The guilty and Truman show connection (?)/reference makes sense, if you’ve ever seen the scene in Truman show where he actually exits the set and says his famous quote - that scene makes me think of how k-pop idols must feel, constantly being watched and observed by the public. Hell even Truman and the idols have a lot in common, we basically watch most of these idols lives, their every move, like the people who watched Truman did. And then you can kinda use that as a metaphor for guilty and rover, especially the scene I referenced, Truman finally leaves, he does not care about the people nor the producers, and he doesn’t recognize his past self just like mr. rover

my mind does what it always does and thought about existentialism. There is the notion that hell is other people because they have their own interpretation of you that can alter even your own interpretation of you. Living as others believe you should is considered living in bad faith, but it's incredibly difficult to live in good faith. In fact, if you are aware of the idea of good faith, some might say it's impossible. If you try to live in good faith, that's living according to the existential ideal rather than your own set of beliefs. Always changing as Mr. Rover, to me, sounds like an attempt to work around the idea, though the question of freedom is also interesting. According to existentialism, we are condemned to be free. In a world where we are apparently abandoned by any god, we have to act and be accountable for our own actions, even if we choose to do absolutely nothing. That's still a choice you make. We impact the overall human essence with our actions as well, becoming the other that is hell ourselves and defining the world we live in in our own ways.
