through 8 frames of start up.

Why would you want Hbox to be number 1 and have to watch hour long fox vs puff grand finals over and over again
Brady Boles I think Puff is actually very interesting to watch. I've learned to appreciate how careful a Puff player has to be when they're going up against the offensive juggernaut that is Fox. Plus rest kills are extremely hype. Also I'm a 64 Jiggs main, so it's good to see Jiggs do well even in other smash games. There are many reasons why I want Hbox to be successful.
While I can appreciate the patience and the spacing skills that Hbox demonstrates, watching Puff vs Fox is not fun whatsoever. Armada v. Hbox in particular is a snoozefest where Hbox just backairs ten thousand times and Armada dash dances and occasionally fires a laser or two until they approach every minute or so.
Not to mention every top 8 is filled to the brim with foxes nowadays with Hbox being the main reason for it. People like to say that he's stopping 20XX by playing Jiggs, but in reality, he is causing everyone to pick up a fox.
