It seems like he should be more willing to take off right? Every time it does, good things seem to happen. I'd also like to see more designed rollouts (or at least half-rolls) if/when the O-line is struggling to protect.
I just found this channel and I'm very glad I did. Love your opinion. Love your views and your stats are made. Subscribed. Remember you got me hooked. Go Hawks
Thank you, Dan, for your great work here! About Geno: whatever people think, behind this O-Line any young QB would just get trampled. So, let's let Geno not write back for another season or two, improve the O-Line step by step and meanwhile look around for his successor. And who knows, behind a less widely open O-Line, Geno might improve to a more than slightly-above-average QB. He had a hard job right now, no question. And he handles it as well as anyone could.
I really enjoyed this. You explained alot for me. You are as good as any of those pro NFL guys who talk about sports/ football for a livjng! I love Geno Smith. I thin I he has and does EVERYTHING we need in a QB to do. I've been defending him to anybody who talks crap about him. I'm his biggest fan. He's SO different than any quarterback I've ever known about. There are no negative things in the news about him. There are no fights, no drama, no aggression, no petty nonsense. No unsportsmanlike conduct or personal fouls. He's a gentleman on the field. We NEVER see him sweat. He never makes crazy dramatic faces. You never see him face to face, helmet to helmet with an opponent. He throws that ball with such power. He arguably one of the best ball throwing QB out there. There are so many ✔️ in ask the right boxes.i know NOTHING about his personal life. I don't even know if he's married. I don't knife anything about him except he's one of the best Quarterbacks of there. He's a leader. The guys trust him and look up to him abs shi do I and so should everybody else. I loved your vlog! You've taught me things about Geno I didn't I know. P.s, I love Tyler ,Lockett and i hope those he is praised and thanked for every ball he's ever caught and every touch down he's EVER run in. He's been the most unsung hero of ALL. He is alot like what i just said about Geno. If it's time for Tyler to retire than so be it, i would HATE to see him playing for any other team😢 that would be sad. I'll shut up now😂
WE WON!!!💙💚💙💚🎈🎈✨️🧨🔥 We beat the 49ers at their house! Geno Smith IS A ROCK STAR!!! OH MY GOD I SO HAPPY!!!😂🤣 They said we haven't beaten the 49ers at home in 3 years! That makes this even more awesome! 13 seconds! Do you think that was planned and written in their note for the game? Or was Geno just winging it? He was able to see and decide what to do and where to go and he did. I don't really care. Geno needed this so all those Nay-sayers will shut the Chuck up about him being "too old" and "not fast enough". He's so calm and cool and collected about everything. Geno Smith isn't going anywhere! I love my Seahawks and anyone who doesn't can just go away!
At the end of the game, I said, "Well, they're a work in progress. This is a step in the right direction." That's about it. Side Note: Snapping the ball over Geno's head. WTF, guys. Every time I see a snap do that, I always think back to SB48's start of the game and Manning's FU. God I loved that game; first time in forever in putting the Broncos in their place; it was satisfying, not boring. Whenever I need a happy few hours, I rewatch that game.
what is going on with Laumea? I always see him on the healthy scratch list, but he is on the 53. Are we protecting him to wait till he gains bulk or is there something else going on? I would love to see him play. He was my favorite pick coming out of this years draft (offensively), would love some answers
He's a developmental player, similar to Jerell but he's not been forced into the starting role through injuries. I think they're developing him as a backup LG, but similar to Olu they're running him as a healthy scratch on gameday with Sundell in the multi-position backup role. I assume if Tomlinson was out for any reason, Laumea would get the start at LG.
Us moving on from Matt Hasselbeck led us to winning a Super Bowl and being a playoff team for a decade. The fear of that we may not find better than Geno is understandable, but letting that keep us from trying is a recipe for the stagnation and mediocrity we've been stuck in since he became the starter. Geno isn't a bad quarterback, he just isn't a reliably good or great one.
@@iron_bison you don't even know if Geno will be here next year...once he's gone, whenever that is , Sam is next man up....they didn't give up a third to not expect him to start at some point after Geno is done here....JS and new staff wanted him for that imo....
We all happy to beat the 49ers but dude hold your horses about the team , still the offense is very disjointed , Grubb can’t figure out how to run the ball , don’t get to hype
This is the first game all season that I have seen all the players sell out for the team ! Geno should have been running a lot more instead of trying not to get hurt looking for a big payday at the end of the year. He is as talented as any QB in the league but has a tendency to protect himself first and it has cost the team. I could not believe my eyes on that last drive when he started running with abandon! Where has this commitment been all year? All the players seem to have had a wakeup call. I saw more effort from everyone and the talent to win is there if they will play that way every week! I believe that the roster changes during the week let everyone on the team know that if you don't bring it every week you may not be on the the roster next week. Sometimes that kind of message is needed. I just hope they carry that kind of effort into the rest of the year! POMO
Geno must have felt like he'd delivered divine retribution to the 49ers when he ran across that goal line :-) Go, Seahawks! You are MY TEAM!
😂😂😂
He did say he felt like it was Angels In The Outfield on that final drive.
I would like to see Geno run a few more times per game to keep teams honest.
It seems like he should be more willing to take off right? Every time it does, good things seem to happen. I'd also like to see more designed rollouts (or at least half-rolls) if/when the O-line is struggling to protect.

DK needs to catch more with his hands. That basket catching is just too risky IMHO.
I get it, but that's just what he does. You're not going to change it now.
Great win

I mean it took detroit 4 years. Eagles like a decade. How long is it going to take to build a great oline?
Bro this feels so good

What the. He's unlike any qb ever? Okie dokie.
So sweet! Sometimes a player's success has more to do with the coaching than the amount of talent they have. POMO
Cathartic victory. Go Hawks.

When will this be on Apple Podcasts
Snap wasn't 10ft over Genos head I'm impressed with our Center

@@Brendan_Myersclassic bad seahawks move. Rg's both suck so lets have laumea a multi year RIGHT side guard and tackle back up the LG.
I'm hoping he gets a shot to start next year. They must see that upside in him to keep him on the 53. I like what I saw in preseason.
@@iron_bison Guess it's a good Seahawks move after all, he's the starting RG this week over Haynes. We're gonna find out what he's got

You do realize that when Geno is gone Sam is the next starter right…
@@brianmyers4444great. He'll be whitehurst.
@iron_bison not saying he'll be great but far better than Whitehurst...
Geno Smith needs to focus on the game
What the hell you talking about….you think he focuses in something else….
Sam Howell is the next man up. Quit talking draft picks.
He's not. He's literally a backup for a team that needed a backup.
Someone who gets it…..
@@brianmyers4444there is no next man up with a new coaching staff and a backup. Howell until they sign him to a deal is a backup for 1.5 seasons.

Did the linebacker's brother happen to win AFC Defensive Player of the Week this year? lol
We lose if Bosa stays in and Kittle plays...period.
That’s not how it works.
I thought Devon Witherspoon had a great game
We all happy to beat the 49ers but dude hold your horses about the team , still the offense is very disjointed , Grubb can’t figure out how to run the ball , don’t get to hype
I give you permission to get excited about an extremely important win.
Run game is almost completely based on how the o line performs…and that’s the issue with Hawks….

Your Geno take is pure nonsense….his not running has nothing to do with money and has not hurt the team…..
Again ...lmao D.A. fist time ever
