You don't need a special tool to remove the Rotor / Flywheel, but you do need to be careful.
Bolts used to crank it out are m8-1.25
Don't rush the job and you'll do it without damage.
I also forgot to mention that normally when you remove the Rotor the idler gear usually comes right off.

That’s one hell of a hack came right off no problem. Thanks.
Awesome!
Good video didnt need it on a warrior but i used the same method on an old Suzuki lt160 and i took a bit of cranking and it popped right off. Didnt bed anything at all. Only thi g was it did leave some indent from the bolt but doesnt effect the gear at all thanks for the video
Glad to help!
Thank you dawg
Can you please tell me what the tool looks like or the link please? Because I don’t know if a basic flywheel puller will work
This is one for a Grizzly to show you what it looks like, just search for one for the warrior

How did you get the rotor back on? Thanks
It should go on easily, it's only a problem removing it, if your having a problem with it going on something else is wrong
I need your help like right now what is the thread of the bolts
If you mean the bolts used to crank it out, m8-1.25
I do not recommend this video cause I did what he did and he clearly said that he wasnt going to bend anything and I get my spray gear really bad
@@brysonelliott2879 I did it without any issues these warriors suck to work on ngl I’m giving up I still can’t get past a rev limiter somewhere in the harness
It's the parking brake. Unplug it and connect both sides of the motor side harness together
When the flywheel is removed, is the centre part where the woodruff key lines up with supposed to spin freely or is the flywheel a solid unit. My shaft opening spins freely not sure if it's busted and don't want to pay 300 dollars for a new one if it isn't. I've replaced, starter clutch. And new starter. Still spinning freely and think my actual rotor is busted.
Let me look at the uncut video and see if I can answer your question
One thing in the meantime, the Shaft is a taper fit, look up the torque spec and make sure you have it torqued correctly
Thanks a mil for responding will give this a try in morning as Didnt torque it.@mreinsmith
I looked at a cut part and the slot for the woodruff key is cut into the taper of the shaft, so as long as it was tightened enough (even if it wasn't fully torqued) it shouldn't be spinning on the shaft
A bit difficult to explain but will try... The Rotor isn't spinning on shaft as the woodruff key is in place. The problem on mine seems to be that the Rotor seems to have been made In Factory in 2 separate pieces the part that slides over that with woodruff key and then the rest of it. My question is should the Rotor function as one part that locks in place. Or is the centre of the Rotor able to move independently of the Rotor or has mine broken loose?
