Thanks for live stream and good show, in addition. I keep telling people that this year is a rebuild year. It Always Is for a team with a new set of players. Best way to analyze this game today is to compare it to any game in the 2012 season. Aside from Marshawn, the LOB wasn't really hitting their stride, a few players needed replacing, but overall, todays team and yesterday's team are about even on their experience as a cohesive unit. It's a pain in the ass, but we have to have patience. Except for D. Williams. Sorry, dude, you gotta go. Give Shennault a slap upside the head on your way out.
We are SUCH a 4th quarter team! We MAKE SO MUCH MAGIC HAPPEN in the 4th quarter!! That 49ers game...Geno ran in that game winning touchdown down with 13 seconds on the clock! Today, 4th quarter with 5:34 on the clock and Charbonnet runs in that game winning TD. I could go back 20+ years and find games where we were behind... sometimes WAAAY BEHIND but we'll either go into OT and win or just do something fabulous and win ! Today we won in the 4th quarter with our Seahawk Magic Sauce! Something happens in that locker room during half time. I'm not sure if they rattle beads or sing or dance or sacrifice someone's good luck socks...but what ever it is they do....? They've been doing it for a very long long time. It makes for the absolute WORSE STRESS watching!! ... but then, when we win, we ask say "I wasn't worried! Oh hell no! I knew we'd pull it around!"... lying through our teeth. Come on... admit it. I do it all the time. I did it again today! Do I feel stupid? Yeah..a Lil bit. BUT WE WON!!!💚GO💙SEA💚HAWKS💙🎈🎈
The play that Macdonald had big cat line up in front of nose tackle and looked like he was coming for Rogers only to have him drop back in coverage out foxed Rogers on this play! This defense is jelling and becoming elite!
Great W for the team and 1st year head coach. To win a game like that is a statement to how our team handles adversity. We have a tough end stretch and I’ll be pumped if this team can make it to the playoffs and get that experience. We seriously need to get some maulers on our OLine, we can’t be a serious playoff contender without a strong run game and that happens with the trenches.
Question for you from a neophyte fan. The situation: Geno has the ball, he can't find an open receiver, tight end or running back. He keeps the ball and instead of running sideways or backwards, he takes a sack at the line of scrimmage or maybe gains a few yards by running forward. Is that impossible?
The special teams had a terrible day it that’s probably an outlier in terms of how bad they were and if you take that off the table jets don’t get over 10 points. Once again Def was elite The offence did some good stuff got the running game going some ( against a terrible run def but still nice to know they can do it
The Seahawks are just dumb enough to win enough games to get into the playoffs, so that they can be bounced out of the playoffs early and earn themselves a shottier set of draft picks.
Teams who care more about draft position than winning, always seem to have high picks year after year. This years draft is so weak that playing for a higher pick would be THE dumbest thing. Always play to win. Always.
It’s great to be a loyal fan, but honesty is always more important. Sometimes our eyes can be deceiving, but in this case, we’ve seen enough to know that it’s time for you and other fans to consider what’s truly best for the franchise. Those goal-line sequences where the Hawks came away with nothing are simply unacceptable. The offensive line is so weak that they have to max protect, leaving fewer receiving options and allowing defenses to flood the field with defensive backs. They can’t even handle a four-man rush, and once again, the play-calling was terrible. The defense bailed us out yet again and remains the only bright spot on this team. Oh, and the special teams coach needs to go as well.
Grubbs unforgivable sin is this baffling situational play calling, esp. in goalline situations (on either end of the field). It seems like he is sort of a contrarian personality and stubbornly trying to reinvent the wheel. At this point I'm wondering if he should even deserves to finish the season out. The passing game is the only thing that kind of works, and Jake Peetz is the passing game coordinator, so ...
What would it take for Dee Williams to get fired? Run the wrong way?! Good hell he is a constant let down! Yet there he is every week, letting us all down.
